  1. He showed that bend and acceleration on the pass rush arc on the sack vs the jaguars.... That was a prime Von sack He's being paced because we need that for the playoffs. That will be decided in the playoffs. Vintage Von spin move
  2. He's playing with more confidence and decisiveness. I think he could be really good next year and I'm happy with the progress considering he missed all training camp
  3. Just start buffalo joe next to Bernard and give ulofoshio some reps. Rest Milano and Williams for the playoffs
  4. The bills defense is 10th in dvoa, 6th in run defense dvoa. The special teams is terrible I'm not going to make excuses there. Smiley needs to be fired even after we win the super bowl.
  5. You do agree they're resting their starters week 18 if they already have the 2 seed locked up , right?
  6. This is the playoff dress rehearsal game. Blow them out buffalo 🦬 i want to rest everyone week 18.
  7. I'd rest Spector until the playoffs for emergency depth and sign Morrow to the ps. Elevate Morrow these next two weeks to continue to have linebacker depth. I'm hoping we blow out the jets in the first half and get the starters off the field
  8. Good point. Simply stated optics matter and more so as a leader. Power dynamics don't disappear just because a person is good or has empathy.
  9. Buffalo will use the jets game as a playoff dress rehearsal. The 2 seed and a defacto bye week is in hand with a win. You'll see buffalo play at extremely high level vs the jets but still hold things back scheme wise. Josh probably won't run vs the jets. You can elevate 2 extra guys per week. Unlimited call ups are allowed in the playoffs. So for example if the bills want to elevate Hyde for each playoff game they can. In the regular season you're only allowed to be called up 4x I think. Anything more and said player has to be signed to the 53. There are other caveats and loopholes but that's the general rules
  10. No. They are pacing themselves for a historic playoff domination. They're are going to rest everyone week 18, manage a few others and then open up the most prolific playoff run in NFL history. They are going to completely annihilate everyone except for KC on the road. But I think there is a good chance that they destroy KC too... KC will play their heart out in arrowhead but it won't be enough. Similar to the Detroit game
  11. I'll judge the bills defense in the playoffs. But I'm predicting they are going to dominate in the playoffs. I don't care about the Patriots in week 16. Neither do the bills regardless of what they say
  12. Don't forget Lamar randomly made the pro bowl over Allen in 21....
  13. Go watch Daquan Jones vs KC and Detroit. Obviously guys are not going to admit they are managing their bodies but it's just true. Otherwise explain why Jones was manhandling Creed Humphrey
  14. No he doesn't. And it's wrong what is going on... Nobody has won a 2nd MVP until they won a championship Nobody has won MVP not being top ten in passing yds or passing tds Again there is no world where Lamar has 3 MVPs and Allen has zero in the timeframe of Jan 2020 to now, Allen has almost 100 more tds than Lamar in the regular season and playoffs, beat Lamar in the playoffs, and has more playoff tds than Lamar burrow Herbert and Lawrence COMBINED.... Allen has the second most tds in NFL playoff history for a QB in his first ten playoff games. Lamar in 6 playoff games has a passer rating of 75, 6 passing touchdowns and 6 int. Allen vs the face of the league since 21 is 4-2 vs mahomes Lamar is 1-4 in his career vs mahomes. I'll repeat that if Allen doesn't get the MVP, it's obviously a point of emphasis to not give him the award ever, and it would be cruel to not give him the award. It would be intentionally cruel The MVP race came into focus when Allen played KC and up to the lions.
  15. Unless Allen has 5 int and / or loses the game the MVP race is over.
  16. This isn't complicated If on Wednesday the 2 seed is clinched for buffalo ( KC and Texans win) You play the starters vs the jets a couple series/ 1st qtr and then rest everyone week 18. If we to beat the jets to secure the 2 seed, you try to blow out the jets and then rest everyone week 18.
  17. The bills didn't give a crap about that game. It's not politically correct or coach speak but it's true.... They cared enough to get the win and not get injured. I don't care about this game or the jets game as long as they win.
  18. I mean I'm kinda joking with it a bit lol. I agree Tony soprano's character arc would go back and forth between, hero, anti hero and villain protagonist. But he was generally a flawed character My point wasn't about Tony soprano's moral scruples, it was that showing weakness and vulnerability is usually a dangerous proposition in a position of leadership. Interesting enough, I do agree kinda with some of your take on the sopranos, but Dr melfi and her worldview was pretty naive and hypocritical. Almost to the point of humiliation and moral relativism run amok...As was the priest , Tonys wife Carmella. Certainly others too.... As evil as Tony was, he was in touch with reality as a " gang leader / mob boss"...But he would obviously not be someone I would view as a " hero ". He was at his worst a manipulative sociopath but also had some redeeming qualities. His relationship with the one legged lady was my favorite of the show. I'm paraphrasing but she said something along the lines of " you Americans have too much time on your hands. Ppl in Russia always expect something bad to happen, while ppl in the West or America never expect anything bad to happen..." Tonys character was at it's highest moral high ground when he reflected on that along with finally commencing justice on Ralph even when it would've cost him a lot of money and resources... It's probably a bad example. Like I said the character archetype is an example of how weakness in many forms of leadership is extremely dangerous. Not an endorsement of the characters moral integrity.... General Patton is more just a nostalgic archetype. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was kinda joking 😉
  19. Playoffs allow unlimited call ups
  20. The line is you don't allow what is happening now. The opportunity for ppl around you to question your internal fortitude. It's not fair but look at the thread. Imagine if it was something serious in life? Again Tony soprano, General Patton. Never show weakness
  21. He probably still needs a couple weeks of training and getting ramped up
  22. Hyde is here as insurance at safety.
  23. Yup. Gary Cooper, the strong silent type
