If we beat the Ravens on Sunday
CentralVaBills replied to Rudyc80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No doubt about this. We win this weekend, those 8,000 are gone. And IF we win this weekend, we will get to .500 with the 4th win in a row over the Jets. Take it to the bank. Big IF this weekend though. BIG. LET"S FRIGGIN GO! -
AMEN. It's funny, when Gray had a lot less talent, his D's sucked. Even more disturbing, he hasn't really developed anyone. Most of the Bills impact D players were either here and established or they are the guys we signed. Even with all the money spent on the D now, they still have major flaws. This move is JOKE!

Roll Call for Bills at Ravens this weekend.....
CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, I thought so too, but my seats are kinda crappy. They (Suntrust) evidently have 40 season tickets, and this guy was telling me they have great seats. So, I get all pumped (which I still am) and he sends me the tix FedEx and they are in the lower bowl, but corner endzone and under cover. I hate that stevestojan, but oh well. I hope their endzonies aren't that idiotic. We'll see though. As good as the tailgate they are having is, and the parking pass, how in the hell are their seats in the corner endzone? Christ. lmao, listen to me bitching over free stevestojan! -
Roll Call for Bills at Ravens this weekend.....
CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
#89, you have a whole busload of Bills fans? Is that right? Try to let me know where those seats are. Thanks CVB -
I like that Indy/JAX over 40 alot. I mean alot. Colts are good for at least 24 and the Colts D will give up more than their share. Hell, Colts will probably get 31. I'd probably couple that with the Pats at -.5 or I'd think about Minnesota at -1. If you really wanna win take the over in the Colts game and take Texas Longhorns +3.5. See, in my teases, I'd get the Colts at -2.5 and that, my friend, I REALLY like.

3-0 Hell.......I was 8-2 last weekend........I bet college too, cuz that's where the money is......up a cool $730. Of course I'll probably give it back, but oh well. I had my winners as such.... Buffalo -6.5 over Miami ($200) St. Louis -6.5 over Tampa ($100) Auburn -12.5 over Arkansas ($200) Toledo -13 over Ohio U ($50) Clemson -23.5 over Utah St ($50) My teases are 7 points, and have been for years..... Buffalo +.5 and NY Jets -2.5 ($100) Buffalo +.5 and St. Louis +.5 ($100) Auburn -5.5 and Toledo -6 ($100) My two losses were..... ($50) Minnesota and Clemson teased........Minnesota got killed and ($100)Friggin Oklahoma friggin State who were favored and friggin got blown out. (Dumb bastards) Gotta check this weekends action......but another early LOCK of the year Texas -2.5 at Texas Tech. Texas is better than everyone thinks they are. They'll win an in-state rival game easily. TAKE THE HORNS and lay 2.5.

OK, all you defense apologists....
CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way. We have sunk alot of money into the defense. Our O will not score much at all. The defense needs to TRULY win this game for us. Their offense is putrid. Our defense, IF it is top notch (which it isn't), should win this game for us. You can not count on the offense to do much. But any team could count on a top notch defense shutting down a putrid Ravens offense. By what you said, it should work even more the other way around. It should be much easier to shut them down, then for the Ravens to shut us down. Top Notch? We'll see this week. -
they MUST win this weeks game for us. MUST. Classic defensive struggle, and the better defense will win period. So, if our D is so good, they must shut down the Ravens, WITHOUT Jamal Lewis, WITHOUT Todd Heap, and with an inexperienced QB. If they want to earn the rep that only Bills fans give them credit for being a top notch defense, they need to win us this game this week. And this doesnt' mean give up 13 points and brag. This means they cant' allow time consuming, field position drives. Penalites that lose us field position. Choking late against a offensively challenged NFL offense. As a matter of fact, as scary as Baltimore's defense is, I hope we kickoff first and start the battle of field position right off of the bat. We'll see if the D is for real or not this week. THEY NEED TO WIN THIS GAME FOR US!
-
we could pull off the upset and take down Baltimore? And then beat the Cards, and come home to face the Jets. That would be cool. It would almost be like every game would be the playoffs. Wishful thinking, but I'll be doing my part inside of I-change-my-stadium-name-every-year-whatever it is Ravens field. Go Bills. God, this could at least give us hope!

What incredible nuts both teams showed. Houston for gutting out three wins and having a great atmosphere in their park. They're up 3-2. And Boston for not rolling over and playing dead down 3-2. New York fans better hope Schilling isn't healthy enough to pitch or to game 7 they go. As a Pirates fan, my hats off to both Boston and Houston. I hope they both make the series!

I was thinking the same thing. He is also full bore in warm-ups as well. I like this guy more and more and think he should get more time somewhere.
-
brings to the table? I myself would like to see Marcus more on the O-line somewhere. Even if it's at guard or just somewhere. If any of you go to games and watch him in pre-game warmups, he is always going 100% and doing every drill to his fullest potential. Before the NE game......I was watching the OL group in the end zone, to maybe pick up a drill or two I can use with my HS football team, and I noticed Price outworking every other lineman by far. I was like, who the hell is that? I noticed Price before the Jax game too. Then I compared his techniques to that of Big Mike, and it was horrible. Big Mike would skip out of some drills and if there was a chance to skip some. When a coach wasn't looking, Big Mike would peel off to the side or skipped some. His work ethic seems to suck, although I can't really say that fairly by just watching warmups. It sure did look like it though. Anyway, in all, I'm glad to see Marcus get in there a little and seem to do OK. Not at the expense of Jennings so much, but I really like Price.

No, not really jackass, but since you feel compelled to comment a couple of times I will too. The D was OK, not great. Again. They made some of the same mistakes they have been making all year.....the difference was we were playing the Dolphins. Fiedler threw the pick, way moreso than Spikes read any part of that play. HE DOES IT EVERY WEEK. Spikes looked like he was on some type of delayed blitz and ran right into the throw. Penalties, Sammy, poor tackling in the first half, and some sustained drives with lax coverage. A good team would have exploited it again. But Miami isn't good. There's no I told ya so.....as a matter of fact, I bet on the Bills twice today.....and I said I'd do this last week after the Jets game. This game was a lock, and one of the easiest outcomes to predict as soon as the Bills went 0-4. Ralph's comments and a home game made it a lock. Bills -5 straight up for $300, and the Bills teased to +2 along with the Jets teased down to -2.5 for another $300. I haven't lost a Bills game in about 8 straight bets. They are about the easiest team to bet on. I coudln't be happier, a Bills win, and money in the pocket. It's the Dolphins today. While it was nice to win, I would have liked to see the defense dominate all game. They didn't. And they should have agaisnt the high schoolers from Miami. The defense didn't look all that great. The looked OK. Good here and there, and bad here and there. CERTAINLY didn't dominate. Am I glad we won, hell yeah.
-
I didn't discount any of that stuff. And Spikes busted through the line, and ran into the pick, he didn't read jack stevestojan. If you watch the play, Fiedler SHOULD HAVE lobbed it over his head, and it would have went right to the back. As a matter of fact, Spikes wasn't all that close to the RB. Nonetheless, yeah, I guess you could say he had to catch it, and then run one foot at a time. lol And yes, Sammy Morris running wild in the first half MEANS THE FRIGGIN Dolphins were in the game. He tore us up, and that prolonged us from putting away a horrible team. Of course the Dolphins amassed less yards today. The conditions to play in were awful. But, they were able to adequately move the football and make plays, some big, more than they have all year. AGAIN, while the D did some good things, they also played poorly. A dominating effort would be a 27-3 Bills win. Not a 20-13 win with a goal line stand to keep them at bay. It's OK to say the D was mediocre, it's not OK to say they played a great game. The Ravens would have beaten the Dolphins at home today 20-0. That's dominating. We were mediocre. And hey, that's OK, its about time the offense pulled their weight and got us a win. Best D played today, was our offense's last drive, and the fact that the Miami Dolphins offense ever took the field.

IT'S MIAMI FOR CHRIST'S SAKES. Fiedler gave us 6 points. He does it every week. The defense gave up 13. The defense looked good at times, and the pass rush was at it's best in a long time. The defense also looked very stevestojantty at times, and made Samy Morris look like Priest Holmes. Here's a newsflash......We will also hold Arizona down at home too. There's a reason teams suck, and it's usually because they are so inept on offense, they always shoot themselves in the foot. While we did an OK job against Miami, we also showed some of the same tendencies that we have shown against teams far more superior than Miami. And one of those was precisely when the high school Dolphins ripped off their 8 minute drive into the wind, and drove it down our throat until we stopped them at the one. This is after we had 10 straight points and all the MO. If that's NE, or the Jets, or any other team with a clue, they punch that ball in. We were lucky it was Miami. Stupid penalties continued in the secondary as well as London Fletcher's obligatory moment of stupidity. Please, I can't wait to see Lawyer and Troy back. Our backups are awful. Good and Bad, which there were plenty of each today = a MEDIOCRE performance. Especially considering who we played. The best D played today, and the surest D played today was our offense putting together that last drive!
-
No, I agree here.....he could always be moved back. One of the easiest positions to teach is DT. However, I really think a DL with Schobel, Williams, Fat Sam and Edwards at the other end would be nice to finish this year. Then add the injured guys and our D, would be pretty nice I think. My thinking is that Edwards would be a very good run stopping DE, and any sacks would be a plus. We aren't getting sacks or pass rush from Denny or Kelsay that much anyway. And I know Edwards plays the run better. That's all I was thinking. Hell, don't even know if it would work. But I, as a D coordinator would at least play around with it some! We could always move him back inside.
-
Yeah, what the hell could I be thinking. You're connected to reality. OK. Congrats on that one. Now, to point out stuff that they did mediocre, let's take a look. Let's see here.... 1. In brutal conditions, Miami's high school offense had their best game of the season. 2. Sammy Morris had 119 total yards, including a 5.1 YPCarry average, and a 14.0 YPCatch average on receptions. 3. While they did give the Bills a nice (And thank god Fiedler played) lead, obvisously with the pick by Spikes, it was friggin thrown right to him. Horrible pass. But, if you are grounded in reality, you would have expected one of these today, because Fiedler throws one of these per week. By the way, this is the fourth game out of 6 Miami has had a TD scored on them off of an INT. 4. The drive that our D stuffed the Miami offense and held them to a FG, was not until Miami answered the Bills 10 straight points with a 15 play drive that lasted nearly 8 minutes INTO the wind. Not very impressive if you ask me. In fact, pretty friggin bad, especially when the Bills had all the MO. 5. The best defense the Bills played today was the last drive when the OFFENSE finally pulled it own weight and kept themselves on the field instead of handing it over to the D to finish the game. The pass rush looked good. The goal line stand was good, only after they sucked all the way downfield. But alot of our D looked stevestojantty, that good teams would have exploited. Good things, and bad things all day = MEDIOCRE PERFORMANCE. The D was very very mediocre, while doing some things that were pretty good. This was Miami performing pretty decent as far as their team is concerned, in bad conditions, at our house.

could suit it up and play the other DE spot opposite of Schobel? Obvisously he had a couple of sacks, however, he's a little more agile than I thought he was. If anything, he'd be a better run stuffer than we have over there, and the two morons we do have over there aren't sacking the QB anyway. Would Edwards be worth a look at DE? It's easier to find someone to plug up the middle as a backup, than it is to find a good starting DE. Why not try it.

Good TD, let the purge begin!

This isn't even a big deal. Big friggin deal, they cut Bobby Shaw. Yeah, this sends a clear message......it says that if you suck a few times and your a nobody, you're gone. If you suck, and you are not a no-name, then you'll continue to play. Shaw, big friggin deal. Bench someone who is a slacker (Mike Williams), OR who is just playing bad football (Henry), and then talk to me. Ummm, Shaw cut? Who cares. -
Seriously now.....Can anyone help?
CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Suposedly, from what I'm doing research wise on the two......when priceline says you'll get a 4 star hotel, you usually get one. When hotline says you get a 4 star hotel, you pretty much get a 3 star priceline hotel from it. Hotwire also supposedly has some pretty crappy hotels in their 1 and 2 star lineups. Damn I'm scared to pull the trigger. Don't know if I should be or not, but I just am! -
Hotwire or any of the other sites like that to book HOTEL rooms? You know, the sites where they give you the price and rating of the hotel, but not the hotel's name until you actually pay for it? Have any of you? And also, for instance, if you have.....a 3 1/2 star hotel on Hotwire......do any of you know what type of hotel that may usually be? What brands are in what star ratings. I'm scared to pull the trigger. I need assurance! Like, what are the 5 stars, 4 stars, 3 1/2 stars etc??? Please help. Thanks CVB

LMAO.................YES YES YES.....this would be the Doll House. It's a little bit further down than both Seductions and Sundowner. A new club is by there now. Cristals. Cristals is right across the road. Go there instead. The Dollhouse is now closed!
-
You have to go to Niagara Falls. Lundy's Lane has it all. Mints is OK, but all the women are from the Dominican for the most part. Skip it. Sundowner and Seductions are the places to be. All the way at the end of Lundy's Lane. You can get WHATEVER you want at Seductions with all types of girls ranging in looks from 5-9 1/2. Sundowner has some of the best looking women in a strip club I've ever seen anywhere in the world. Extras usually can't be had here. But the women are incredible. ON the weekends though, it's incredibly crowded. Keep heading west on Lundy's another 2 miles and you'll find Cristals. Cristals is owned by Sundowner. The club is actually VERY nice inside and the women are leftovers from the sundowner. Nice atmosphere and a little less crowded. Def worth a look. If you feel the need to go anywhere else than Sed, Sun or Chr then you must be gay. If the Bills win, many of them can be found in Seductions or Sundowner on Sunday night at about 9 pm on. Even saw several Raiders in there on Saturday afternoon a few years back. Enjoy!

I can't find a line for the Bills game ANYWHERE
CentralVaBills replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It'll come out as soon as Miami's QB situation is resolved about who is gonna be active and so forth. I am waiting big time for this line.
