Clearly from Caleb's presser he was overwhelmed. Lots of his answers don't make sense which is understandable. Even if you're kind of paralyzed by analysis in the moment, maybe it's too far for the kicker etc. Once the clock gets to about 20 seconds you must call timeout. 16-17 seconds is the minimum needed to run a play and then rush the fg unit on ( and that's probably pushing it obviously)... Once they weren't lined up correctly at 15 seconds, again call to.... Idk just weird

So he was probably confused about keeping the timeout. Regardless, just take the timeout with 26-27 seconds Left and then on 4th down have the fg team ready to run out on the field. The bears coach needs to help his rookie QB there. Lions got lucky Complete mental meltdown by the coach. Caleb needs to be aware too that the clock is running down. Not good
