true... that can be said... but on the other hand, where are our 4th Q comebacks. There was a time in Bills annals... when the Bills QB could be counted on in "crunch" time... ie, Kelly, reich, and flutie. Asking a QB that is paid $6M to "LEAD" this team is not asking too much... but, Bledsoe has demonstrated that he can't deliver... So, when it comes time to stand up and be counted you can always count on Bledsoe to be the Bills "sweet little air ball at the buzzer". Indy, GB, Pats, to name a few have QBs that rise to the occaision in crunch time and take their team on their shoulders. When was the last time Bledsoe did that? Well, don't look for it... even against the worst defensive team in the league and playing at home, if the bills were behind by 4 with 2:20 remaining, the ball on their own 45 and all three time outs left, I guarantee you bledsoe whiffs.... the guys around him know he can't do it and we know he can't do it... now all Bledsoe needs to do is admit it and retire.

All of you out of staters that have left the region need to be brought up to speed. First off, it's not Giambra... I commend him for what he's attempting to do. What's happened over the past 8 years is that the state has cut their costs by passing their costs on to the counties. Well, that works in Westchester County where you have lots of income. But it flat out sucks in upstate where you have a depressed economy, dimished tax base, too much welfare, and noemedicaid payments that are just damn unfair...add to that school budgets that the resident taxpayers bear almost all of the burden and it's just killing us... as an example of this... in Cortland County, in 1994 my home was assesed for 149K and my total taxes for town, county, school were $2900 per year. Today, working off the same assessed value, they are $7200/year. I guarantee you my income hasn't doubled in that timeframe. And now they are going through the process of reasssment and they're sure to go up, because I've installed a new kitchen, windows, roof, entrance way in the past 3 years. The problem is at the state level. The most powerful man in NYS is Sheldon Silver... a NYC politician and he heads up the Democrat side of the state legilature. His republican conterpart is Jim Bruno. Both are corrupt bastard thugs that have done nothing but raped this state. Giambra is saying enough is enough to these bastards. He's saying if you want to mandate that this county must fund medicaid, welfare, etc. then OK, we'll fund them, but there aint no money for anything else so see how you like that and how are you going to look in Albany when you've chosen this over public safety? So, there you have it... NYS is fugged up. It will take a situation like california where the voters are going to take down the governor. that might not be a bad idea... but until Silver and Bruno are taken away in handcuffs and sumarily executed, this state will continue to go down the drain. I've got 5 more years to consider an early retirement... I've already made my decision... I'm outta here in 2009... and then I'm headed to near Rehobeth, Delaware... over the next year I'm laying the groundwork.

Remind us again Why the Bills are paying him $6M/year???
-
dude... this is because no one is "from" Miami, they're just transplanted there. NY State is the breeding ground for everyone to grow up and be educated. Then they move out of state and follow the money, jobs, and wherever taxes are less than NYS (which is everywhere else). So the big party night is because everyone is COMING HOME.... so it's party time. get your ass home.

Dude... this just in.... a twelve year veteran that makes $6M per year is supposed to do "WELL" week in and week out. I don't expect him to duplicate Peyton Mannings performance, but I do expect him to put up better numbers that Grampa Testeverde... and he clearly is not. there are at least 20 QBS that show better numbers than him. WTF are the Bills paying him $6M to do? Can't we get the same performance level from a 6 or 7 year vet that maks 1/5 of what Bledsoe makes? Or better yet... how about we pay $6M/year for a real QB.

Help us understand the game. I'm going to help you put things in their proper context. Bledsoe puts up good numbers at home against one of the NFL's worst defenses. Not only that, the Rams were without two starters in their secondary going into the game, then lose two more in their secondary.... My expectation of a 12 year veteran QB being paid $6M/yr would be to "light that secondary up" and he clearly did not. I can clearly see you give more credit to bledsoe for doing what he's paid to do and less credit for a special teams unit that accounted for 17 points and a defense that came up with 2 turnovers inside the Bills 10 yard line to prevent Rams scores. So, what don't we understand about the game?

My monthly plea to have the stevestojan
DeeRay replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you ought to be glad. Every time I go out to a club, chicks are all over me asking me how I know this guy " stevestojan ". I keep telling them your one of my best buddies and they can't wait to meet you.... I just keep stringing them along... I know their game... once I introduce them to you, they won't even give me the time of day. -
I must say... when I saw this post, I blew coffee all over the monitor and keyboard. I laughed so goddamn hard it was even coming out my nose.... and if I hadn't run to the john quickly, I'd have soiled my drawers too. Many thanks for the great humor on a Monday morning... this makes my week. Anyway, what the f_ck is "VINTAGE BLEDSOE"?????????????? This is Drew's 12th season in the league. When you say "vintage bledsoe" are you taking his best 3 seasons or what? He's only been above an 80 QB rating 4 times in his NFL life... and his career rating is 76.6, which is five points below Jeff George's career rating. My vision of "vintage bledsoe" is totally the opposite of yours.... I mean, last Sunday night vs. New England... Now, that was "Vintage Bledsoe"!!!!!!!!!

There is way more fight on this board than there is in the Bills ... "on" or "off" the field. maybe Sam Adams tirsde earlier this year wasn't such a bad thing... and maybe Ruben Brown's tirade from last year wasn't such a bad thing. Damn... the good ole days when you' hear the stories about Kelly/Thomas.... Reed/Smith.... the fight between Bresnahan and Nicolau... thems was the days

This whole thing is a mess. I have my own ideas why we're there... I think after 9/11 it is logical to assume that with saddam's presence, there was (if there already wasn't) going to be some sort of alliance (covert or otherwise) with Saddam and AlQaida. I mean he was already aiding and abetting hamas homicide bombers and their families as well as giving sanctuary to Abu Nidal. The whole world knew that the economic and industrial viability hinged on the middleast stability. With China, Japan, India, the US, Russia, and Europe all becoming more globlized economically and all competeing for the same oil supply, the middleast had to be stablized. But, the three big players in this... germany, france, and russia saw this as an opportunity to take care of themselves and "stick it to the US" by bedding down with saddam... oil for money. And scumbag Putin will use the terrorist card when it's good for him to use it and only then. So basically, the US is in Iraq for ecomic reasons as well as 9/11. Everyone remembers the economic losses we suffered from that single event and we will be paying for it for years to come... 9/11 is the single most world defining event of my lifetime... and if a similar incident like it happens to us again, we are really going to be in sad shape as a country. Suffice to say...I thank your nephews and friends for being there. In defending this country's ideals we shed a lot of blood. we didn't have to go into Europe and liberate those countries from Germany... the only issue we had to address was with Japan over Pearl Harbor and leave it at that. What would today's world be like if we hadn't helped Europe? We tend to look only at the moment and not 10-25 years down the road. God Bless

Holy crap! I forgot all about Moorman. And you're right... he has got to be the odds on favorite to be presented with the Bills MVP trophy. Chalk one up for the Teflon man. -

I know, just think if Greggo or Mularkey would only hire a personal trainer for Drew, a press secretary for him, a five step drop coach, a three step drop coach, a 4 second clock coach, an offensive line of Ogden and Pace at the tackles, Shields and Faneca at guards, and Mawewe at Center. Shockey at TE, Tomlinson at RB, Harrison and Moss at wr with Moulds in the slot... if only they would build the team around him and for him.... he would get better every game. -
another question... will a fight break out between the Bledsoe apologists (all 24 of them) and the Bledsoe bashers?
-
I'm scanning the roster... aside from London Fletcher and Takeo Spikes, and I'm probably treading on thin ice mentioning those two,... but I don't see anyone besides those two that the Teflon man has brought in that's really done much... Sam Adams? good game/bad game... and not an every down player Coy Wire? WTF Reed? WTF Bledsoe? no need to go there Pucillo?, Posey ? (or is it Rosey?), Reese, Vincent, Prileau, Aiken, Fat mike, Villarial, Teague, Jennings (who I rank somewhere between 22-32 at his position), Denney, Schobel, Clements, and on and on.... Greggo? Mularkey? I mean, there isn't one of those players/coaches mentioned that hasn't been consitently abused over the past several games. Any of the players on the current roster really "float your boat"? McGahee?? roughly 3 yds/touch... is that good? I know, I know... he shows promise. When is the "promise" going to be kept, though? or willl it ever? Even Ladanian lit it up with a lesser supporting cast... and ain't Willis supposed to be in that class? A potential top fiver if he hadn't gotten injured? How does Teflon Tom get way with it? How much can this guy whiff and still keep his job? When does the light go on for the 60,000 or so Ralph regulars? What's it going to take for them to say enough is enough? Now all he needs to do is get rid of Moulds and Pat Williams to burn the last bridge to the Butler era. What do I think? Well, the AD at Syracuse is retiring. Perhaps Donahoe join Syracuse and take a mediocre football program and return it to respectability by turning it into a Division III Powerhouse.... start a new conference with Cortland State, Ithaca, Brockport, Hobart, and Union, maybe let Colgate in.... what do think?

sorry guys... plain and simple guys Mr info is right.. the HP is a better deal straight up and the upgrade to ram being cheap.... NOT!! most laptops have to stick slots. If you have 256 k ram and want go up to 512, you've got to get read of your pair of 128s and buy a new pair of 256s besides, I'm good friends with a dude that owns a computer store and repair shop. He's also an authorized dell repairman. His take is that Dells are POS, but he loves them and the $$$ forof all the repair jobs he gets.

my prediction is that Drew will get booed out of the house.

1) I would rather address Teflon Tom first. The rest will fall into place. 2) Posey? Who is he? Does he play for the Bills?

Great time to start a FA rookie at free safety
DeeRay replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes... it should have been done a long time ago... and, likewise, Bledsoe should have been benched in favor of Matthews. This coaching staff does not appear to have a clue.... and the front office is actually worse... we all knew there were big holes to fill at the end of the season at DE, FS, CB, OL, and QB.... Reese is a carreer journeyman at best. Bledsoe... I'm just dumbfounded that they would re- up him, let alone lay out that kind of cash to re-sign him... Mr. Wilson ought to encourage his front office not to piss away his money. Donahoe is a complete disgrace... In my mind he is the worst GM in Bills history... even worse than Terry Bledsoe ( and, yes... somehere there must be lineage to Drew... just gotta be).
