  1. Roethislisberger didn't go on the run he had as much as the rest ofthe Steelers were stacked. Particularly their O-Line. He just guided the ship and then cost them late in the playoffs. The rest of our team isn't nearly as good as the rest of the Steelers were. Particularly, again, the O-line.
  2. Anyone, particularly starting down or from the I-95 corridor?
  3. We beat up on mostly patsies last year in running our record up. Our line is in chaos. We have a rookie QB. Wait, let me repeat, WE HAVE A ROOKIE QB. OK, now let's look, although I hope we go 12-4, it's not gonna happen. SUN 9/11 HOUSTON AT BUFFALO 1:00p (ET) We win this one, just because we are the Bills, and we think we shouldn't lose at home to Houston, especially after what happened at home to JAX last year. In a low scoring affair we win. 1-0. SUN 9/18 BUFFALO AT TAMPA BAY 1:00p (ET) Losman's first road game. At TB. Not gonna happen for us. Another tight game as our defense holds down Tampa's O. Nonetheless, 10-9 TB. 1-1 SUN 9/25 ATLANTA AT BUFFALO 1:00p (ET) Ron Mexico simply makes more plays than our future Ron Mexico "type" QB. 1-2 SUN 10/2 BUFFALO AT NEW ORLEANS 12:00p (CT) JP back at the dome. We win this one on some fluky play. Many Bills fans make the trip and we get to .500. 2-2 SUN 10/9 MIAMI AT BUFFALO 1:00p (ET) Simply wear down Miami like most teams will do. Our defense wins this one for us. 3-2. SUN 10/16 NEW YORK JETS AT BUFFALO 4:15p (ET) This is the one we lose at home this year, that we all think we are gonna win. 3-3 SUN 10/23 BUFFALO AT OAKLAND 1:15p (PT) Oakland is the most improved team in the league. West Coast. Black Hole, rookie QB. Nuff said. 3-4 SUN 10/30 BUFFALO AT NEW ENGLAND 8:30p (ET) Primetime. We get closer, but no way. 3-5 SUN 11/6 BYE SUN 11/13 KANSAS CITY AT BUFFALO 1:00p (ET) JP can't score enough to beat KC no matter where it is. KC is improved and takes Denver's spot in the playoffs 3-6 SUN 11/20 BUFFALO AT SAN DIEGO 1:15p (PT) See Oakland, except they don't have to improve. They won't be as good, but they still are a good football team. 3-7 SUN 11/27 CAROLINA AT BUFFALO 1:00p (ET) This is one that we win in bad weather. 4-7 SUN 12/4 BUFFALO AT MIAMI 1:00p (ET) Two in a row feels good, and we start to think JP isn't a bad pickup after all. 5-7 SUN 12/11 NEW ENGLAND AT BUFFALO 1:00p (ET) Here is the game New England isn't supposed to lose, but they do lose to us. Our Superbowl. 6-7 SAT 12/17 DENVER AT BUFFALO 8:30p (ET) A jacked up Ralph to get to .500 doesn't matter. Denver is in the hunt for post-season play and edge a gritty effort by us. 6-8 SAT 12/24 BUFFALO AT CINCINNATI 1:00p (ET) Carson Palmer is leading the Bengals to a nice year. 6-9 SUN 1/1 BUFFALO AT NEW YORK JETS 1:00p (ET) With Pennington hurt late, like always, the Bills get some mo for 2006. 7-9
  4. LOL, this is the best part about this thread. For the life of me, I couldn't think of clique, and even almost spelled it cliche. lol So, I just went with click, cuz I knew everyone would understand. This was seriously bugging me, so thanks! I'm not kidding!
  5. No offense here John but if your kid is that good, I've never seen a coach who wouldn't put that kid on the field. The way you talk, and I've seen you do this before, is that your kid seems to make some kind of spectacular play every time he's in the game or practice period. Red Flags go up here immediately. The seriousness that you take observing this kid at only a pee wee level is kind of disturbing. Most of the time, kids have no idea what they are doing, and are just running around crashing into each other. But you are actually explaining things he is doing like your breaking down an NFL show. #2, I probably think your kid is getting screwed, and that your view of your own kid is also off. So, the problem is somewhere in the middle most likely. Most likely, your kid is getting the shaft for not being in a click, and he's also not as good as you think he is. Most of the time, that's what really goes on. The only reason I wrote this, is because I see both sides.....I'm an assistant director of a Parks and Rec Dept, and also am a high school coach, with NO kids on any teams. Bottom line is this.......you say your kid is actually that good.......you also say you are at every practice.........you also say you know a ton about football........this seems simple to me........coach next year, and quit making excuses. All youth leagues need coaches....no better way to throw in another voice for the kids who aren't in clicks and should be on field.
  6. Sauerbrun is one of the biggest jackass A-holes in the NFL. Yeah, he is a punter but he's a major !@#$. I roomed with another punter, Brad Maynard who plays for the Bears now. In college Maynard was awesome, so much so, that he was the MAC player of the year his senior year. No sh-it, Sauerbrun, then at West Virginia, actually got Maynards phone number and called him and said there's no way he deserves to be an all American. Maynard didn't even know him. Then, when Maynard was going to be drafted, Sauerbrun called him again, saying that there's no way he'd be considered better than Sauerbrun. Maynard was rumored to be the highest drafted punter ever, and it got under Sauerbruns skin I guess. Sauerbrun is a total tool. And I can't think of anyone I'd love to see get busted more than him. What a jackass the guy is! True Story!
  7. Anyone, anyone. Is this a rumor, or is it real? Anybody?
  8. Is this a rumor or is it confirmed?
  9. Man, what a bunch of morons the NHL has become. Here's a friggin newsflash, ENFORCE the fuggin rules, and go to the international size ice. Bingo, problem solved. So fuggin dumb. Changing the nets leads to other kinds of circus type fixes. Garbage idea!
  10. Get it! Whiteboy gettin it! LOL
  11. How the hell could anyone even think we have stayed the same? Unreal. Cutting Bledsoe was fine with me. But, we will probably be a little worse, especially at first with JP. We lost our best offensive lineman. Period. And to make up for that, we currently, as we stand now, have to shift other guys out of position to cover losing our best lineman. And we probably lost our best defensive lineman. And if Pat wasn't our best, he was 1b, with Adams being 1a. It's complete homerism to think we are as good, because we aren't. We are in need of SERIOUS upgrades on offense. Especially with a rookie QB. You need to surround a rookie with an upgraded offense. So, we, so far, and I stress so far, are worse on the line, horrible and terribly unathletic at TE, and everything else is the same. The only upside is that McGahee and Evans should continue to get better, while Moulds will probably start to get worse now that he is aging. A good back can only do so well, behind a pourous O-Line! On defense, our strength, we have lost a quality player. Big time. We've also lost a good special teams player in Pierson. Of course, we have taken a step back for now. And why the cap is such a fuggin mystery is beyond me. The only thing I can think of is that TD is trying to keep it quiet, because he hasn't done JACK this off-season, and he doesn't want everyone to know that we are X number of dollars under the cap that he isn't spending. As a season ticket holder, this is a VERY disappointing off-season so far.
  12. OK, why doesn't that link work? I feel the need to email this clown. Who has a link to this story, so I can get this moron's email addy? I checked the LA Times, but coudln't find the article. Anyone, anyone?
  13. Nice Job. It's amazing that almost, and I stress almost, every amateur out there who redesigns our uniforms, do a better job of anyone did at One Bills Drive. These designs, any of them that you created, would be a huge upgrade over the crap we have now, especially our current white ones!
  14. Ball State University - Class of 96
  15. WRONG. David Terrell trains at the same place in Richmond where my boss is a personal trainer. Terrell has some serious, serious character issues. He's a flat out jerk, and always has been. My boss has been telling me this for 3 years. David Terrell can take his services elsewhere. When he gets over himself, maybe he'll work harder and actually become a decent WR.
  16. I hear ya. I hope you make it, outside of Ball State of course. I always root for the MAC in the tourney, no matter who gets in. I'm also pretty versed at MAC history when it comes to this thing! Good Luck!
  17. I posted that yesterday, and there's no way in hell UB gets anywhere near a #10 seed if they get in. Also, that doesn't include the last three years in which the MAC even has more success. Kent State's run to the Elite Eight isn't indicated in what you posted. The MAC is actually down this year. It was also down from what it normally is last year too. UB simply doesn't have any big time wins to get them that seed. They also have no tournament history, and they won't be the conference champs. NO WAY IN HELL would they be #10. Matter of fact, if UB doesn't win the MAC but wins the MAC auto qualifier, they would most likely be #13. It's just how it goes. Again though, that is a good thing. You guys are new to this I can tell. You have to think, a few years ago (2002), Ball State was a 20 win MAC team, with victories over UCLA, Kansas, and Butler. They also, just before halftime, was leading Duke. They had the Duke lead in single digits for much of the second half, before bowing out late, and that didn't get them in the NCAA tourney. UCLA, Kansas and Duke were all in the top 10. It's a tough spot to be in, but IF you can sneak in, MAC teams usually are the one's to do some damage.
  18. The top three teams in the MAC get a bye into the Quarterfinal Round of Eight teams. The other teams, who are seeded 4-13 battle it out on campus sites to see who advances to the Quarterfinal Round of Eight. In the first round, seeds 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 get home games on campus sites. This will produce 5 winners who then move on with the top three seeds to make 8 teams advancing to the quarters. Then, it's on to Cleveland for some pretty good basketball!
  19. There's no way in hell they will get a #10 seed. That is a good thing. And on top of that, hell will freeze over before they get a higher than #10 seed. And this is good. Trust me, as an avid follower of the MAC, you hope for the #12 seed. There have been MUCH MUCH better teams in previous years from the MAC, and they have gone in as twelve seeds. What cracks me up is that people get infatuated with being like an 8 or 9 seed. Those are the worse seeds in the tourney, because #1 awaits you in the next round. The best place to be is right around #12. To advance to the round of 32, you'd have to basically beat a #20-25 ranked team in the country, and then do it again to get to the round of 16. This is usually why #12 seeds win. You have all of these under-rated conference champs who match up with a bottom tier top-25 team who is probably only ranked based on reputation. Relax about seeds.....I know for a fact that the MAC usually gets a #12 seed, or somewhere close to that out of respect. The MAC usually does well in the NCAA's. IF UB gets in, you hope to be seeded 12.
  20. Yeah, it's off if that happens! He must START at least 14 games. He probably won't and we'll both be off the hook. But if he does, then it kicks in! Good Luck!
  21. I love the MAC, so here's a bit more, to get UB fans juices goin a little..... Since 1989.......all of these teams have won one or more games in the tourney and their seeds......... 1989 - #9 Ball State 1990 - #12 Ball State 1991 - #12 Eastern Michigan 1995 - #12 Miami 1996 - #9 Eastern Michigan 1998 - #11 Western Michigan 1999 - #10 Miami 2001 - #13 Kent 2002 - I believe Kent - not sure - have to confirm 2003 - I belive Central Michigan - not sure - have to confirm These all include wins over teams such as.....Pitt, Oregon State, Louisville, Ole Miss, Penn State, Arizona, DUKE, Clemson, Washington, Utah, Indiana, and I'm not sure about 2002, and 2003. 2002 though, is when Kent went to the Elite Eight! STAY EXCITED MAC BROTHER, it's nothing new!
  22. Nah, $100 is good. That way is should be realistically payable from either end! Oh, good luck!
  23. One last bump for STOJAN to make good on his chickenshit words. So Stoj.......are you gonna put your money where your mouth is???
  24. Duey.....you're excitement is warranted. See, most of these igmos who spout off at the mouth all day, really, most of the time, have no idea what they are talking about by ripping the Bulls and the MAC. You see, unlike most "mid-majors", the MAC is truly a special one. I went to Ball State in the 90's. The same Ball State that went to the sweet sixteen twice, and lost to eventual champion UNLV by 2 in the round of 16. By the way, we missed a three pointer at the buzzer to win the game off of the front of the rim. Not that I'm necessarily saying I think UB is all that good, the MAC is RICH in winning games in the tourney. As a matter of fact, if any of these morons ripping you would know, the MAC champ is as good a bet to make it to the S-16 as any other Mid-major. Since 1990, the MAC has sent a team to the sweet sixteen 7 of 15 years. They have also appeared in the Elite Eight, when Kent State made it a few years ago. And it's not just one team either. Many teams have done it including Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Ohio U, Miami, Kent. They also have several more teams that has one at least one game. The MAC isn't a conference that once in while wins a tourney game, and then they live on that rep for 25 years. It happens often for many teams in the MAC. So, rest assured, that if UB can get in, which I doubt, they have more than a good shot at doing damage. By the way, don't B word about seeds. It's best to go in somewhere in the 12 th seed range. That way, you'll most likely play a team in the bottom half of the Top 25 in the first two rounds. A 12th seed, or somewhere in that range is the way to go! Hang in there, GO Ball State, and GO MAC!
  25. So STOJ.....come on man....... Let's make the bet! 1-12, you win, 13 and up I win......14 or more starts!
