The Official TSW Playoff Scenario Thread
CentralVaBills replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
T-Man.....here's where I'd jump off of the bandwagon. Sorry to say.....IMO.....I'd personally take the Colts, straight up, in a huge bet, and I'd give Buffalo 9.5 points. No way we'd come close in this one. We woudn't be ready. I can see the crowd noise, and the false starts, resulting in sacks, and penalties. Take the Colts, and lay whatever that line would be! -

Wow, that would probably mean that the Colts would have passed them. And I'll tell you what.....NO ONE is beating the Colts in the dome. Not even NE! -

Hey man, not much wrong with your logic either........I just want the Steelers BAD. I know we can beat them. But yeah, I do want the Bengals reeling a little bit before they play us. Wins over the Ravens and Pats is some serious MO! -
WOW! IF that's true, that's about all you could say is WOW!

Seriously people the Jets spot is still in
CentralVaBills replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree! My best friend is a Jets fan, and he's a little bit worried also. If John Abraham is out, they'll be in even deeper trouble! -

LMAO....I hear ya I really do. So, I'm not making fun of your post. However, I also think we could beat Cleveland....even if the Bills players wouldn't show up, and just the crowd made noise. LOL They'd find some way to self destruct and run the wrong way to give us points. Or maybe even a bad snap to give us a safety. We'll beat Cleveland. -

Because, we want them at full strength to see a great game, and a juiced atmosphere. I'd rather beat Pittsburgh at FS, rather than beat Pitt's scrubs and then lose to Indy in the playoffs. Then, all we'll hear is how we only beat them because they didn't play their best guys. SCREW THAT. PLUS, imagine the confidence it might give us to go on the road the next week. No, the Bengals won't OFFICIALLY be eliminated. But with 7 losses, they'll have no chance! Everyone knows that. The wild cards, regardless who they are, will most likely be at least 10-6. -

Hell yes man. Easily will be the game of the week nationally too. God, that's all I want. Even if we don't make the playoffs.....I want the Steelers at 9-6. Would be a hell of a Christmas present. The Bengals game looms large though. Very large! -

LMAO.....focus on Cleveland? Is this a joke? OK, OK, I hear ya.......but I think we could beat Cleveland, even with Drew throwing left handed! -

Yes it will. And not only that......but I keep saying this also...... We would have an incredible streak going. Not only that, we match up very well vs. Pittsburgh, esp at home. They WILL NOT run on our defense. If the weather is bad, let me see Big Ben win, what will essentially be his first playoff game, on the road, in hostile conditions. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. God, I wish the pansies would quit ducking the Steelers at full strength. Gimme Pittsburgh's best, at full strength, for all the marbles. How sweet it will be! -

I keep saying this.....Who friggin cares if the Steelers have it wrapped up? I want a playoff like game at the Ralph in the last week. Since we wouldn't get a home playoff game anyway, I want the Steelers at full strength, with both teams laying it on the line for playoff purposes. The place will be rocking! -

They don't. As a matter of fact, we probably should be rooting for the Pats to beat the Bung-Holes and knock them out before we get them. Beating them up physically a little bit wouldn't hurt either! -

Everyone, by now, knows exactly what must be done for the Bills. The cat was out of the bag after last week. The huge problem is........repeating.........Everyone should be counting on a Denver loss to Indy. The Indy - SD game the week before that could very easily throw a wrench into those plans BIG TIME, as that game could determine if INDY plays starters that last week or not. -

It really is. However, aside from the Bung-Holes win today and Oakland over Denver last week, everything else has been predictable. Oh wait...... Oakland won AT Denver........oh wait......AT DENVER???? LOL Anything is possible, but that SD - INDY game could wreck us! DAMMIT -

No way. They are doing this now, because they are still trying to accomplish playoff positioning. If they have their spot wrapped up, Tony Dungy is way too classy, and way too smart to risk getting those guys injured in a meaningless game. DAMMIT! -

Yeah, don't see Denver dropping two before that though. DAMN, that game could kill us. I just saw that now, and it scares me. -
on a game that features San Diego AT Indy. Right now, SD is in the #3 slot by virtue of better AFC record, but they are tied record wise. That game could settle head to head with only one week to play afterward. That game may well likely settle playoff scenarios for both of those teams. A week later.....Denver plays Indy. We really need Indy to win that game. However, things should be settled the week before which could mean a nice rest for Peyton Manning and the crew, and could be doom for us! I AM NOT liking that at all!

Who to root for next week
CentralVaBills replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm pretty sure Denver would by virtue of a better AFC Conference record. So, basically Denver has to go 2-2 in their last four. It's looking like they have the best chance to break our hopes! -
Who to root for next week
CentralVaBills replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing big happens next week. Houston has no realistic shot to make it let alone beat Indy. Cincinnati is a moot point because for us to make it, we have to run the table and by beating Cincy, they'll have 7 losses. All 4 WC Contenders win next week, and we'll still be one game back heading into hell week the next week. That is the season breaking week as we go at Cincy, and Baltimore and everyone else starts playing the Big Boys! -
Down goes Jacksonville,
CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LMAO, 60 yards? Lucky? How far did the Steelers move to kick the go ahead FG? And how many times in NFL HISTORY has someone made a FG of 60 yards or more? I'll take my chances with those odds. I hope they are 14-1 when they come to the Ralph. We will win that one. We will lose to Cincy before we lose to Pitt at home! -

CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again, a loss. No way Pittsburgh loses. A retard coaching staff who doesn't let the clock run out LOSES. Thus, Pittsburgh takes enough time off of the clock and they win. 11-1, not by choking with 18 seconds left! -
Down goes Jacksonville,
CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's over, you aren't 11-1 for no reason. No way they blow this one! EVERYTHING is breaking the Bills way! -
And the Bills get even closer to a playoff berth!
