What a bunch of chickens around here....
CentralVaBills replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes I friggin do. The Tommy Maddox Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, big achievement. ALL THE MORE REASON for the Steelers to pound them into submission this time! 20-3 Pittsburgh! EASILY, with or without the Pats loss tonight. -

Yeah, happy as hell that we pounded the Tommy Maddox Steelers into the turf. Great. Trust me, I realize this makes things a TINY bit better, but wahhhhhhhhhh. Go Bills! -

I tend to agree with MDH to a point. I think they'll start their regulars and then they'll slowly come out of the ballgame. I mean, come on.......if say, Big Ben were to get hurt, in a cold meaningless game......Cowher would be villified. Then, let's say they lose in the playoffs. It would be a circus. So, just like the Bills used to do under Marv, I don't think we'll see the starters for more than a quarter! -

Yeah ok, let's see here........ #1 means that if Indy has something to play the last week....well......that would mean the Jets will beat NE this week. Yeah, that works out well for us! #2 SO, with homefield on the line, lemme guess......the Pats were gonna lay down next week? LMAO. You've gotta be kidding me. #3 Ummmmm, see #2, and change team names! #4 Miami would still be playing hard that last week. If we are going to pass Baltimore, it's going to be this week or nothing! -

Yeah ok, like the opportunities wouldn't have been there in the first place if the Pats would have won tonight. You're right....lol.......Both Pittsburgh and NE wouldn't have tried so hard next week seeing that homefield throughout would still be on the line! OK, LMAO! -

Scared! Scared friggin shitless! No, it's not about money for me. We haven't had a BIG game at home forever. It would have been awesome. And I, for one, think we'd have gotten to 10-6 no matter what the Steelers threw at us. And nothing NE or Pitt would have done would effect the Jets or JAX, who it looks like we'll have to ultimately catch! -

THEY WOULD HAVE LOST ANYWAY. It's friggin Baltimore. They are friggin 8-6 and couldn't score AT INDY. INDY for christ's sakes. Baltimore can't beat anyone good. They can't score. How in the hell are they going to score in Pittsburgh? They wouldn't have! I understand it helps us.......but see, I wasn't afraid. I think we would have gotten to 10-6 anyway. And nothing that Pitt or NE would have done would help the Jets or JAX to lose one more game. Nothing! And those are the two teams the we realistically are probably going to have to catch! -

Yeah, OK, on the road.....probably at Indy. While I love our team and what we are doing.....do you have a bookie? If not, and if we make the playoffs.........see me after the season, I may just start booking bets......cuz there's prolly no way we win on the road in Indy! -

No sh--! Like any Bills fan didn't realize this 2 weeks ago. They would have put down the throttle anyway. The Ravens can't score against anyone with a clue. And no sh-- we have to back our way in. So, what if these other teams take care of business? Which two of them probably will. Hopefully not, but probably will. I sure would have liked to see us kick Pittsburgh's ass at home, in a meaningful game that will have probably be better than most of the playoff games anwway! Another Chickenshit! -

Can't help it TH, makes me friggin sick man. We have one of the toughest places to play, and all of these pansies are scared stiff. But yet, somehow, we'll beat them on the road in the playoffs, when the chickenshits don't even want them in our venue? Pathetic! -

I hope he doesn't, but I can't see the Steelers playing much more than a quarter in brutally cold weather up there risking injury. He'd be crucified if some key guy got hurt when the game means nothing to them! -
YESSSSSSSS, Pats win....

Not gonna happen on the road! -

Yeah, like Indy or NE on the road. And while I like the streak as much as anyone, our fame will abruptly end in Indy or now in NE. -

Ah, BS. The Steelers and the Pats would have been playing hard next week anyway. They still would have been playing for homefield. And yes, this helps us out. No doubt. But jeez......what a bunch of pansies everyone is trying to duck the Steelers! -
into the playoffs? You guys make me sick. I mean come on. What would have been better than the 14-1 Steelers (Needing to win for homefield) AT a team on a six game winning streak, needing to win to get into the playoffs? I mean, you all want to make the playoffs, but want to avoid Pittsburgh at full strength. WHY? If we can't beat them at home, while needing a win, how in the HELL are we going to beat them in the playoffs down the road, AND on the road? I can't believe the pansy ass attitude most of you have, when we have the best team in the AFC coming to OUR FRIGGIN HOUSE, in January. And to say the least, we could have honestly got a gauge on if we were for real or not. Here's a newsflash......if the Pats would have won tonight......both they and the Steelers would have needed to crush the Jets and Ravens respectively anyway. They would have still been battling for homefield. I can't believe how scared you all are of the friggin Steelers who have been squeaking by week after week, when we could have been the showcase game of the week, IN OUR FRIGGIN HOUSE nonetheless. Could have beaten their ass and served noticed to a national audience just how far we've come! Chickenshits man. God, we've lost our swagger! The Ralph, in January, and most of fans are friggin chickenshits. Sickening!

Because man, what the hell is better than a 14-1 team needing to win to clinch home field, against a team on a six game winning streak needing to win to get in the playoffs? Now, that's not gonna happen. I wanted the Steelers at full stregth, and any of you pansies who didn't think we could have beaten them at full strength are wussies! Sorry, but the chickenshit attitude toward the Steelers makes me sick. If we can't beat them at our house, while needing a win, what the hell makes anyone think we can win in the playoffs anyway. Everyone wants to back the hell in. What a bunch of chickenshits! -

I kid you not Quix.......it was only Cincy.........but I was as jacked up for Cincy as I was for some of the early 90's games. Because I knew if we beat Cincy, this Pitt game was going to be AWESOME. Now, both teams are looking like they will NEED this game! If we lose to SF this week, I'll walk to One Bills Drive and beat the piss out of someone there with my own two hands! Don't ruin this thing now! BRING ON SHITTSBURGH! -

LOL, ok, I'll take that. However, I HATE Pittsburgh, that's why I want those asswipes. I'm from Pittsburgh. My whole family LOVES the Steelers. This one has extra meaning for me. Plus, we match up well against them. They won't be able to sustain the run against us. It's Big Ben vs. the weather, and the 12th man. I LOVE our chances! I want them John, and I want them BAD. Takeo had his game vs Cincy.....now I want mine against PITT! lol -

Has nothing to do with those teams, although we certainly need them to lose. We could all be 9-6 going into the last week, and still all have to win! And to even keep the drama going, if we are all are 9-6, the Jags and Broncos both play at 4 pm. If we win this week in Frisco, we'll still be alive, no matter what, when our game is played at 1 pm. BRING IT! That will be our playoff game! -
Playoffs or not, you can bet your ass.....
