That was a lot of reading, but there are some solid ideas in this post! Bills could do alot to increase revenue streams without raising ticket prices. Look at what they are doing in Washington. F***ing Synder raises prices so high an average working family have to either pay the mortgage or go to the game. Bills have a good feel for what the WNY fans will take and can afford. I know the NFL is a business, but it is now looking more like business and less like a game.

Where did the fallacy come from that a big D-line
DCBongo replied to Ramius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we had Smerlis for one more season instead of Wright, Bills would have stopped OJ Anderson and won the Super Bowl. And if my Aunt had a unit, she'd be my uncle! -
Shawn Alexander is the lucky winner! All we need is Dr. Z calling the Seahawks Super Bowl bound and they'll go 2-14!

Chris Rix just spotted at the Buffalo airport.

How cares how smart a football player is. They used to say Bradshaw could't spell cat if you spotted him the C and the T. So long as the dude is a smart football player, I am a happy Bills fan! -
The bad news if Golisano ever buys the Bills
DCBongo replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do the Olsen twins like football? -
I understand LA is a huge TV market, but two teams have all ready failed their. The LA market apparently does not care about football. And what was on the D&C is Tom Golisano is hinting he would do what he could to keep the Bills in Buffalo. Considering the guy is a Billionaire, he could probably do plenty!

Is Clements Going To Force A Draft Day Trade ?
DCBongo replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem I have with Clements is while he has always been a hard hitting corner, he has been terrible at picking interceptions at is prone to over-committing and getting burnt; plus the untimly holding penalties. I just think if he is looking to be the highest paid in the game, he should have a few seasons where he plays like he is worth the cash! -
Has Moulds been cut? Deadline has passed,
DCBongo replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the increase in the cap, Bills can resign Moulds, put some of the money in an upfront roster bonus, thus reducing his impact on the cap long term. He is a solid receiver who brings respect from opposing secondaires and acts as a mentor to younger receivers. I think there is a lot of sentimentality on wanting to keep Moulds, but he can still be a solid contributor for the next few seasons. -
That was the first AFC East title. I remember the SI article, They told Marv thay they had taken down the goal posts. He comemment, "They got both of them? That too bad, we are going to need those"

Where are the headlines? Where is the awesome team that was going to be built in a single blow! I woke up and nothing! It's like the time my uncle Jimmy promised me a red bicycle for Christmas. I went to bed all excited because I always wanted a red bicycle. When I woke up, Uncle Jimmy was dead by the tree with a bullet through his head. And, there was no bicycle. It was a disappointing Christmas on many different levels.

This could be the worst SUper Bowl, because the ref's played a bigger role than the players.

My 2006 Buffalo Bills. (Realistic and Beautiful!)
DCBongo replied to 2003's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing wrong with Buckeye's! Outside of College Team Loyalty, the OSU defense this year was solid, taking anyone from that crew would be a great investment! And we should keep Moulds if he is willing to restructure. He still has fuel in the tank and Defenses have to respect him. This will take pressure off Evans and Parrish. Hopefully, they are lobbying for Moulds. As Peerless showed, it ain't easy being #1. -
Is that when Greggo began his reign of infamy? The day Ralph fired Wade Phillips on trumped up charges was the beginning of bad karma on the Bills. Perhaps the much maligned Dickie J will be the solution to Bills fans woes?
-
That was so NOT a TD - the ball much cross the plain, and it never did. Then again - I won $20 on the play so GO BIG BEN!
-
I couldn't believe how badly that game was called. The push-off in the first quarter was a chump call; the blatant holding by Pittsburgh was missed by the linesman who was woefully out of position. Now, I tend to stay away from conspiracy theory, but ever since I watched that X-Files where the smoking man said the Bills would never win a super bowl so long as he was alive, well I can believe any tomfoolery by the NFL.

No one on that list deserves to be in the HOF MORE than Thermo. Can you argue folks like Art Monk deserve it as much? Suer, but no way TT is less worthy - Look at his stats. We need TT, Bruce, Andre, Kent Hull and lord willing, Steve Tasker in! The Bills Backer party in Canton is on hold for one more year

Which reason do you think JP will attribute his
DCBongo replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
JP is going to be fine. He showed signs of promise during the season and when he was benched, he did not make any excuses. He took it like a man - and the shows character. -
BILLS CHANCES OF WINNING SUPER BOWL IN 06'
DCBongo replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only problem with good dreams is you have to wake up eventually. If the Bills can be competitive for 16 games I will call this a successful season. -
As my Dad reminds me (he's a fan since 1960), the only time the Bills used to "win it all" was when they had the grazing Buffalo. Vote for Tradition!
-
I agree with Michael Wilbon on PTI today. HE said it’s great that Marv was back involved with the Bills, but being a HC at almost 80, almost 81 would not be good since a pro football head coach the most strenuous coaching job in all of sports.
-
Sosa was a preview of Sam Adams - Ain't I got luck of the Irish, A Bills/Cubs/Hartford Whalers fan. If it weren't for UConn Basketball, I would be totally screwed. Marv lives and works in Chicago, no signs so far that he is relocating back to Buffalo.
-
Regardless if you agree with MM staying or going, does anyone think he made a valid point? With Marv in Chicago, Ralph in Detroit and Modrak in Florida do we have a management team in place that can built a winning franchise? I am not an NFL expert, but don’t most teams General Managers and staff operate out of the team’s city?

Its better than the F'ing Burger King picking off out QB for a touchdown. That sucked!

I say a bygone, should be a bygone - BRING BACK WADE!!!! We MADE THE PLAYOFFS with Wade. Sure, we lost, but we went!
