Obviously Allen is going to be at the top of a lot of lists, but being a QB and it's positional impact being so great, I kind of only compare QBs to other QBs. Allen is having a favre type MVP season like in 96. As far as non QB best years as a buffalo bill! Oj 2000 yds in 14 games with no real passing game is insane But ... From an eye test standpoint Bruce Smith in 1990 had 19 sacks in the first 13 games. Please remember teams ran way more back then.... I don't think I can remember one player on the dline completely wrecking a game, literally taking the game over and single handedly tilting the field like Bruce in 1990. It's honestly unbelievable. I would encourage you guys to watch the bills vs eagles game in 1990. It's one of the most dominant performances I've ever seen from a dlineman ever. It's truly incredible. To the point it almost doesn't look real To this day I consider Bruce the greatest buffalo bill ever and probably the greatest defensive player in NFL history. Bruce in 1996 was another all time year. He was still a borderline dominant pass rusher in 2000 with Washington even at age 37. One of the most versatile dlineman to ever exist and probably someone we'll never see again.

Lamar is having a great year. But some of the accolades especially MVP need to stop until he performs at an " MVP level" in the playoffs.... You can't win a 3rd MVP while being terrible in the playoffs in your first 6 years.... That's always been the prevailing rule and what all the all time great QBs had to do before they got a second MVP I wouldn't want Allen getting his 2nd MVP regardless of the numbers until he won a ring.

He's playing Montana 89 playoff level right now combined with a few runs to keep the defense honest. It's unstoppable to stop if the bills don't turn the ball over and stay relatively healthy. Milano looked good. You could tell he was getting more comfortable. I saw he was questionable to return with a groin but he was walking around with his helmet on so I don't think it's too serious. Id rest him up for a couple weeks or until the playoffs if need be Dorian Williams came back in so that's good. I wouldn't mind resting him either Bernard and Spector can play. Same with Andressen. We can also resign Morrow if we need a backup lb to play snaps in the last couple games If the Steelers lose another game we should at minimum be able to create the week 18 rest everyone bye
