Buffalo 44 Baltimore 24

Josh Allen was the first QB in NFL history to have 30 plus passing touchdowns, 4000 passing yds, and 750 rushing yds. He did this in 2021 and 2022 back to back years. Not only did nobody talk about it in the media, he didn't make the pro bowl in 21 or all pro in 22. And Allen had 4000 passing yds in 13 games in both years. And in 22 he did it with a turn elbow.... And he beat mahomes in 21 And he beat both mahomes and Lamar in 22 on the road

It's not just Henry, but it's Henry in combination with the zone read and threat of Lamar running. It creates very simple reads. Lamar is probably the best ever at it, but I don't think that philosophy is the best version of an offense That's not precedent being broken
-
Again yes it's not new. Lamar best functions in the RPO/ zone read. I agree it's not new but has limitations. Henry just inflated the same concepts
-
When was it decided that a non QB can't win the award? Show me that precedent being broken
-
You're proving my point. He's facing condensed defense towards the line of scrimmage and constant man covg. When they have to get out of that offense that's where Lamar is not on a Allen or Mahomes level. We've seen it over and over again
-
It is ludicrous. NFL precedent for all of NFL history would be broken two years in a row
-
It doesn't dismiss anything. But the stats are not congruent with a traditional passer rating. It's completely different
-
Yes he literally did. He had a passer rating of 117. The numbers you gave are over ten starts It's again highly misleading because of the RPO and Henry It's not equivalent to a prime Rodgers or even Allen's passer rating this year. The defense isn't playing the QB the same.... You don't understand basic football if you can't understand the difference
-
It has happened partly this year and definitely towards the end of last year. He got banged up
-
Not based on precedent. No QB in NFL history has ever won a 3rd MVP before winning a championship first Precedent was broken last year too. You would need to make a compelling argument on why this precedent is only being broken for Lamar and not previous QBs, or even QBs who won a championship
-
Kincaid is the next Kelce imo and will be the best te in football by the end of this playoff or next year
-
It's called the Derrick Henry effect. Tannehill had a similar year in ten games starting in 19. He had a passer rating of 117... It's highly misleading because of the RPO/ read zone with Henry creating condensed defense towards the line of scrimmage and man covg

It's hysterical that buffalo blew out Miami in 1990 after getting blown out earlier in the year. That's not logical Again who are you picking to win lol. Saving all these receipts, especially the insane stuff about Von
-
The record, eye test and numbers suggest otherwise
-
So when Kincaid is awesome in the playoffs, you'll change your mind right? He took over targets from diggs last year lol
-
Your premise would make sense if you think an earlier season win translates to a better team/ roster. I just proved your premise wrong with my 1990 loss to Miami Who's going to win if Baltimore comes to buffalo?
-
Cooper is better than diggs last year. So is Coleman, So is Shakir. I wouldn't trade Kincaid for any te in the NFL
-
The dude is a better version of kordell Stewart in this era ( kordell went to 2 AFC championships) and Clark says this insane nonsense. It's so cringe and weird Like how is this not disrespectful to Mahomes. Can we please for the love of God live in reality.
-
So by your logic it's transitive? Because that's not how football works It actually cheapens it giving it to Lamar. The longer he keeps failing in the playoffs the more the award loses prestige and becomes less validated. It's the opposite, the more championships you win, the more deserving you are to get the award. If Allen wins the Superbowl, he should be even more favored to win MVP again next year. I'll say it, James Cook at his age, with his explosive ability and versatility as a receiving rb is more valuable than Henry He's possibly out best all around RB since the Thurmanator I'll bet you cook has a much better postseason than Henry
-
Praying 🙏 that Beane is still here to pick the next one The 1990 bills got blown out by Miami on the road earlier in that season. How did that work out 😂
-
The eye test and numbers suggest otherwise. They made the two one seeds look inferior
-
So if we blow them out in the playoffs you'll change your mind?
