What he may have lost in distance he makes up for in hang time. If anything, he was the most consistent and popular player of the BIlls for the past 13 years; I am happy to see him come back and have a graceful exit as opposed to what he got in 2012. He will provide solid leadership to a young team too.

IF he is healthly, then I would use him on nickel/dime situations. He has got to have rust, even at 100% and as others have pointed out, this is a new scheme If he handles it, then I would make him a starter the next Sunday.

It just feels like 1987, we could be on the cusp of a Bills revival. I am a Bills fan, like my Father before me, and yes, there is another as my sister bleeds Bills blue too! It is still way too early, but this feels like the real deal.

EJ is doing alright, but for god sake can we do not have penalties at critical times? Its like the Reuben Brown Memorial penalty! Go Bills!

I just read the story on the Bills web page and it seems a touch like the 1993 championship game when Marv wasn't sure Kelly would be playing due to his knee. After the game, the press asked Marv if he was playing "possum" given Kelly looks fine on his "runs" or as fine as Kelly ever looked running. We are two weeks away from opening day, Kolb is a hot mess and could possibly be a last day cut since Leinhart can hold a clip board just as well as Kolb and is less fragile. EJ could be the day 1 starter if he can practice next week. If not, lets hope the offense's system works and Tuel Time can be as memorable as Doing the Reich Thing!

Worst Thread Ever

dear G-D, before the draft, before camp, a day after the start of free agency every chicken little is crying about the sky falling. No doubt this team will not be good; but they might be decent. They might be the worst team ever or they might be a wild card, or even something in-between. Let's all just relax and wait. We will have plenty of time to B word after camp opens. Until then, happy almost spring!

I liked Fitz, sorry to see him go even though it might be the right move. Class act and awesome beard!

Ask him to restructure, make it incentive laden. If he starts, and does well, he gets paid. If Fitz believes in himself and the team, he suggests the deal.

Bills easy! At 41 I can remember when the Bills were the dominate team in the NFL, but as Rick Springfield sang "But if memories were all I sang, I rather drive a truck", Bills and Lions both have to find ways to stop disappointing their fan base.

This might just be me, but this feels like the worst Bills team we have seen since 1999. I know we have some talent, and that we should be better than the teams of recent memory, but I watch them and just have no confidence. I like Fitz too and feel he could be the type of QB who could guide the Bills to a Super Bowl, providing they had a dominate running game and a lights out defense. When Baltimore and Tampa Bay won, they did not have a QB who was great Like Kelly, Elway, Marino. In fact if you look at all Super Bowl winners you did not have a hall of fame QB. Does anyone think Jeff Hostetler or Doug Williams is going to be in THOF? The problem is Fitz is a decent; serviceable QB on a team that is still missing too many parts to be a contender.
