  1. come to hudson county, NJ - we have you beat by a mile.
  2. Hey Bob - who is "we"? so you asked him about it and they denied it, and then a few days later it comes out and they said he didn't tell them?
  3. How did I miss this??? 1) Spitzers campaign manager gets a DUI on the Niagara section in late October (smashed into someone and rolled a few times) 2) His Dad goes to bail him out and gets arrested himself for DUI at the police station 3) It all becomes public in early november, and the Spitzer camp "docks his pay" and says he won't be a part of the transition team if they win. 4) They claim they weren't hiding / holding anything back and that the campaign manager didn't tell them about the accident for 2 weeks. 5) On November 10th - 3 days after the win and about a week after his pay was docked, the campaign manager gets a $150,000 bonus from Spitzer.
  4. It sure seems that way doesn't it. My Dad is a UB law graduate and I can assure you that in the 50's at least they made a few righties...
  5. as long as the cinci or baltimore games aren't the last games of the year I'd expect we would sell out the season (and if we are halfway decent early we'll sell them all out).
  6. or if you are the patriots, you didn't spend close to all your money and still won 12 games...
  7. yeah, ask every other team in the NHL if they feel that way.
  8. i like hotwire.com
  9. I think this site says we had the 3rd toughest schedule - i didn't realize it was so tough. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/nfl06.htm
  10. yes, it was snowing hard and in huge flakes but it was as calm as could be from a wind perspective - so the real issue was getting a good hold and good footing on the turf.
  11. Just because people have kicked long field goals before doesn't mean we should have tried yesterday. You really think we had a better chance of getting the field goal than getting a first down and then kicking a shorter field goal? There was plenty of time on the clock. The real problem wasn't going for it, the real problem was the bad play calling on 2nd and 3rd down and the indecision on 4th down. (and by the way - at the pats game there was no wind. tons of snow, but it wasn't windy at all.)
  12. Jets win, makes me feel much better.
  13. Kornheiser just said "My dog can throw harder than pennington"...i think he is right.
  14. Yes, but nowhere in the skit did it say that only Justin or Andy was allowed to give the gift of a d*ck in a box. GM17
  15. maybe not in the street, but ghost in the graveyard kick the can spud
  16. i keep hearing cablelady say again and again how the wind wasn't bad at all, so my question is - why did the tennesee punts suck so bad and the tn field goal barely cross from 42 yards if the wind wasn't so bad?
  17. did you give him a present? Perhaps a d*ck in a box?
  18. don't forget to include metro populations in that as well...
  19. and we want KC to win because we want them to have something to play for next week?
  20. link Lost and found It's not a holiday miracle, but David Kausch just might be the luckiest Bills fan around. His improbable tale began at the Dec. 3 Bills-Chargers game. The Bills lost the game, and Kausch was well on his way to his Amherst home when he realized he had lost his wallet, too. He went back to Ralph Wilson Stadium and retraced his steps. Bills employees said he couldn't go back inside, but they would call if his wallet turned up. Kausch called the team repeatedly, but had no luck. Fast forward to last Sunday's Bills-Dolphins game, which found Kausch in the same seats. He looked all around but didn't find his billfold. However, later in the game, the woman sitting behind him asked Kausch if he had lost his wallet. She was pointing to a wallet wedged between two seats. It was damp from two weeks of exposure, but all his cash and bank cards were still there. He told everyone around him the story. "They couldn't believe it," Kausch said.
  21. i'm surprised that utica stations wouldn't carry the game. oh well.
  22. it is an interesting case. Both sides aer claiming they are trying to protect the fans. Stubhub helps those with tickets trying to make lots of money. Patriots helping those who want tickets so they don't have to pay $175 per ticket on stubhub (pats allow ticket holders to resell for face value to those in the season ticket holder list). The pats also took away the season tickets of SMERLAS!!! who was selling "tailgate with fred" tickets and tailgate packages for $500 or so, or just the tailgate for $200. Obviously this mean the tickets were effectively being sold for $300...he should have priced things differently but it couldn't have happened to a better person
  23. i'll make this easier: Bills Songs Here
  24. for a long time they had the horrible black and white scoreboard. When the stadium guys were feeling really frisky they would throw up a black and white replay - but they could only go for about 2 seconds because they probably didn't have enough computing power. (and the scoreboard was a lightbulb scoreboard - ie, it was filled with what seemed to be normal size lightbulbs.). you wouldn't believe it if you saw it today. Then in the late 80's (i think) hey got a crappy color version of the same sh*tty scoreboard - it sucked too. And THEN they finally got the nice jumbotron we have now, which at the time was super state of the art....
  25. the problem is that this is a complete sham. Read about this story - the libyan government is using them as scapegoats....
