  1. 1) The Ruble: 2) Funny how many conservatives conveniently forget which President was in office (hint: not the black one) when Russia invaded Georgia in 2008. Fast forward to today, and Russia still occupies 20% of Georgia’s territory, flexing its muscles through the claimed annexation of strategic lands like Abkhazia, and making plans for a permanent naval base in Ochamchire. 3) Oh, and those same conservatives? They seem to have selective memory when it comes to Olympic locations. They forget that the President of the United States doesn't get to hand out Olympic bids. So, in July 2007, when Russia was awarded the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, guess who was in office? (Spoiler: still not the black one.) But sure, blame Obama, as usual.
  2. While global health initiatives can certainly help protect America, that’s not my only motivation. These efforts are primarily driven by humanitarian concerns and the recognition that diseases don’t respect borders.
  3. Hopefully, in time, we won’t find out firsthand just how effective those proactive measures really were… but there’s little doubt we’ll regret every cent of these "savings."
  4. Everything Trump does is in Vladimir's interest.
  5. Oh, so we're digging all the way back to 125+ years ago to find the last time the US did something remotely similar to what Russia is still doing today? Nice! That's like bringing up medieval battles to justify modern-day wars. I guess if we keep reaching back far enough, maybe we can justify anything, right? Cool logic!
  6. These individuals should be held accountable for their decisions, especially when it comes to cuts that affect veterans who deserve better.
  7. Let me get this straight: you're comparing a laundry list of American and NATO interventions with Putin's constant land grabs from his neighbors like he's just a misunderstood guy trying to expand his backyard? Nice try, but one’s about spreading democracy, and the other’s about spreading oppression. Let’s not mix up the motives.
  8. Who needs the Office of Net Assessment? Clearly just totally unnecessary to have experts looking into the future of national security, long-term threats, military, security, and economic stuff. Who needs that when you can just wing it and hope for the best?
  9. Free* speech, right?

  11. Oh, of course, it's always someone else's fault. How convenient, especially when you're from a country with such a stellar history of never invading anyone. Poland - 1939 Finland - 1939-1940 Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) - 1940 Hungary - 1956 Czechoslovakia - 1968 Afghanistan - 1979-1989 Chechnya - 1994-2000 Georgia - 2008 Ukraine - 2014-present Syria - 2015-present Oh, so now Afghanistan was entirely Biden's mess, but the Bush-era decisions and Trump literally handing Afghanistan to the Taliban with his ‘peace deal’ are somehow irrelevant? Sure, Biden made mistakes, but pretending it was all his fault while ignoring the mess left by both previous administrations is a bit too convenient, don’t you think? The US promised to help the Kurds in Syria, then Trump backed out. Sounds a lot like Afghanistan, doesn’t it?
  12. Sure, Trump definitely would’ve stopped Putin. After all, he was so tough on Russia, right? Like when he praised Putin and couldn’t get enough of him, but hey, at least he handed Syria over to Assad and Russia without a hitch. And who could forget how he ‘won’ in Afghanistan, handing it straight to the Taliban with a nice, neat bow on top? So yeah, I'm sure Putin would've thought twice if Trump were in charge. Totally believable.

  15. Notice they keep unintentionally making the case that we can't afford the Trump tax cuts because they simply pass the cost to our children.
