Can you imagine the jets locker room. They fire Saleh who was holding the defense together but Hackett gets to make a million a year getting Rodgers his coffee and basically just goof around with his drinking buddy in Rodgers 😂 What a clown car -

That would be a huge mistake. Without Watson they will get absolutely smoked similar to the jags game if they just man up. Conner and Johnson won't be able to keep up. They don't have Sneed or Watson anymore. Their corner play last year was the main reason they won the super bowl, along with a bunch of bills starters getting hurt in the Miami/ Steelers game -
The 70s dolphins 70s cowboys 70s Steelers were all legitimate dynasties The Vikings were extremely close in the 70s The la rams had really really good teams. The 80s Washington team had 4 super bowl appearances in 9 years but with different QBs The 80s 49ers obviously. One could argue with the 85 bears if McMahon doesn't get hurt all the time or buddy Ryan stays longer. The 90s 49ers were extremely close with Dallas and so was buffalo. Green Bay was very close too There is usually room pre and post free agency changes in 1994 for 2 dynasty level teams per decade and 2-3 other teams that would be close

Id rather we just beat them completely in the playoffs and it's just obvious we are more talented and skilled. Similar to the 89 49ers

Which Bills team is the 24 Bills most similar to assuming we win the super bowl? 1996 Packers 1990 buffalo bills 1976 raiders 2010 Packers 2018 Patriots 2022 chiefs 2023 chiefs 2011 Giants 2008 Steelers 2015 broncos 1987 Washington 1988 49ers 2006 colts 1974 Steelers 1977 cowboys I personally see the 1996 Packers and 08 Steelers I don't think the narrative matters. I think buffalo is better and that will be abundantly clear Sunday at 7pm. The media can ignore it but it will be obvious 🤮🤮🤮🤮 -
I don't agree with this In 1988 when Kelly was 28, their was numerous young ascending talented football players that hadn't fully blossomed like this team. The past 3 drafts have been excellent. Rousseau may not be Bruce but could be a Charles Mann or Sean Jones Charles Haley level player. He's dominating ppl on the regular

I agree. I just think the psychology is different compared to in January But like I said I think buffalo is going to beat KC pretty soundly. It's going to get ugly for KC. -

Because it's just a preamble or something to that effect. The seeding is important but buffalo has been down this road a million times. What buffalo hasn't been is fully healthy in a playoff run. The closest was 21 and the 13 seconds game. Even then we lost our all pro CB. What matters is ending the chiefs dynasty in Jan. Not now. All that being said I think buffalo is the best team in the NFL and it's going to get ugly for KC Baltimore struggles in a major way vs KC too. It's a different history, and different context Buffalo and KC are mirrors to each other with the only separation being one has rings, the other doesn't. That's it -

Both teams are not going to go all out. Both teams will hold something back. Obviously you want to win but again it's just for seeding. It's also two teams that have nothing to really prove to each other. It's going to come down to who wins in January -
If the bills win the super bowl the person I'll be most happy for is McDermott. I know we can be tough on him but he's such a great leader and good person. He's one of the good ppl in life that deserves a championship I have forgiven him for 13 seconds and hope he's our coach like Landry was for Dallas

Von Miller was signed for this game. Rousseau/ Epenesa and Oliver drafted for this game -
Remember when Allen in the 13 seconds game was screaming getting his defense fired up after scoring the TD. It was like frickin Brady firing everyone up. I get goosebumps thinking about it 😂

I think Von Miller, Rousseau, Oliver, Epenesa, Jefferson, Jones and Phillips are going to absolutely wreak havoc on the KC oline. Especially at ot Their wrs won't be able to consistently get open and their RB room isn't talented enough to beat Bernard and Williams/ Taron in space. Buffalo on offense is going to pick on their lbs and pick on Conner/ Johnson. Losing Watson was big for them Chip Chris Jones and we'll get a big lead imo -
For the first time since 2020 buffalo can afford to rest guys. I firmly believe that KC resting everyone in the last game and buffalo losing Benford, Gabe and Bernard kept us from winning the Superbowl. McDermott has to be smart and realize that opportunity. You could realistically get the 3 seed and throttle down and still most likely play two home playoff games possibly. That's why this game is weird and kinda just a preamble to the real thing

When Allen wins the world championship, ppl will finally understand how great he is. Allen has the most tds in NFL history for any player or position in his first 6 years If you took out all of Allen's rushing production, he still tied Peyton Manning in passing touchdowns in his first 6 years but with like 30 less interceptions.. Allen has the second most tds in NFL playoff history for a QB in his first ten playoff games He simultaneously has the lowest int percentage in NFL playoff history and the 3rd LEAST amount of turnovers in NFL playoffs history for a QB in his first ten playoff games At age 28 Allen has already tied him Kelly in playoff passing touchdowns... Take a modern contemporary in another great like Lamar Jackson who everyone respects. Since 2020, Allen has almost 100 more tds in the regular season and playoffs since 2020... A frickin 100 lol Allen has the fifth highest passer rating in NFL playoff history Allen has the highest back to back playoff passer rating in NFL history breaking Montanas record in 1989 If you take away Allen's best playoff game And you take away burrow and Lamar worst playoff game Allen still has more passing touchdowns, more total tds, a higher td% , less turnovers, a higher passer rating and qbr, a higher EPA etc Allen right now has more playoff tds than Lamar, burrow, Herbert and Lawrence combined.... Allen is like top 5 all time in regular season win percentage since 2019 Allen is 3-2 vs mahomes since 21 Allen 16 passing touchdowns 1 int Mahomes 11 passing touchdowns 5 int Allen if I'm not mistaken is first or second in 3rd down conversion percentage since 2020. Allen has the most tds in NFL history over any 4 year span ever. From 20-23 Allen was 6 passing tds away from being the first QB in NFL history to have 4 straight years of 35 or more passing touchdowns. Allen could retire today and it would be difficult to not put him in the Hof. The only argument you would have is he didn't win MVP or a super bowl

I don't agree with this although I understand your point. The 70s were extremely close to having 3-4 dynasties. The cowboys and 49ers etc. Manning switching teams in the Brady era etc Tye point I'm saying is, it wouldn't surprise me at all if buffalo won the next two Superbowls and the narrative changed. I think any other opinion is probably underestimating Allen's greatness
-
All valid points. Ppl forget Jordan went through some heart breaking playoff series losses similar to Allen. Jordan in 1990 after losing for the 3rd time to the Great pistons was viewed as this transcendent talent who couldn't win the big one. The narrative shifted greatly when he finally broke through. It's a common journey among the greats... Ppl view Allen as this transcendent talent right now with insane numbers and insane eye test talent but also some ppl are rightfully skeptical if he can capture the brass ring and overcome the greatest at this moment in mahomes. At the time too the Lakers and Celtics were dynastic, so it just depends. I personally believe that Allen is simply too talented to not win minimum two Superbowls. We'll see The 70s raiders went through very similar heartbreaking moments in the playoffs. They beat the back to back champions and formerly undefeated dolphins in 1974 in the infamous " sea of hands game". Ppl call it the greatest game ever and it was on the level of the 13 seconds game... The raiders finally over came the dolphins but then imo had nothing left and lost to the other dynasty in the steel curtain Steelers of 74.... The raiders finally became world champions in 1976 Rip the great John Madden In the Brady era if Manning never got hurt in Indianapolis, I firmly believe he would have had his own 3-5 year run and you would've had two dynastic teams
