  1. I guess now a few posters will call for April to be fired after the game...
  2. Roscoe's First Touchdown!
  3. Really and Truly? Gosh I must have badly misjudged you... Since, my reading skills are obviously inferior to yours, could you please point out the section in that article that talks about Clinton wiretapping American Citizens on American Soil? I must have missed that part, somehow...
  4. Just because you asked so nicely... Next time read the thread before you start yelling at people... As usual these threads start to wander because someone like GG wants to start playing the "shift the blame" game...
  5. " The bill does refer to intervention in foreign phone calls--phone calls going out of this country--but what it does not say is that everybody's phone calls are being listened to, that everybody's phone calls are being scanned and, moreover, that the check on this system is not within our national boundaries. Australia has an arrangement with the UK, the United States, Canada and New Zealand whereby the downloading of selected phone calls--the intercepted calls which the Americans, in particular, want to listen to--go straight to Washington. I will be asking the government during the committee stages of this debate what control Australia has over this spy system based here in Australia. I think we will find that it is close to zero; that in fact this information is being relayed straight to Washington and to other countries without proper intervention by the Australian authorities. When this bill says, `Let's intervene in certain phone calls made by criminals and people with an intent that is not in Australia's interests,' it is really missing the point--that is, that everybody's phone calls are being listened in to and, as far as I know, this parliament has no control over that. This parliament is not informed about it. This parliament is not a watchdog on behalf of citizens. This parliament does not know what our spy systems are doing and, more particularly, it does not know what the foreign spy systems are doing which are getting the information out of the Australian infrastructure." A closer reading reveals that as usual what you've referenced has little or no relationship to the current debate... if you were aiming this at the current flap over warrentless survielance of US Citizens on US Soil. Or, are you actually saying that it's illegal for US Intelligence Agencies to gather info on Foriegn Nationals, OVERSEAS? My guess is that this is really just another transparent "shift the blame to Clinton" ploy.
  6. And I still want to see the link to anything that says she ever traveled as a diplomat. But of corse you'll ignore that part, again... Cuz we all know the rhetoric doesn't need to be true, just repeated often and loudly...
  7. Or just maybe, the Senator from Tasmania, doesn't have quite the same level of access as a Senator from say... any state in the USA? Just a Thought...
  8. Too bad the goal was waived off after further review...
  9. Do you have a link to any source that says she traveled as a diplomat? I thought her cover was entirely different...
  10. Maybe because of the men and women who fought and died to give you those freedoms? In my mind, and I served in the military for over twenty years, you and I were given a precious gift by those selfless people, don't be so quick to throw that precious gift away, the lives spent to give it to you cannot be regained.
  11. You're Welcome. It's nice to live in a country where the free expression of one's partisan opinions can be openly and honestly done without fear of anything more than an ineffectual message board tongue lashing from those who don't agree with you. Just think how terrible it would be to live somewhere where free expression of one's political views could result in say, your phones being tapped and your conversations recorded just because your views don't match those of the current administration. Why in such a hypothetical country even your private e-mails could be routinely read, just to ensure that you weren't supporting terrorism. And of course, in such a country, high profile people would automatically give up their constitutional protections because of the fact that many people know who they are. I'm so glad that my twenty plus years of military service in support of the Constitution of the United States has helped to ensure that something like that could never happen here. Yep, in such a hypothetical country, checks and balances are such an eighteenth century idea, and partisan to boot. It’s nice to know that we don’t ever have to worry about such things, isn’t it?
  12. Since, I've also been excluded from those meetings, although I suspect it's for an entirely different reason than your exclusion, since I completely disagree with their point of view, I cannot answer your entirely reasonable questions. I can however offer you an idea on how to gain better access to the inner circle; simply increase your campaign contribution level from "Junior Woodchuck" to "Ranger." I've heard, although I admit it may be entirely based on malicious rumors, that such an increase does wonders for your access level with the current administration. (And, yes monkey boy, that has always been and most likely always will be true, despite which admin is the current one.)
  13. "Tiny" Tony Greene was too small and too slow to play free safety also...
  14. Well actually it proves nothing unless one is looking for any possible reason to exonerate the Current Administration's actions. Comparing the FISA Court's reactions to the Current Admin's requests for authorizations to its reactions to Previous Admin's requests for authorizations without detailing the differences in the contents of those requests looks like it will be the latest tack taken by the "Talking Points Crowd."
  15. Every Time the BILLS WIN it's worth it, no matter what some people think.
  16. Talking to yourself again?
  17. Touchdown Terrance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. 58 seconds left, dare we hope?
  19. Nice play by Moulds!
  20. Did I hear that right? KH has 300 yds?
  21. Nice Catch by Reed!
  22. Hence the "Now might be a good time" line. And it wouldn't be the first time that my adding a comment to a thread killed it...
  23. Sadly, what was once an actual discussion is now quickly breaking down into just another left/right competition in the quoting of talking points. Perhaps a thread such as this should be closed, and highlighted as an example, as soon as the first post from certain closed minded posters is added. Now might be a good time.
  24. So we bring in a new GM and HC and they clean house of the guys they don't want and bring in their guys, who we won't want, and this will be over exactly how?
  25. I was on point, and I never said bring back Bledsoe, what I said was this type of season was gaurenteed when they listened to the fans and ran the only NFL ready QB on the team out of town. Maybe next year Losman will be ready to lead a winning team but, as should be painfully obvious to everyone by now, he ain't there yet. So, all you posters who thought anyone could do a better job leading the Bills than Bledsoe could and cheered when an untested rookie was named the starter should calm down and watch as you get what you asked for. I don't like it either, but growing pains are part of an NFL QB's growth. They almost never win their first year.
