If Obama wins it will help the racial divide over the next 4 years If McCain wins all hell will break loose with crazy accusations etc. Republicans simply can't win, no matter how much money they spend on education or how many minorities they hire for cabinet positions - they will be seen as the big evil party towards minorities, because as we all know "George Bush hates black people".

link? Because I know a meteorologist and he is far from in that 99% camp. Are things getting warmer? Yes. Are we to blame and can anything be done? Who knows. And as for google, they buy a fighter jet as a toy for themselves, and then let NASA use it (or say they will use it) for experiments - because I'm sure NASA really needs a fighter jet for experiments.

my personal problem with the global warming debate (and I'm not convinced of the cause or any possible solutions) is that it alienates a lot of people more than other environmental causes. I give to a lot of environmental groups and I'm all for cleaner air, cleaner water and more preservation - but that doesn't mean there should be a carbon tax to save the world. There isn't much argument about how much forest is being cut down in brazil, while trying to predict the temperature of the earth in 40 years is a whole 'nother animal. Ask your father what the weather is going to be like on December 12th. If he's within 3 degrees and can tell me how much precipitation there will be I'll believe what he thinks will happen in 42 years.

where did anyone say anything about it being obama's fault? the point as I see it is that while the left and the media won't shut up about the horrible comments from mccain supporters - it is clearly evident that BOTH sides have plenty of idiots, and that there appears to be a lot of hate being perpetrated against mccain supporters - including physical violence.

To some extent yes, but I've seen the new lineup(s) in concert a few times and Axl is what makes them tick...still awesome. And the bootlegs of the new album are pretty good, so I'll be one of the suckers buying this in a month.
