  2. I haven't seen this anywhere else - is this confirmed? I didn't see the HBO yet...
  3. they'll fine you but they usually don't count towards points
  4. Come on. Buying in general over the long term is certainly wiser, but there are plenty of people out there right now who are wishing they had kept on renting rather than buy. If you were thinking of buying or renting in florida or arizona or california around 2006 and took that advice you aren't so happy with things these days. And how did you only make $10k on your place in Hoboken??
  5. i was giving sh*t to SD who can do better than all of us, i was concurring with you.
  6. Don't you know anything bills_fan?! I've heard of 35% in certain caribbean locations.
  7. Vonage it is. I've used them before but canceled cause i never used it. Can i hook up a vonage phone in 2 locations? ie one here and one upstate? "Honey, as you can tell from my area code I'm still up here in Syracuse on a big project...won't be home till Friday"
  8. Thanks JF. Can you make calls using grandcentral? I need to call someone and have a certain area code as well.
  9. I'm running a bit of a business from an off site location, and I want it to look like I am nearby. I need a (cheap) system where I can: a) have incoming calls go to a certain area code b) check voicemail online if possible. c) make calls so that the caller id says a certain area code. d) Make outgoing calls in multiple locations if possible All I can think of is skype,. I know they do a/b/c but can you have the same skype number hooked up to 2 different locations? Any other ideas for handling this? thanks
  10. you could have bought 2 beers in key west instead of wasting it on that...
  11. the latter. i'm pretty sure wade phillips probably isn't too excited either but I'm sure jones made him do it.
  12. Me too. She keeps suggesting I go to Alaska and try my luck at crab fishing for a few months. Can't figure out why....
  13. The promotional industry is incredibly competitive, which means high priced clicks and very, very difficult SEO. You have basically zero chance of ranking for the top keywords / phrases SEOwise for probably a few years ("custom printing", "promotional items" etc) , so I would suggest focusing on longer phrases, or geographically targeted phrases. That said, SEO is a gift that keeps on giving so don't ignore it. I did some good work on some of my sites 5 years ago and it is paying off in spades today...
  14. lots of comments, don't take offense - i do this a lot, and overall I think this is a good start, not a bad design, good colors etc. - I need to know what you do within the first second of coming to your site. This doesn't tell me that. - People don't read. Those 3 paragraphs on the main page won't be read by 95% of the people. Replace with 1 sentence and some images about what you do. - Think of the site from a "What do we want people to do next" perspective, and put most of your efforts towards getting people to do that thing next. The "Custom Designs Available" image isn't much of a call to action. Change that to a graphic of a shirt with "Custom Shirts" or "View Custom Products" or something like that. - It looks like some of your main categories of what you want people to do are on the top right (services, designs etc) - I'd also put those in the main section of the site with images linking to them. - I don't like the word "catalog" - I'd change it to "products" or something like that.
  15. a very GREAT clothing trend this spring here in NYC is a distinct lack of bras - especially downtown.
  16. haven't seen that before - love it.

  18. is lsi gone?
  19. pics? and not only is it small, but it is all coral so walking in for a swim is just about impossible.
  20. i think i stayed at that place at New Years one year. you might not want to use the sheets...
  21. I think it depends on what you want to do. In all honesty, based on what I know of you as a random person on the internet - I think you would have a lot of fun in Key West. Problem with key west is that the beaches suck . You go there more for the shops, the restaurants and the bars (which are a good time with a good atmosphere), and spend your days on a snorkeling cruise or at your hotel / condo pool. I have had a great time in key west, but I have always gone for more of a fun atmosphere - not a relaxing trip with my new fiance. I have just driven through all of other keys, so will defer to others about what they offer - but they are probably calmer, less crowded and more picturesque.
  22. amen. Harrison better not get railroaded just because he kept his piece in a bucket at the carwash like everyone else does.
