I am wondering if that is his girlfriend - OR - maybe not his girlfriend, which is why he deleted the whole account.

LOL - I was just thinking that the other day, but your forgot one. "Don't forget to put your leftovers in the fridge or you will die of food poisoning".

Chip Kelly HC! (possibly for the Browns)
ACor58 replied to 13player's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They also share an agent with Jim Harbaugh, and he wouldn't even take the Bills phone call. -
He also forgot to mention that the county owns the stadium. This is not the same as Jery Jones, Daniel Snyder, or the Steinbrenners getting a tax payer hand out.

[closed]Decoding Thurman Thomas
ACor58 replied to TheKickIsGood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thurman has pulled this BS before - it is probably nothing -
So do I - but I guess I was not offended by his statement, perhaps I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. What cannot be understated is that society, as a whole, has changed for the worse. Do you know that we have averaged a mass shooting every 4 months since 2005. Think about that for a second. Everyone is looking for answers - some think the answer is more religion, some think the answer is more government, and I will be the first to tell you that I have no answers. One thing is certain - the toothpaste is out of the bottle and its not going back in.

You summed it up right there. However, I don't think his intent was dumb, but the message will not resonate with everyone, only those that believe in a higher power. Replace God with "humility, compassion, or love". Some members of society seem to be de-sensitized to the value of human life. Be it violent movies, violent video games, texting, twitter, etc., the emotional connections are have become sterile.

Prediction - Kirk Cousins lights it up today
ACor58 replied to ACor58's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First off - it amazes me how angry people are on this board, especially some of the newer posters. The point of my post was not that Cousins is the second coming of Tom Brady, but here are a few facts. - The Bills had Cousins in for multiple visits, more than any other team. - When the Bills took Nigel Bradham, Buddy cam right out and said that the guy the thought would be there wasn't - i.e. Cousins. So here we are, 3rd year of ChaNix and we don't have a QB. Not a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd stringer. -
And Buddy will look stupid for not taking Cousins, a guy they really liked, in the 3rd round and instead reached for Roscoe 2.0 - without the return ability.

Andy has said that he really likes it here and his girlfiend is from Buffalo - which might make it easier to kepp him. She is also an aspiring reporter, so she could see him as her ticket out of here as well.

Tashard Choice "not a great back" according to Gailey
ACor58 replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not our first "Choice" at running back. -
Nix: Patience fans, patience (sorry, no Jay Rosen quotes)

Why can't he just say - we never thought that Washington was going to take Cousins, who we really liked. We got caught with our pants down. -
Not sure. Sounds like Urbik is moving to C and Snow will be playing RG.

Anyone that is crapping all over Kirk Morrison should go take a look at his twitter feed. He is a stand up class guy.

I meant to include Jacksonville in that group. I watch plenty of games, which makes it that much more frustrating. Thanks for taking time off of your duties as GM of some NFL franchise to to point that out. I am probably biased because I watched a lot of Wisconsin football last year and I am convinced that he is going to be an excellent QB. I can't argue with your stats, but I wish that we had him. I am not saying that Alex Smith is elite by any means, but we are talking about Fitz here. The Bills would be better off with Alex Smith. He doesn't turn the football over nearly as much as Fitz - never has.
-
Not even close. If the Bills had any one of those three QBS we would be talking about the playoffs.

This debate needs to stop. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a back-up that is capable of putting up very good numbers in a pass happy offense when it plays bad defenses. He falls somewhere between 30 and 32 on my list. In fact, the only worse situations right now: Arizona (Skelton, Kolb, other guy) Jets (Sanchez, McAlroy) The super rookies (RG3, Luck, Wilson) are in a class by themself. The other young guys Locker and Cam Newton, and rookies (Wheeden, Tanehill, etc.) still need a little more time to determine. All have showed promise in limited NFL careers and will mos likely be better than Fitz.

Not too negative, sounds like the 2007 draft: 49ers pick 11th, and get Patrick Willis in the 1st round and we get stuck with Lynch at 12. (of course that was the year that the Jets took Revis at 14)
