Should have been 2 of 4 (25&28). But now, 24 years removed I think the team has a stronger legacy losing 4 straight then they would have winning 1. It is amazingly difficult to go back to the Super Bowl. To lose the Super Bowl is perhaps the hardest loss in all sports; and the Bills came back 3 straight times having suffered devastating losses both by the slimmest of margins, and the biggest of blow-outs. No team has gone to 4 straight and I doubt any will. The dedication, commitment and fortitude of those Bills is honorable.

I think Tuel was more willing to go down field, and he seemed to find all the receivers. He made some bad throws, and the receivers made some heart breaking drops. Compared to Thad's last game I just think Tuel looked better. A healthy Tuel is better than a beat up Lewis. I am not saying I want him as our long term starter, but I think he is worth keeping on the roster for the time being.

Flynn has a bad habit of assuming the fetal position under pressure. Tuel did a good job all things considered, in fact he seemed to play better then Thad. If EJ is ready, its a moot point.

I look at this season as the new 1987. Bills just missed out on the playoffs as the majority of the core fine tuned. I expect this team to be a playoff contender next year. If they can keep the majority of the pieces in place and fill the holes, this team will have promise!

Tuel may not be starting, but the kid's got class!

Both side dealt with this unprofessionally. I see the bottom line as Byrd is hurt, but could have been playing. His attitude sucks. I found it convenient that he was ready to come back for the Bills first and only national game, and love that the coach benched him. This is a young team and Byrd won't be here next year; so if we can get a 2nd or 3rd round for him I'd say why not; unless you want to franchise him again as the ultimate FU.
