Do the Saints have enough talent on their roster to compete for the NFC South division if they swapped in Aaron Rodgers for Carr? 👀

Thoughts on Attempting to Obtain 4 2025 2nd Round Draft Picks?
BlueRed replied to HIT BY SPIKES's topic in The Stadium Wall
Studying some of the draft value trade charts I think the Bills could wheel and deal their way to 20 - 5th round picks (Beanes sweet spot)! Cost control and cheap labor for 4 years! 🙃 -
Hmm interesting option - any other CB’s we expect teams to part with that will be available soon - Jaire (GB)?
-
Marquise Brown from BAL to Arizona I think was a draft day trade as well if I recall correctly.

TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
BlueRed replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
While TBDers zigged, I zagged with my choice. I believe with the tiers of DE and CBs we have in this draft there will be quality options for both positions with our round 2 and 4 picks. Also agree with others before that struggle with the positional value of a 1T DT in the first. I voted for OL Josh Connerly. Our oline has been surprisingly (and luckily) healthy the past 2 seasons and although a lot of people are excited about the potential depth in the pipeline, the truth is that they are unproven day 3 and undrafted prospects. If any of them had to start next year for an extended period of time I think it’d be rough. The bills in this scenario should make their strength (O-line) stronger with their round 1 pick and address defensive role players and snap takers in day 2/3. -
It’d be kinda cool if NFL teams could designate a player to this league to give them reps/playing time. Like imagine if the Bills Travis Clayton was on one of these teams playing on the o-line. I think a lot of Bills fans would watch just to see how their teams “development player” looked.

As stupid as they look on the TV, I wouldn’t mind the entire Bills team coming out next year wearing those guardian caps. Even if it reduces concussions 1%, it makes sense to take every measure to “protect your assets”.
-
I think the concussion concern on Benford is valid and a good reminder of how quickly things can go south for these players. I’m surprised it isn’t talked about more but Taron Johnson has had 5 concussions documented in his career and I’m not sure how he cleared the protocol in the playoffs from that last helmet to helmet hit he took (I think they deemed it shoulder/neck). With his size and the way he plays physical against backs, TE’s, lineman … I wonder how much longer Taron can hold up for 17+ game seasons as well.

Has Cook talked himself OFF the Bills for 2025
BlueRed replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can someone break down all the things James Cook has said this offseason? I’m not on all the social media sites but I think the hysteria around this seems to be more in bills fans minds than anything else. -
That was my original thinking as well but sometimes you just have to follow the money … Last season too after the bills released Mike Edward’s they really just carried 3 safeties on the roster plus Cam Lewis. Maybe the real battle this year will be Forrest, a draft pick, and Cam.

I’ve been using this site for mock drafts and I think there is something wrong with the algorithm for the giants pick at 3. About half the drafts they are picking some QB out of left field.
-
It looks like Damar’s 2 mil salary is fully guaranteed per spotrac so a safe bet to make the roster regardless of what they continue to add through the draft.

Matt Milano agrees to pay cut, 2025 becomes final year of his deal
BlueRed replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d be curious to see the incentives. Since he barely played in 2024 I think they could have the incentives set pretty low and label them “unlikely to be earned” or however that’s supposed to work for the cap relief. -
I’m really curious what round Jordan Philips (Maryland) goes in - but would be interested in the bills betting on his upside early day 3.

Hoecht and Ogunjobi 6 game suspension for PEDs
BlueRed replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I haven’t read through every page so I apologize if it’s already been brought up. But suspended players don’t get game checks, correct? Any cap wizards care to break down how mush these guys are leaving on the table for being out 6 weeks? -
Even though the o-line room is full I was curious if they’d try to bring Clapp back. They kept elevating him during the playoffs over SVPG which still seems like a strange move.
-
If the bills get this guy I’d imagine him and Andreesen would be fighting for the same roster spot, right?
-
TE seemed to be a popular first round mock for the broncos. With this addition and a deep TE class I’m sure this shakes up where those projected round 1 TE’s land.

Chiefs and Commanders tampering with Ronnie Stanley
BlueRed replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
For reference purposes - last year the Falcons were stripped of a 5th round pick and fined 250k for Kirk Cousins supposed tampering. I think this is something to keep an eye on with the league. They will investigate but I actually wonder if the punishment would come in less than the Falcons because the tampering didn’t actually help them land the player. -
Ryan Stonehouse from the Titans might be a good add for the Bills at punter… if anyone cares

Bills Player Releases and Restructures--New League Year Begins 3/12/25
BlueRed replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually wouldn’t mind the bills using one of their top 3 picks on an o-lineman (which I understand isn’t going to be a popular take here). Kromer gets the best out of his guys which is why we feel comfortable with day 3 and UDFA’s as depth - But imagine if he hand picked an early round prospect and got them to reach their potential - Scary. Leaning into the bills strength last year and making it even stronger might be a good way to win the offseason. -
A not great (for Bills) mock draft. What would you do different?!
BlueRed replied to RyanC883's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw somewhere that Alexander will turn 25 in August, I don’t think that fits in with the bills history of first round picks - leaning into youth and potential. -
I can’t seem to find anything on it now but I thought it was reported that McGovern finished the season playing through a difficult shoulder injury - did I imagine that?
-
Josh and Christian Kirk seem to be together every offseason. I don’t know how they are connected but I agree with you that this is one to keep an eye on.

I’m starting to wonder if for a successful Bills Super Bowl run they should keep a few of their key UFA’s next year on expiring contracts to get their best performance - like Cook and maybe Bernard. The Eagles let Milton Williams and Josh Sweat play on the final years of their deals and they both made a lot of extra money with their Super Bowl performances.
