I wuz just thinkin about this. Actually, November 14th would be 12 weeks from JP's injury. They originally said 8-12 weeks. Now, I'm pretty sure they won't feed JP to the Patriots on November 14. However, if Mularkey continues to show that he's got no balls and keeps on playing Bledsoe, after the Nov. 14 game the Bills are going to be 2-7 or 3-6. And by this time, the stadium seats are going to be empty because the Bills fate has been determined (after Nov. 14 they have only one divisional game left to play, Miami). And because their fate is sealed (will have won only 1 game in the division by then) the only thing they can do to put fans in the stadium seats is to make a major change to get the restless natives excited again. Enter, JP Losman So mark down November 21 on your calendar... the potential debut of JP Losman at home against the Rams... and consider this: With JP under center, the Bills could conceivably run the table and end up winning 9 or 10 games and still not make the playoffs because of their losses within the division. The Donahoe sharade has been exposed... and JP is the only one that can save Teflon Tom from the wrath of Ralph's machete. Will JP salvage our dignity as Bills fans? Stay tuned.

Since this team is headed for 0-4, under what circumstances will you bench Bledsoe in favor of Matthews and/or JP Losman?

The combination of a bad QB which "hancuffs" the offense plus, what appears to be a suspect defense, is gonna do in the Bills in this week... and likely the two following games. Oh and two? schoebel gets sacks mostly on hustle... no team is scared of him... I've never known him to command a double team... Kelsay... i don't know... but if you held a gun to my head, my take is ... I see Kelsay and Schoebel are close to the same thing... just play on opposite ends. I don't know of too many white DEs (and I'm not being racist here), but the good ones seem to be African-American But the bottom line is... no way would I consider these two guys as a top 5 tandem. At best I'd grade them average. The Bills get no consistent sacks from either of these guys. I gauge an upper tier DE on the play of guys like Jason Taylor, Mike Strahan, Gregg Ellis, Dwight Freeney, Jevon Kearse... These guys are at the top of the scouting chart and usually the first thing brought up when their opposition game plans. No way either Schobel and Kelsay can be considered in that company... at least not yet. I think Sean Moran is comparable.

why would it matter? Sometimes we complicate things way too much. What it comes down to is can the Bills boys in the trenches beat Oaklands Boys in the trenches on both sides of the line. The team that wins the battle at the line of scrimmage wins 85% of the time... the only other real variables are field position, special teams play and turnovers. So if we break this game down to Oakland's O-line versus the Bills D-Line, I come up with advantage Oakland. And Bills O-Line vs. Oakland's D-line, I say advantage Oakland because of Sapp and Big Ted... two all pros vs. no all pros on the Bills Oline.

I like your thinking. However, if there is some team's GM that is stupid enough to... 1) want Bledsoe and then 2) willing to give something in exchange for him, I say... fire that GM immediately... he is totally incompetent.
