  1. So basicly this board's considered opinion is that all celebs should just shut the hell up when it comes to politics, unless of course what they have to say matches the selected listener's preconcieved political beliefs? Is that a correct statement? Wouldn't that be boring?
  2. Thanks, it's fixed now.
  3. Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza, Joyus Festivus, Spectacular Solstice, and Happy New Year. To all of you and yours. I'd throw a Rollicking Ramadan in there too, but I don't want to upset anyone...
  4. Your thirteenth birthday has to be coming soon. Yep, it came from me, but that doesn't make it inappropriate.
  5. Three words short of "War and Peace."
  6. Wasn't Jim Leonard one of TBD's Favorite Whipping Boys when he was with the Bills?
  7. Well don't we have a bunch of witty lubbers here today. If any of you could tell a binnacle from a barnacle (without googling it, Monkey-Boy) your opinions might be worth something.
  8. Yeah, send the TSA after him.
  9. And I believe the OP asked if he would be held to the same standard (on this board) that Nancy is held to. The obvious answer is: No, of course not, the majority of posters on this board agree with his stated political positions so actual results are unnecessary provided he keeps feeding the faithful their daily talking points. Anyone who disagrees will be swiftly shouted down as an obviously braindead liberal lemming. As I said, "Politics as Usual" 101.
  10. So if I understand you correctly, they should be held accountable for remaining true to their stated intentions but not for attaining the results they promised to deliver? Isn't that "Politics as Usual 101"?
  11. I'll also volunteer.
  12. A question in another thread piqued my interest. How should someone go about estimating the sheer stupidity of someone who actually believes the nonsense that passes for sage wisdom on this board? In order to arrive at an estimate of that stupidity, an objective researcher should compare the sample statements attributed to any poster to a known standard of advanced stupidity. Given that this is PPP, it is actually quite easy to construct a sliding stupidity scale based on the Inane/Nonsensical/Silly/Asinine/Neopartisan/Ego-maniacal postings of any poster as judged by the the PPP Rating Board (Henceforth called the PPP-I.N.S.A.N.E. Rating). The rating board should have a permanent chairperson, someone known for their ability to consistently construct unarguably factual, honest, and nonpartisan ideas and arguments. I suggest this post be unilaterally awarded to ieatcrayonz. Two board members should be chosen, one from each fringe, to serve for terms of 90 days or until crayonz decides he's had enough of their nonsense, whichever is shorter. I would like to nominate Rob's House and The Big Cat for the inaugural board positions. The sliding scale then becomes simple: +2 – Brilliant! (Almost crayonz Level) +1 – Sort of Smart. (Crap Throwing Monkey Level) 0 – Normal (Average Poster, X Benedict Level) -1 – Not too Bright (Wacka Level) -2 – You're Kidding, Right? (George Level) -3 – Flat Out Stupid! (Wisconsin Bills Fan Level) Who goes where? That's for crayonz to decide!
  13. Didn't Haslett also wear 55?
  14. So now the NY Post is a Liberal Paper? And it's reporters are shills for the NY Dems? Wow! I bet Rupert Murdoch is pissed about that!
  15. I have to wonder how much that game affected Chan's opinion of Trent. It's arguably Trent's best game in a Bills uniform. Does Chan believe that he can get Trent to perform at that level on a regular basis? And if he can, how good can Trent become?
  16. Miami Freaking Dolphins Travel north to Buffalo Squish the Fish!
  17. I believe that Gailey and Edwards made a decision to play nothing but base defenses in the preseason in order to evaluate players and keep the blitz packages under wraps. It's the same thing most teams do. On Sunday you'll see a defense that looks quite different from what you saw in the preseason. I don't know if it will look and perform better but I gaurantee you'll see things you didn't see when the games didn't count. Now in three or four weeks if we're still moaning about a lack of pass rush, then it will be time to start getting concerned. But right now we haven't seen the real defensive scheme on the field yet.
  18. So in other words, you got nothing. Just bashing Bills Players because they're Bills Players and obviously any castoff who wasn't a Bills Player is better than them. Have I nailed you, Bubba?
  19. I'm jumping on the Senator and Enuf is Enuf's bandwagon. 19 - 0 BABY!
  20. Actually, while standing on connor's head.
  21. That's got to be one heck of a touch football league if you feel comfortable comparing it to any NFL team or player.
  22. Right now special teams are being manned by players who won't be around for the first game. After the roster is cut to 53 special teams play will improve. It happens every year.
  23. This looks Fantastic Scoot, Great Job.
