    The reason people don't like Fewell is 4 years of mediocre to downright crappy defenses. When Fewell is on the open market after the season is over, does anybody really think that teams with HC vacancies will have him on their short list of candidates? The clock management at the end of the half vs. the Jets should be reason alone to disqualify him from contention.

    Fewell has been the coordinator of mediocre to outright poor defenses the past four years. Barely beating a sad sack KC team can't wipe this away, especially in light of embarrassing late-game defensive collapses vs. Dallas and New England. Some else said it best in a previous thread: Give him a pat on the back, thank him for his service, and show him the door.

    Really?? Gregg Williams insisted this?? I seriously doubt Gregggo had any input whatsoever regarding how the uniforms looked, especially to make them look like his previous team. The 1980 uniforms were the best.

    You do know only one of those players was a top 5 pick (Williams), right? And only one other (Whitner) was a top 10? One was a 2nd, one was a 3rd. So you're saying the Bills shouldn't pick until the 4th round?

    Felser is not a reporter, he's a columnist offering his opinion on what should be done. Not sure what the confusion is about this.

    Anybody who thinks the defense will suddenly come to life this week has to remember: Fewell has been on the sidelines coaching the D the last 4 years. If he hasn't been getting in the D's face all that time, how is being HC gonna change anything? If anything, it's the offense that will be under the fire, if Fewell lets them have it on the sidelines. Which I doubt.

    Sorry, Lindy was never "promoted as a temporary thing." Lindy was an assistant coach with the Panthers, and was hired as head coach after the Sabres fired didn't rehire Ted Nolan.

    He will definitely be drafted. My guess is 4th round, with an outside shot at 3rd. Wouldn't mind the Bills taking him if he was still there in the 4th.

    If it was when Jauron was the head coach of the Bears, then it was the 1999 game, which Detroit won 21-17. And Chicago was the visiting team, meaning regardless of how fast the game ended, they would still have to fly back to Chicago. There would be no way they would be home eating dinner by 5pm. The Bears did finish 6-10 that year.
