Cleveland is only 2 1/2 hrs form B-Lo, so its a possibility. What do you think about Cox on the radio? I can't say that he is terrible but he does not pair well with Meyers, who I think is pretty good.

We are not in a college lecture hall, we are on a message board. This type of thing happens on most if not all message boards, especially one like this where almost everyone has an opinion. What I am saying is asking people to read an entire thread before they add a post, while practical, is never going to happen. Starting this thread would be like starting a thread suggesting that the Bills trade for Ben Rothlisberger and have 4 pages worth of responses. Everyone would chime in with their ideas and ways to make it work but in the end it will never happen.

It is a freaking message board. All message boards are like this. Some people come on here to read but most people com here to post and have their posts replied to. Are you really that bored that you have to start a post with common sense rules that will never be followed?

I think that we can afford to have an inexperienced DC cut his teeth under Juron. We have a veteren defense and a head coach with a defensive background. I am sure that DJ and Marevlous were very thorough in the interview process, seems like it could be a solid hire.

The Bills might not publicly discuss salaries but agents sure do. Since Juron is very involved in the hiring proces I am sure that he will have an inkling or two on how much they offer Jim Bates. Perhaps they could sweeten the deal by giving him a little less than Juron and an assistant HC title, like they did when they brought LeBeau in to help Sir-Blitz-A-Lot Jerry Gray.

If anything, ushering out the "new unis" would be a nice way to help us forget about the Tom Donahoe era. There is something about the traditional Red, White, and Blue that I think most of us like. Very Blue Collar, very American. The new jerseys look black and I am pretty sure they were designed by the guy who designed the uniforms for Jet Blue... seriously.

For starters he is the best DC available. He worked wonders with a young and injured Pack D last year. Prior to that, he was the reason that Miami's defenses were so damn good all those years. After Wandstadt was fired during the 2004 season he took over as interim HC. They won 3 of their last 6 games including a HUGE win over the Patriots. Quite an accomplishment when you consider the situation the Phins were in last year. Many of the Dolphins players were lobbying for Bates to get the HC job before Saban was hired. We would be very fortunate to land him.

Of course it didn't help that their defense sucked and they were playing from behind most of the time. They gave up 38 pts to the Cards, 33 to the Texans, 27 to the Vikes, and 24 to the Niners, all of whom had less than stellar offenses.

I read that post as well and it definitely gave me a better feeling about Fairchild.

I know that he has aspirations of becoming a coach after he retired and I know that Jim Kelly was quoted more than once saying that AVP would make a great coach someday.

Maybe Alex Van Pelt can call the plays when he is doing the radio broadcasts with Murph.

I think that a lot of Bills fans, myself included, would be up in arms since we have a lot more pressing needs at OL and DL.

Cutler has drawn comparisons to Favre. I know another college QB that drew comparisons to Favre and we have him. If J.P is provided with some stability I think that he has what it takes to be successful.
