the problem is they are 50-60 year old men who can't keep up with how fast the game is being played. they were fine for 3 yards and a cloud of dust but not now NHL and Soccer Refs are in their 30s and 40s and can get in position to make the correct call more than likely. full time younger refs with a simpler rule book is the way to go

agreed- way too much of a pain in the a$$ i've gotten spoiled with a dvr and the ticket- watch when i want, start the game an hour late after finishing up yard work etc. fly through the commercials and half time, re-watch key plays in frame by frame slo mo and get caught up with the live feed by midway through the 4th quarter this was unbearable at times it will take a few years for technology to catch up for this to ever be the new business model for the nfl

my only other concern/complaint was i could not rewind/re watch key plays or pause to get a slice of pizza etc. it was like i was back in the 80s running to the bathroom during the commercial breaks

agreed, much more buffering, loss of HD and lost signals in the 2nd half

just got on through 360 as well- about 15 seconds behind the computer feed but nice picture and no buffering. a bit pissed as 1 went and bought a Vizio smart tv with yahoo! and found out this morning that it would not stream through yahoo! for some reason i'll troubleshoot later

tough to see on the replay- I think he just yipped it, lost his mechanics on that one- still very impressed with both EJ and Tyrod I think Tyrod starts the season and EJ finishes it

people love this guy but him getting blown 5 yards into the backfield one on one at the start of half the plays (hyperbole on the half the plays line) is not due to garbage on either side of him - he has lost strength/leverage from all his leg injuries and it shows. he'll do better this year as the scheme can only be designed better than that clusterufck last year- i expect the design will not isolate/expose him like last year did as we return to competent coaching

the key is Eric Wood not getting driven 2 yards into the backfield at the start of every play. i understand he is a fan favorite but i'm not sure what scheme has to do with him getting pancaked way too much. that penetration destroys everything except a sweep. if he can hold up this year we will be much improved.
