  1. This is going to be a great test for JP and he will probably make some mistakes. What I am looking for are the plays that he does make. I expect him to handle the pressure and have a decent game against a team that should be going to the NFC Championship game.
  2. ummm, Alec, I'll take, things that are obvious for $1000 The fact that the team is 2-2 is far and beyond where I though we could be. In a youth movement, rebuilding year we are in the best start in at least 3 years. The team is going to excite you and break your heart, often in the same game. Switch to decaf and save the Chicken Little routine until at least midseason.
  3. And the old style gear was the good stuff. True that on the UCONN stuff - I got sucked into it in 1990 and developed a lifelong hatred for Duke in the process.
  4. Joe is not a smart man, but he does know football. No wait, he doesn't know football. Send him back to Sweeden where he belongs!
  5. As the OL improves and gels, you will see Parrish get more opportunites. As LevysEraII said, Enjoy the ride
  6. Who the heck is calling JP the next Jim Kelly? JP is not HOF material, but why does every QB need to be? Big Ben does not seem destined for Canton, but he could lead Pittsburgh to another Super Bowl. For what it is worth, this is the first year JP gets to be the starter. Last years coaching staff jerked him around and made him play square peg in round hole. This is going to be a year where the lumps are felt such as last Sunday. After this season we will know if JP has the mental toughness to be a pro QB. He might not, but as fans, I do not think finding his best qualities and hoping the rest comes around is such a bad thing.
  7. after 4 straight super bowl losses, I really hope so
  8. I am not expecting playoffs - with this coach and GM I am expecting Buffalo Bills football to be re-established and then reborn. I am thinking 1987 Let's get our youth movement a year of action, lets give JP a year to own this team, lets truly know who we got, who we want to keep and where the areas are that can be plugged for what could be, hell, should be a true Super Bowl campaign in 07!!!!
  9. It amazing where all these Pats fans came from. Prior to their first SB win, I never met a Patsy fan, and I live in Connecticut.
  10. Minnesposta is a good team, but not a reincarnation of the Purple People Eaters. 3-0 and going on the road to a hostile stadium against a team that should be aching to erase the memories of the Jets debacle. If the Bills are going to be anything this year, I expect to see it in this game. The loss to the Jets was a major disappointment since it was a game they pulled defeat out of the hands of victory. So, under Levy/Jauron I expect the team to re-find their heart, their heads and smack the Vikings around. I accept another non-playoff year... most probably. I do expect a team that never quits, never surrenders and plays hard enough to having me billeve they can win any game.
  11. If you see someone doing something stupid, be present! Bills fans are a community; we sell out The Ralph even when he does not give us a competitive team! If we love our Bills, we have to keep our reputation clean, and that means no stupid S&%T in the lot during tailgating. Go Buckeyes!!!!!
  12. Nice press conference, and I like JP and think he will do us proud eventfully. HOWEVER, after watching him on the podium, I kept hearing Owen Wilson.... The dude needs to add some baritone to his voice
  13. You want clutch? Bring back Rob Riddick!
  14. It was cool to see Crazy Joe on the TV yesterday! I don't think he gets enough credit from Bills fans. We was a very nice QB, and while, crazy (I still hate the red helmets), a good member of Bills history!
  15. That is just silly, I mean I do support all the work Tom Brady has done in support of Gay rights and Gay Marriage and all things pertaining to homosexuality (yes, I am kidding, but as a Bills fan, I feel the inherient right to mock any QB in the AFC East), but to compair The Chad to Tom Brady is the kind of stupidiy you would expect from a NYC sports fan.
  16. Zima, dude, you have NOT seen tailgating in the NFL if you haven't been to Buffalo. Zima, they are now called Smirnoff twists!
  17. I think PTR is on the money. Look at the last 8 games Sun., Nov. 12at Indianapolis Colts Sun., Nov. 19 at Houston Texans Sun., Nov. 26 JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS Sun., Dec. 3 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS Sun., Dec. 10 at New York Jets Sun., Dec. 17 MIAMI DOLPHINS Sun., Dec. 24 TENNESSEE TITANS Sun., Dec. 31 at Baltimore Ravens all eligable to be the Sunday Night game. If the Bills continue to play tough, exciting football then why can't they be the chosen game vs. some very good team? I don't think that is too crazy a thought!
  18. My Dad is still in disbelief about the switch to the red helmets. According to him, they might have won one of the super bowls if they had stayed with the grazzing Buffalo! And hay, how about a game where Coy Wire done good?
  19. The Rangers in 7!
  20. The draft is not the best indicator of talent. Thurmo went second round. For many years the Bills has the 2nd to last pick of the draft and they always picked up good talent. Vincent is a class act and has had great staying power. I think before this year started he was a fraction of the player he was. Since this is not a super bowl year I say lets use youth where we can without sacrificing the entire year. We still have soild players on defense and some potential on offense. Lets go for 8-8, maybe 9-7 and plant the seeds for a super bowl run in 2007!
  21. I feel the Bills are going to beat the Fish in their own playground too, I just wish we could get some respect, but I suppose that is earned by winning.
  22. And was it just me, or did the refs friggin blow the spots? It looked like the Bills made that 4 and 1, and the Pats did not make the 3rd and 10. NFL loves the Pats, and as many smarter than me have written, The Bills will not get respect until they start having wining ways once again.
  23. With MArv back, "Squish the Fish" week will have a little more meaning - I think TD and MM lost a bit of the tradition.
  24. I like the posts predicting a upset better
  25. Shaud ran with heart! I think he is a good member of the RB core.
