  1. And I don't really believe either one of them are all that good. Philly is the best team in a HORRID conference. And Pittsburgh has always subscribed to that theory. As a matter of fact, they have always be known to be cheap asses in the Burgh for not spending money. The Steelers will choke in the playoffs again, because THEY DON'T have quite enough talent. It's a recipe that's been killing them ever since their last Super Bowl victory. Take it to the bank!
  2. Oh Jeez. This is why the Raiders suck. It just took awhile to show it! LOL DAMMIT. On to next week!
  3. Uh-Oh, TD Broncos. Dammit! lol
  4. Yeah, and JP is a lock. Put me down for 4 SB's with JP please. He's a lock to get us there. Can the crusade. The rook can sit a year. Big friggin deal.
  5. It most definately was occuring with the Pack and Denver. The Patriots are the aberration. And, maybe the Pats are setting the new way of building a roster......but if you give me the Pats roster with say.....most NFL coaches, I don't think it would work. Not enough data to suggest that the Pats way of building a roster works! Plenty of data to suggest loaded teams still win the SB.
  6. Exactly! I know Brooks Bollinger ended up the Jets QB today too. Hopefully, that situation will remain the same. lol
  7. LOL, jesus, are you kidding me? I MEANT.....besides the PATS who have Belicheck.......The other SB winners of the most recent years.....lol......THE BUCS were loaded on D. The Rams were LOADED on O......the Ravens were loaded on D, the Broncos, the Pack......ummmmm, those were all free agent era teams. LOADED! Like I said, you need to be stacked or have Bill Belicheck. Period. Damn, did you honestly think I meant those teams of this year?
  8. It's all about schedule my man. And both have some hellacious games left. And, we could have the tie-breaker over the Jets when it's all said and done. Long shot I know, but if you look at the schedules, these other teams have some tough games!
  9. HELL YEAH.....picked off RAIDERS after just fumbling it to Denver! Commitment to Excellence, errrr, ahhh, yeah, whatever works AL!!!!
  10. Yeah, cuz outside of the PATS, The Bucs talent laden defense, or the Rams loaded offense, or GB's offensive firepower, or Elways O....... Don't always believe everything ESPN tells you! You need mucho talent or Bill Belicheck. Period!
  11. Hell yeah, come on Raiders....then we can switch and root for the Chargers to beat them at home next week......UH OH, then look........we are suddenly 6-6 and the Broncs are 7-5. HERE WE COME BITCHES!!! lol, alright alright, I know it sounds dumb, but hey, at least we aren't BURIED anymore!
  12. Fezzer, Bledsoe was very good today. He was actually a playmaker today. Anyone who knows anything about football knows this. Like I said earlier.....Bledsoe's INT's today were Kelly-esque, where he was actually trying to make plays downfield AGGRESIVELY. And then, to his credit, he came back on the field, and didn't hang his head, but kept the pressure on by making even more plays. For a QB that seemed to be losing confidence, my hat goes off to Drew today. He sucked it up, and if for only one week (hopefully not) was exciting again. Way to go Drew!
  13. I am thrilled too. BUT, come on man. We don't have a dominant DE. Let's put it that way. We don't have a dominant OL'man. We don't have a great QB, although it has been proven lately that you don't need a total stud. Hell, if you really take a look, our 5 wins have been against teams with a combined record of 25-29. Take away the Jets win, and it's even that much worse. Although we all know the Jets aren't as good as their record. Hell, the Jets still don't have a great win either. I love this little run, but if you looked at our schedule, we all expected that a run was entirely possible. I didn't think we'd win today though! Go Bills! 10-6 baby!
  14. I hear ya, but JP isn't even a toenail of Jim Kelly yet. And we have no idea if he will be. QB was a HUGE part of the glory years. We can pray though that he is 3/5 as good. That is better than what we've had lately.
  15. falling into place slowly. Hey, at least we have hope! I'll take it!
  16. I totally do. As weird as it sounds......we match up great against Pittsburgh. If they can't run, they are billsfanone. And they won't run against us. Have you seen Big Ben lately? He's really cooling down. I'm telling you, barring big injuries to us, we beat them either way. I tend to think we'll lose somewhere along the way, but still beat Pitt.
  17. Oh god, have some balls for christ's sakes. Pittsburgh in our house is a W for us. Mark it down. They will not be able to run on us, and Big Ben will have to win it himself. MARK IT DOWN. I can't wait til that game. I hope they are still battling for home field! That will be like a 1st round playoff game right there.
  18. No, not a QB debate, but it doesn't feel anything like 87. We also had Bruce Smith, Darryl Talley, and others in 87. And the best player in franchise history......Jim Kelly. We DO NOT have that in Bledsoe, or Losman at this point. So no, it doesn't quite feel like 87, thats all I said. You figure, in Kelly, we have a high draft pick, a guy who went to the USFL and threw for 10,000 yards in two years. We DO NOT have that now....no matter which crusade you are on!
  19. He was quite erratic most of his career. Some of his picks were like...."WTF were you thinkiing? Everyone knew Kelly was the stevestojan. Come on. Jeez, that wasn't hard to figure out. Plus, again, he was LIGHTS OUT in the USFL. Hell, he was on the cover of SI before he played ONE GAME IN THE NFL. Again, we all knew Kelly was the stevestojan. Losman????? Ummmmmm, we have no idea.
  20. UMMMMMMMMMMMM, you root for NE also. You root for NE to beat every team ahead of us. Including the Jets. You root for all the good teams that we CAN'T catch. Which means GO STEELERS, GO COLTS, GO GO PATS (yuck), and so on.
  21. LOL, jesus, no friggin way. Bledsoe had a great game today. While he threw three picks, he threw them while he was trying to make plays. Today, FINALLY, he was a playmaker. He made good throws. He made tough throws. He also, managed the team well. His picks weren't his normal, dumb-assed, I'm gonna get sacked picks. They were of Drew trying to make plays downfield.....kind of Kelly-esque I would say. He made a few bad decisions, but he also played on hell of a game. If we get that from him every week, this team would romp a lot of people. His mistakes were aggressive today, which was nice. He finally played with some swagger. I like that. He also looked like he had confidence. He made mistakes today, but he also came right back and lead the team with confidence. I'm not sure what the hell you saw, but Bledsoe was FINALLY a playmaker today. And we need him to have that confidence until we are officially eliminated. Pick on Drew about his last two seasons, don't pick on him today! Nice job today Drew. And damn our special teams are the SHIZZAT!!!
  22. No way, you could tell Kelly had "it". We were losing some games with Jimbo, but we were instantly competitive when he got here. Instantly! Plus Jimbo was seasoned with two years of USFL. Losman......we have NO IDEA how good he is.
  23. Just for the record, I posted this on Friday. The teams ahead of us ALL have nightmare schedules, while ours blows. If we keep winning, it will be worth keeping an eye on, however the San Diego game killed bringing them back to the pack today!
  24. NO, I don't agree at all. In 87, we had a future Hall of Fame QB. We don't have that now. Not in Drew, although I liked his swagger today. And we have NO IDEA what we have in Losman. None. Keep winning, this is fun again, but 87? I hardly think so. Only because we know what we have in Drew, and JP, I'd bet my house, is no Jim Kelly.
