No. I think Benford is an all pro level player and Douglas has the leg up in physicality and experience I think there is a lot of evidence he would start on some teams and being 23 I don't think his story is over. I could obviously be wrong. If we hypothetically have an injury at cb I am very comfortable with him starting

We just disagree bro. I think buffalos top 4 CBS are the best in the NFL and is on par with what KC did last year. All pro Johnson in the nickel and Elam / Ingram as depth along with Hardy on the ps and what he showed in preseason is about as good as it gets for a full CB room Seeing tre white now makes me sad. Dude was so frickin good before the injuries His 19 season was incredible. I remember his int vs KC in 17 as a rookie. Awesome 😎

He helped win two playoff games for us. I understand that frustration. His tape vs tyreek is pretty incredible. The reason he has not fully pulled ahead IMHO is because Benford is imo a great CB in the mold of a James hasty and Douglas has the edge in physicality/ experience over Elam. I personally think the KC narrative is fake about McDuffie Benford is better than McDuffie imo Elam is better than Williams or Watson And Ingram is about a tie with Williams or Watson Both organizations got 1 really top CB and two other solid CBS, but Elam is better than Williams or Watson imo He literally started as a rookie and started a few weeks ago when Benford was banged up

Douglas was the vet replacement for tre white. They were going to trade for him regardless. If you want to say well the draft capital investment was not on par , ok I can agree sorta. But if Elam is great depth outside and is again a starter in 25 at 24 yrs old idk. I think the narrative around Elam is more about finding a gem in Benford and not really about Elam. If there is a weakness it's his tackling Elam has literally been really good when he has played healthy. That's an objective fact. Benford has a really good argument for the best CB in football based on lots of his grades.... Look up his grades when he has been healthy Elam has a pff grade of 76 right now. It was 87 in the playoffs his rookie year And 75 in the playoffs last year when he was healthy.

Or Elam is really really good and they found the best CB in football in the sixth rd and Douglas has taken over for tre It's possible that Benford and Douglas are awesome and so is Elam. It's not mutually exclusive.... Elam is cb2 next year regardless. So it's really a win however you want to look at it

His man covg against tyreek hill was excellent He then got hurt his second year and had to go on ir. When he was fully healthy he once again was solid and made a huge int in the playoffs and almost had another one. From everything I read he was excellent in camp and took a jump in play but Benford has turned into a gem. Douglas is also really good. It's possible that Benford is the best CB in the NFL right now. It's not mutually exclusive It's just a numbers game imo and not really an indictment on him as some failed pick. I think the plan was always for Benford and Elam to start by 24 or 25

Tuas passer rating in the first half was 89 along with being terrible on 3rd down He needed to show guts like I said and play great to win. I'm tired of the media hype with Miami. It's a joke at this point Tua played the best game I've ever seen him play in Buffalo a few weeks ago and they still lost. You can't undo the whistle lol Similar to a ball being recovered and returned for a TD, but after the whistle blew. You can't magically make the play live afterwards. Bad break for us but the raiders deserved to lose. I'm not worried because KC schedule is brutal and they will drop a couple games. 3 games in 10 days, 3 of last 4 on the road, all decent QBs to good teams. They are going to lose a couple Even if worse comes to worse we should be able to easily create our own defacto bye week with the two seed because Baltimore and Pittsburgh schedule is also absolutely brutal and also play 3 games in 10 days....
