  1. Good point - as much as the team rips my heart out, I only get 16 weeks of them and it never seems to be enough.... except in 2005, that was more than enough.
  2. Compaired to the guys we have now, I would love to have Ruben back, but prior to this realization he always pissed me off by killing any good drive with a friggin false start penalty. Whenever a Bills O-lineman has a false start during a critical drive we refer to it as the Ruben Brown moment of the game.
  3. Linemen, Linemen, Linemen - fix the trenches and the team improves 100% As for Clements, I am unsure if he is worth keeping. Maybe I don't see enough when watching the game, but it appears he hits rather than tackles and gets burned in coverage way too often and doesn't even have good INT stats.
  4. No - put we are getting close
  5. Jaroun doesn't put on pads and hit. The plans were not great, but our trench players are not up to par. We need some weight on the Nose and some BIG Otackles, like Wolford and Ballard. THAT is the major difference and shortcoming this team has.
  6. Oh lord, can it get worse? I mean the back to back 2-14 sucked - are we talking that flavor of bad?
  7. TH was a nifty running and a good member of the team. I have no anomosity towards him. The Titans apparently has a better Oline than we do... ain't rebuilidng fun!
  8. You can't start another QB. This is a go-nowhere season and we have to know once and for all if JP if going to be the Bills QB. So far, he has shown flashes of ability, but has also cost the team wins. As bad as he can get, having absolutley no back side protection on the line makes this an unfair evaluation. Any QB needs a line. Bledsoe needs a friggin trench and levy, JP needs at least 5 seconds with a seal on the left side. Kitna who is not as talented as JP had all day and made solid, deadly completions. I would suggest everyone get off the JP bashing for the season since I think we are stuck with him. If he doesn't improve we have to get someone in the draft or perhaps Graig Nall? And if not JP, then how many years until we find a QB and how many MORE years of rebuilding do have to face before we can have a team that doesn't embarrass the fans!
  9. This was supposed to be the showcase, after getting smakced by the Bears. We are still so rebuilding. This is going to be another painful year!
  10. The Bills should smack down the halpless Lions. You dont get respect beating up the bottom of the barrel. Beat the Pats next week - Booyah!
  11. Hate the Fish, but once the uniform is off, you can respect the player.
  12. THAT IS FUNNY! TK is good for MNF, he knows football, he can form complete sentances and has reasonable opinions. Theisman is a pompus ass who speak with an air of arogance which is just too painful to watch. Sean Salisbury is less annoying, if not by much.
  13. I am not trying to compair the 91 Bills to this team, but even during those years, we managed to gte our asses kicked. For example KANSAS CITY 33, BUFFALO 6 "Monday Night Football and a trip to Kansas City greeted Buffalo in week 6. The Bills were crushed under the weight of their own mistakes. Five Buffalo fumbles and six sacks of Jim Kelly were more than enough to give the Chiefs a resounding 30-6 win." Even good teams get beat bad, it just so happens this team is a work in progress and if they are able to refocus, they should be able to go to Detroit and lay wood down on an injured and not good, Lions team.
  14. Not what he was saying, just like school uniforms, if you look good, chances are you perform better. The only way tradional Bills uniforms would have helped us today was if they were filled with traditonal Bills (Wolford and Ballard would be a good start). Needless to say an ass-whooping like this looks worse in these ugly not even world leauge of American football unis.
  15. Any who did drank too much of the kool-aid. I am a JP billiever and I think by the end of this year he will be a good QB, this year though he has a lot to learn, and I hope he learned alot today.
  16. "You know, for a moment there, yeah, yeah I did"
  17. I hope you are right... And I think it's time you change your auto-signature
  18. Nothing better than Fish in turmoil! The sad part is, Marv would have kept him. We should all thank Mike for being so nuts so we can bring in a compotent coach!
  19. 15 years old, sitting in my parents living room cheering my voice out! I loved it when the fans filled the field and took the goal post!
  20. ESPN hasn't given the Bills much love in years, in part, the team hasn't garned any respect so why give coverage. But too true, they get hooked on sexy headlines and then beat it to death. As if ESPN hasn't given enough coverage to the TO/Eagles match up this week!
  21. I get to go into work happy on Monday and watch ESPN on Sunday night
  22. I know I ain't burning up the posts, but couldn't you have said something intelligent with #16?
  23. JP goes into Soldier Field and plays a great game, win or lose he has earned some swagger. He really should wait and complete a season and if we aren't hollering for a new QB, he has EARNED a swagger. If the Bills go in to Chi town and stink up the joint, then well, maybe the cockiness should be dialed down. "Your shower shoes have fungus on them. You'll never make it to the bigs with fungus on your shower shoes. Think classy, you'll be classy. If you win 20 in the show, you can let the fungus grow back and the press'll think you're colorful. Until you win 20 in the show, however, it means you are a slob." Crash Davis in Bull Durham
  24. Da Bears are the more advanced team at this point. Bills are doing a damn good impression of the 1987 Bills who just missed the playoffs. The Team are closer than stats show, but that is the nature of the NFL... any given Sunday. IF the Bears do not take this Bills team seriously, then they could be in for a very long day. I expect the Bills to hang in the game and make it a match. A couple of good breaks and I can see the upset. This ought to be game of the week
