Actually, I would think that before making a decision as to whether something is good or bad, a reasonable person would gather and peruse as much unbiased factual information as possible in order to have a working knowledge of the pros and cons of the situation in question and to avoid appearing to be an unabashed shill. It may be politely phrased, but it is still an attack on the OP's credibility. That would be a true statement if you had ever demonstrated a commitment to being a Bills Fan in any of your posts. Instead you can be counted on to attack any positive statement about any Bills Player, Coach, or Front Office Type. If a Bills Fan posts something that he or she feels good about you can be counted on to jump in and attack that opinion. If someone has something negative to say about the Bills you're right there telling them how much you agree with them and what a good post it was. Really, are posts like these necessary for anyone but TROLLS? Someone is optomistic, but you're pessimistic, so you feel a need to piss in their corn flakes? WTF is up with that? Either grow up or go back to patsfan.cheat, whichever applies.

Nelson, IMO has a chance to be far better than Riemersma. He could be in the McKellar (pre injury) category. Mathews is a third tackle type TE (ya think we might have a use for a blocking TE?) who can catch the ball and punish tacklers. And Schouman was on his way to establishing himself as Trent's favorite mid range target before his injury last year. So while I agree that the TE position has been neglected in the past, I think this crop, with proper coaching and utilization, could change that. No Self-Denial involved, unless you consider denying the "The Bills Suck and will always Suck" mentality to be self denial.

Why is it whenever someone posts that they think a Bills Player belongs in the NFL, someone has to chime in with a post (or series of posts) like these? Why does a fan have to be in "Self-Denial" to believe that a Bills Player is actually good enough to be in the NFL? It's funny Bill, but I seem to remember you singing Bell's praises last year at this time. Look at the draft order objectively. Which O-Lineman did you think was a better football value than Spiller at the 9th pick? Even better, which player in the draft was a better football value than Spiller at the 9th pick? Don't dodge by arguing for trading away the pick. Those questions go right to the heart of your original supposition. If you believe that the pick was made not to make the team better but instead to sell tickets then you must believe that there was in fact a better player available at the 9th pick. WHO IS IT? Personally I think you're in your perennial "B word about every draft choice that wasn't a lineman mode." But, that's just me.
