joan jett opened for i think the scorpions at the aud in the early 80s- she was so bad that during her i love rock n roll chorus of 'yea oh yea' everyone was giving her the finger in unison screaming 'you fock you'
SRV followed by Jerry
i saw SRV at darien right before he died- stood right in front of him a couple rows from the stage- best concert ever- i was driving on the 290 from NF back to buffalo when i heard he dies- man did that suck
i appreciate Jerry more now that he is gone than when i saw the dead- i was more of a Bob Weir guy-Jerry died the day my nephew Billy was born
rib-eye has the most flavour medium rare!
start with french onion soup
then Caesar salad
the the rib eye with a baked potato
finish with creme brulee or cheesecake
cab or Shiraz or a big Italian red- no Merlot: too gay and pinot noir is a little too light for a good steak
I'll do it again. this will be my 10th year
it's just so much easier than heading to a bar especially with little kids
it' definitely a must this year with all games Sunday at 1 Eastern - nothing will be on National TV
man, I'd rather have us do this right and get both lines and the line backers straightened out this year and then get the QB- i could live with Brohm or Fitzy for a year but please let's not make the fans suffer through another year of glove boy
you have to order extra crispy outside of Buffalo- i tell the guy- when you think they are done - leave them in an extra minute and then they will be done right
Wow- tough crowd
my wife and i saw Spamalot & Wicked and loved them both
took the kids to the Lion King and they liked it so much we drove 2 hours to Milwaukee to see it again a year later. we'll see it a 3rd time in Madison in the spring.
We both agree that 'Phantom' and 'Cats' are for theatre snobs- don't go if you can avoid it
saw 'Rent' several years ago and never really figured out what was going on- i think it was about an AIDS victim
