Their starting CB Davis has a broken hand too -
Benford, Bernard & Shakir…re-sign all of them?
Kelly to Allen replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes duh -
The cowboys under Landry and Jimmy were an incredible football program. I'm talking all time great. And ever since then it's turning into a literal circus and entertainment sitcom now. It's just not a serious football program anymore. Kinda sad honestly when Gil Brandt used to run things

What did you think of that golf clap by Kelce?
Kelly to Allen replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember watching the bad boy pistons in 91 getting swept by Jordan. They got old and couldn't keep up with mj anymore. That's what Sunday felt like. KC just didn't have the horses and then couldn't stop Allen when it mattered. It's going to be much worse for the chiefs in the playoffs. They're going to get run off the field Yup Knox is literally better right now and I'm being serious -

No, they're not. They've a slightly better oline, although their interior is slightly overrated. The RB room is similar, Kincaid and Laporta are similar but Kincaid has more elite skills. Knox is better than any of the lions other tes. Shakir is a faster version of amon ra. Buffalo has better wrs outside that. Buffalo has a much greater QB who doesn't need a powerful running game to still be great. That has been proven over the years ad nauseum and was proven yet again vs the second best team in the NFL with the chiefs... Buffalo has better edges and can get an organic pass rush. The lions can't without hutch. Buffalo lbs are better especially with Milano back and anzalone hurt. CBS are even but Benford is the best right now and Douglas/ Elam have more experience. Lions have better safety talent -
Woody Johnson suggested benching Rodgers in September

Do they just release Rodgers soon? I understand the cap implications but if you're moving on anyway might as well just admit the mistake now and clean house -

Lions are a really good team, very physical and good balance. Buffalo is a great team with a great QB... -

Woody Johnson is also reportedly telling ulbrich to bench certain players like Tony Adams according to Rich Cimini lol Yup. Once they fired Saleh, ( a well liked players coach on defense) , and kept Hackett. It ultimately fractured the locker room and undermined Rodgers leadership and his integrity. -

Ppl who legitimately thought buffalo wouldn't win this division ( obviously counting health) is just insane. It was always a bizarre Looney toons opinion. I understand ppl have to talk about stuff in the off-season but good lord. Obviously anything can happen, yes there are down years, injury etc but come on. If it was ever even possible to happen it would be last year but Miami got their doors blown off and then still couldn't beat buffalo even when the bills didn't play a good game. -
Joe beningo was texting Saleh last year advice on how to fix the offense LMFAO 😅

Exactly. That game is going to definitely feel like a super bowl preview

2025 Schedule Pretty Much Locked In

20-0 Launch that random ridiculous game into the sun -
Sometimes it's okay to admit the other team or QB is great. Mahomes and Allen are kinda synonymous and it's terrifying to try to stop them especially when it matters. It's like playing chess against someone but they keep pulling out a queen. It's a cheat code

This game reminds me so frickin much of the 1990 game vs the Giants. A running team that's very physical on the road. It was a super bowl preview I think they're going to put a beat down on the lions. -
Something different/special about the 24 Bills
Kelly to Allen replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think our run defense is a vulnerability. Aren't we like 4th in run defense dvoa? Against the best interior oline in the NFL, if you subtract one 17 yard hunt run, ( when we were up 9 in the 4th) The KC rbs avg 3.1 ypc. -

I agree. Considering all the injuries we had, Allen playing bad and on the road. We still almost beat the Texans, a solid playoff team. It's actually a good sign -

No Oliver, no Austin Johnson, no Taron Johnson, no Milano, no Bernard, no rapp, Smoot still rounding into form Shakir was hurt on the first series of the ravens game No Cooper, Coleman inexperienced, Samuel banged up, Allen a little banged up, starting center misses like an entire qtr vs the ravens. ( The entire wr core was basically compromised) Add in early season variance and it happens. If we play Baltimore in the playoffs I think we would blow them out if we are fully healthy Oliver is just now getting healthy btw. You can tell. Same with Daquan Jones. I saw him manhandle Humphrey a few times All time great teams have a couple bad games sometimes. I remember in 91 buffalo hot destroyed by KC 33-6. It was bad. The great Derrick Thomas wrecking the game and Thurman couldn't do anything We then beat KC that year in the playoffs 38-14 I believe. -
Bengals not in the playoffs is weird. Always liked burrow dude is legit

if bass doesn't miss the extra point and Allen didn't throw that bad int, we get 34 points without a decent amount of starters and a game plan that is obviously hiding some stuff. That's pretty good considering that KC defense hasn't allowed 28 plus in 30! games.... KC had won 15 straight and we pretty much controlled that game. We had a couple opportunities to open up the lead too. I think that means something. I see a great team in Buffalo that has had some bad luck in the past. The only time I've ever felt KC was better and I actually had a healthy fear of them was 2020. They were clearly better than us in the AFC championship and that difference in play flipped in 2021. Like I said we've just had some bad luck -
January 26 Orchard Park, NY AFC championship Buffalo 44 🦬 (15-2) KC 20 (14-3) MVP Josh Allen and the bills take the opening kickoff and score in 5 plays. Allen hits Cooper on the first play of the game for 40 yards down to the KC 30. Allen later hits Shakir on a corner route to go up 7-0. On the next series mahomes gets a bad snap and fumbles with buffalo getting the ball deep in KC territory. Allen hits Coleman for another quick TD and a 14-0 lead. Kansas City then drives down the field and tries to calm the game down by getting a field goal. Buffalo responds by changing up the game plan and going no huddle. Mixing cook runs and a few catches for Kincaid buffalo scores another TD with a deep fade to Kincaid as he barely gets two feet in. The crowd is louder than it's ever been. Von Miller and Greg Rousseau take over with back to back sacks. Buffalo heads into halftime up 27-10. A Mahomes series ends in Buffalo territory with a surprise Kelce drop as KC desperately went for it on 4th down. Buffalo puts the game away on a 27 yard TD run behind Spencer Brown on a sprint draw to go up 34-10. McDermott gets a Gatorade shower as Ed Oliver and Von Miller hold McDermott to keep him from getting away. Tim Russert smiles from the heavens above and the city of buffalo 🦬 melts from the joy and celebration.
