  1. LOL, this quote sums his play up today to a tee. I thought he played well, even his picks were aggressive. You quote is perfect!
  2. even though he was throwing picks today, he was also making plays. He also made aggressive INT's if there is such a thing. He also walked around with a swagger all game. I loved it. Way to go Drew. You were an influential QB today that made a difference. Also, is it possible that our special teams could all just make the pro bowl and show off? LMAO, how great was the look on fatass Holmgren's face when he was receiving a thourough beating. LOL, HELL YEAH. Great win, great play calling, aggressive, and WE HAD A SWAGGER FOR ONCE!!! HELL YEAH!
  3. Seahawks 31 Buffalo 13
  4. made for it. Let me preface this by saying I have ZERO confidence that the Bills can win on the road this week. But let's just say they win this weekend......and go to 5-6. OK, the schedule blows from there on out up until Pittsburgh. Let's just say that somehow the Seattle game is a springboard to play well and we end up beating the patsies on the road (Bengals, Niners, and Fins) and the Bills get to the Pittsburgh game 9-6. Win that one, which I think is doable in bad weather vs. a rookie QB, and then let's look. I think JAX will finish 9-7, taking them out of the tie-break. Look at how hard everyone else's schedule is...... San Diego (10-6) I can see 3 losses in there, that puts them at 10-6. Must lose this week vs. KC though. If not, I see them getting to 11 wins. AT KC Denver TB AT Cleve AT Indy KC Baltimore (10-6) And that's if they aren't upset by a bad team. 3-3 looks about right though. AT NE Cincy NY Giants AT Indy AT Pitt Miami New York Jets (9-7) The Jets ARE NOT a good football team. I say they go 2-4 the rest of the way. And yes, I have them losing this week to Arizona. No way they finish 10-6. AT Ariz Houston AT Pitt Seattle New England AT SL Jacksonville (9-7) No way they beat Pitt, GB or Minn. They have no offense. They may even finish 8-8. This loss KILLED the Bills. AT Minn Pitt Chic AT GB Houston AT Oakland Do I think it will happen? Hell no. If the Bills win this week......can it? Actually, there is a decent shot at it!
  5. AFTER this current NFL season, go back, and play a FULL NFL season from like 1980. Seriously. Treat it like a real football season, just retro it to like 1980. So, after the pro bowl, start in 1980 (Or any year) and replay every game. In week one, play two games a day. 5-8 and 8-11 in their entirety. There were only 28 teams, so you only need to show 14 games per week. Save the best games for the weekend. How cool would that be? Replay the entire season, right through the playoffs. I think that would kill an off-season, and let people look back and say WOW, I remember him or that or whatever. You'd obviously have to fine tune the idea, but I think it would work. And not highlights either. Play the actual broadcast, full, of every game! And let the season play out like it did! I might email the idea!
  6. Mean Green and Troy can make people some serious cash in the Sun Belt. Just because North Texas lost a few non-conference games they somehow aren't figured as big favorites. They've won something like 28 conference games in a row for christ's sakes 14-0 NT and VT 28 Maryland 3 so far!
  7. Easy as stevestojan - tonight's college football games are a LOCK. You make your money off of college, and lose it in the pros usually. If you are smart, you bet the hell out of the MAC and Sun Belt in college and you can pile up money. As we speak..... North Texas 14 Arkansas St 0 (NT plus 1.5 teased, and -5.5 straight) Virginia Tech 14 Maryland 0 (VT -2.5 teased) LOCK OF THE WEEK, and perhaps the easiest bet of the year. Why NT was only favored by 5.5 over a poor ASU team is a mystery to me. Oh well!!!
  8. Don't touch this game. Bet tonight's games. Take the tease with North Texas over Arkansas St and VT over Maryland - LOCK I have North Texas + 1.5 along with Virginia Tech -2.5 in a tease and North Texas -5.5 straight up Easiest bet I've made all year!!! Hopefully I'll be up $600 at the end of tonight!
  9. Jesus man, are you kidding me??? UGH, please don't do that to us again!
  10. It just makes me sick to my stomach though that some people can't see this. They only see what they want to see, and just because we played ok against crap teams, they think everything is OK. Well, it's not. And it also sucks to have no 2nd half of a meaningful season to look forward to. I'm starting to really doubt Donahoe. Maybe if we are lucky, Mack Brown will get canned and we can then ship Jerry Gray to UT. Who knows, but our D is the biggest farce in the league!
  11. From the Buffalo News article today.... " It wasn't any great surprise when the Bills' defense came up small in New England. The Bills' gaudy defensive statistics are largely the result of nasty weather and even nastier opposing offenses. In the month before the loss to the Patriots, they fattened their numbers against Baltimore, Arizona and Miami, now the NFL's 30th-, 29th- and 27th-rated offenses." Of course, add in Jacksonville's and Oakland's pathetic offense's and it's pretty easy to see that our defense is average to very slightly above average. Not to mention the numerous choke jobs, and carving up by NE TWICE. Jerry Gray is a joke and so was his contract extension. God, our team is a mess!
  12. I agree 100%. I was so pissed off, I wanted to choke the gutless wonder. The offense was moving, and the chickenshit punted. I knew the game was over right then! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: for the ball-less decision MM!
  13. Amen BF. But get ready, because when we beat a couple of more stevestojantty teams like the Browns at home, and the 49'ers etc........they'll all be back saying we are finally gelling, and we are now playing with "attitude". Sickening! This is a flawed team. Big time. It's time to cut bait, and re-tool this roster to MM personnel, and the way he wants to identify his teams based on his coaching. You wait though, it's gonna happen. We are gonna beat a couple of patsies, and everything will be rosy again.
  14. I'd take Harrison on my team in a minute. He had a hell of a game. It was legal, and no one saw anything wrong with it. He's a hitting safety, and really, his tackling is no different than Antoine Winfield's who I consider one of the best tacklers to ever play for the Bills. WInfield always hits there, and today against GB was no different. Gimme Harrison on my team anyday!
  15. who has played like a man posessed this year. I mean balls out every friggin play, and against good teams as well as bad teams........ GAME BALL - and SEASON BALL (Besides Moorman) lol to..... FAT SAM ADAMS Sam is showing a lot this year. Keep playing hard big fella!
  16. Cmon man. I thought it was a great tackle. Right at his thighs. That was textbook on how to make a tackle in that manner. However, I also did like what Shelton did for another reason........Shelton was at least showing some fight in him. I was like, bout friggin time. Maybe the youngsters we have are hungry and will learn from all of this.
  17. Oh, I didn't know Travis played at all. I thought I saw him in a few times early, but wasn't sure. Yeah, then sticking him in there at the end, maybe would be a slap in the face.
  18. Hell, I've been saying it all year. But people here don't see it that way. It's not a FRAUD, but it's not elite by any means. It's good. NOT nearly an elite defense.
  19. Thank You. I kind of knew it wouldn't be popular to critque Milloy, but at least I feel as crazy. Suprised me a bit tonight to see that, glad someone else picked up on it. Maybe BB was right.
  20. Did I miss something here? I don't think I blamed Milloy for the loss. I critiqued Milloy's play because it stuck out to me. And when Milloy was cut by the best coaching staff in the game, I wondered...."how in the hell could Lawyer Milloy get cut?" Well, tonight, he either had a bad game, or I see a little bit of a reason why BB got rid of him. And just because he made tackles, doesn't mean he had a good game. Just an opionion, but I thought he was bad tonight, along with everyone else, but it kind of suprised me. Hell, maybe he was trying to hard, who knows!
  21. or so I thought to notice (I'm not a tape watcher) him up around the line of scrimmage and doing nothing but taking bad routes and chasing ball carriers from behind. Did anyone else notice that? On a few occasions, it seemed he crept up there, and either bit inside, then chased, or just came at the RB on a tackle and took entirely the wrong angle and then had to chase from either the side or behind. With how the Pats run their system, it seems to me that BB maybe cut him for undisciplined play. Case in point......When Rodney Harrison hit Bledsoe and was flagged........he was irate......however, I watched him stay irate, almost until the ball was snapped on the two point conversion. And then, instead of trying to make some big hit, and rushing out of control, he crept up on the edge and read the play, stayed home and seemed to execute his job and responsibility to perfection. Maybe BB knew that Milloy is a little bit undisciplined? Just a thought!
  22. Been saying this all year..... #1 Played alot of the game against JAX. However, let the Jags march right down the field in crunch, in our house for the game winner. Ummmm, choke. #2 Oakland. Yeah, we needed offense. But the busted plays against the Raiders cost us when they shouldn't have. #3 The Jets. See #1 #4 NE - Ummmmmmmmmm, ass whoopin! #5 Baltimore - Now that's an elite defense. And they shut down our offense like elite defenses do. #6 NE - Ass whoopin #2 And yeah, I know. It would be nice to have some points. But Jax and Balt are both 6-3 with about as inept offenses as ours is. And they don't constantly surrender good field position when given to them. And just wait, our D rating will slowly slip when we play the Rams and Hawks in the next couple of weeks. Our defense is definately our strength, but it is grossly over-rated by our fans!
  23. While I don't particularly care for Travis as a running back, I thought not sticking him in there was a pretty classless thing to do. Unless he's hurt or something I didn't hear about. But Burns and not Travis, cmon. While Travis tends to be over-rated by most Bills fans, I more than think he's paid enoguh service to see the field, especially before Joe Burns. I like you too MM, but you get a :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: on that one!
  24. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, no MBD. You complete me. Please no. I just wondered. Play nice. LMAO
