1.) *** f/MIN***- Donte Whitner S, OSU- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ntewhitner.html Think Antoine Winfield, but as a safety. 2a.) Mathias Kiwanuka DE, BC- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...askiwanuka.html I am shocked that he has fallen this far in many expert's mock drafts. I think he would be an upgrade over Kelsay/Denney. 2b.) ***f/MIN***- Jonathan Lewis DT, VTECH- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...athanlewis.html Solid, disruptive DT that could be a starter on day one. 3a.) Ryan O'Callaghan, OT, CAL-http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ocallaghan.html Solid run blocking OT that provides excellent depth. 3b.) Devin Hester, CB, MIA- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...evinhester.html Need many solid CBs for the cover 2, and he will be a solid CB. 4.) Fred Matua, OG, USC- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr.../fredmatua.html Provides depth for the O-line. 5a.) Leon Washington, RB, FSU- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...washington.html Has good hands and is a quick back. 5b.) Brandon Marshall, WR, UCF- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...onmarshall.html This guy will catch some jump balls. (6'4) 6.) Lawrence Vickers, FB, COLORADO- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ncevickers.html A fullback that can practically do it all. 7a.) Jason Hatcher, DE, Grambling ST.- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...sonhatcher.html A sleeper at his position who could bulk up and play DT. 7b.) Manase Hopoi, DT, WASH- http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...anasehopoi.html Can play all Dline positions and had a good junior season.

Bunkley Pre-Draft Visit: Florida State defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley was on Sirius NFL radio today and confirmed he did have a pre draft visit to Buffalo last week along with Cleveland. He has more visits scheduled this week. Bunkley said he doesn't pay attention to pre-draft talk about where he'll go or won't go. Many people, including the latest mock draft by Mel Kiper, now says that the Bills may pick him. He is expected to still be on the board at #8 along with Wisconsin DT Haloti Ngata who also visited the Bills. Bunkley may be a better fit in the Bills two gap defense that requires smaller, faster tackles. http://www.billsdaily.com/news/index.shtml#041206 Also- Haloti Ngata attends Wisconsin

I remember watching him in this dunk competition and i was drooling over him, I would take him in a Bills uni any day of the week! I know he plays for Denver, but I'd give up a late round pick for him! Check out these dunks! http://www.streetballin.net/2005collegedunkcomp.html

That wasn't very nice! -
A good possible trade candidate for the Bills...

Hey, there is still Bunkley and Justice as possible candidates. -
Eagles | Team trying to trade up in the NFL Draft? Sat, 8 Apr 2006 13:39:08 -0700 Mark Eckel, writing for the Sporting News, reports the Philadelphia Eagles appear to be leaning to trading up in the NFL Draft. They currently sit in the No. 14 position. Their target appears to be Oregon DT Haloti Ngata. The 6-4, 340-pound Ngata would give the team a run-stuffing presence in the middle of the defensive line and could be a perfect complement to DT Mike Patterson.

My Bills Draft Picks predictions for this year.
2003 replied to 2003's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I looked at a draft value board and I took every guy in their correct value round. -
1. Brodrick Bunkley DT, FSU. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ickbunkley.html I remember when Marv was first hired as Bills GM and he was interviewed by WKBW. He emphasized that the D-line plays a huge role in the team. Bunkley has shown amazing athletic ability (44 reps and a short shuttle run that beats plenty WR's times). I think that Bill Kollar can transform this guy into a Pro-Bowl perennial player. Plus the Bills ranked 31 in rush defense last year! 2. Eric Winston, OT, MIA. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ricwinston.html Not only was he a vocal leader for his college football team, but he was one of the lone bright spot's on Miami's o-line. Before his injury he looked like an elite LT prospect. He is a very intriuging prospect. 3a. Daniel Bullocks, SS, NEB. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...elbullocks.html Has got great speed (4.38 40) and good size (6'0 212). I am pretty sure it is Mike Mayock who said this guy will have many solid years in the NFL. He will be a good challenge for Matt Bowen at the SS spot. 3b. Derek Hagan, WR, ASU. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...derekhagan.html The Bills now have a need for a large reciever now that Moulds left. Hagan is 6'1 and had a 36 inch vertical (not to mention, he ran a 4.45 40). He is a tough, smart player who runs solid routes. 4. Rob Sims, OG, OSU. http://ohiostatebuckeyes.cstv.com/sports/m...sims_rob00.html The Bills have not done much in Free Agency to fix up their O-line, so, the more rookies, the better. Rob Sims has good toughness and strength. He is also a very versatile prospect (played LT in college). Vic Carucci ranks him the #4 guard entering this year's draft. 5a. Jerome Harrison, RB, WSU. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...meharrison.html Better alternative backup running back than Shaud Williams. 5b. Chris Gocong, DE, Cal Poly Tec. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...hrisgocong.html He is a very intense player and has a nack to get into the backfield. (Gil Brandt ranks him as the #6 DE going into this year's draft.) 6. Rashon Powers-Neal, FB. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...powersneal.html Shelton is not getting any younger. 7. Chijioke Onyenegecha, CB, OKLAHOMA http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...nyenegecha.html He has good size (6'1) and the cover 2 defense requires a lot of DBs.

Hey that could get the Bills off to a good start. The Patriots lost a lot of solid players this year, and if the Bills beat a former dynasty, they'll have a huge confidence boost!
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You never know, Donahoe was willing to do anything to do good for the team.
-
I'm goin out on a limb here. I think the Bills got one of HOU's 3rds, but they gave up a late rd. draft pick, too.

Very Nice Analysis! -
Kiper on tonight's Sportcenter..first round mock
2003 replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
UGH! I saw this too! I would be kinda disappointed if the Bills went with a guys like Bunkley, Ngata, or Justice @ #8. I think the only guy that has the type of talent for #8 is Michael Huff. Now if the Bills were to trade to #15 and draft Bunkley, I'd be ecstatic! -
I'm not ready to give up on him!
-
Yea, now that I think about it, Losman did really good comared to qbs in their rookie year (palmer, a.smith,leftweich,etc...) and he didn't even have that many reps!
-
Now that the Bills are shopping JP, I feel that there is going to be a huge change in Buffalo. If Losman gets traded, the only two quarterbacks on the Bills roster will be Nall and Holcomb. I think that Marv isn't senile enough to start one of them. So, since the Bills aren't going to draft DT or OT @ #8, don't be surprised seeing them draft Vince Young or Jay Cutler.

He most likely won't be, so I did not include him in this poll.

Since the Bills will not draft an OT or DT, I'd go w/ mike huff! he's a playmaker and the Bills could use a SS.

After reading this, I think the Bills should give up less for Walker: Packers | J. Walker selling his house; preparing to move on Sun, 26 Mar 2006 05:39:51 -0800 Ron Borges, of the Boston Globe, reports the Green Bay Packers opened their offseason workout program without unhappy WR Javon Walker, who put his house up for sale in Green Bay the day after the workouts began and enlisted the help of his parents to clean it out. Walker claims he'd rather retire than play a fifth season for the Packers. Green Bay is insisting it will not trade him.
-
I'd make that trade any day of the week! When healthy Javon Walker is a top 10 WR!! And what are we giving up for him? An aging Moulds? Our LAST 3rd round pick? A fourth round pick? What's Marvs Phone #? I have to call him up and tell him to pull the da3n trigger!

I think the Billd should go with Davis too. He could quite possibly become one of the best TEs in the game and make a huge impact for Buffalo. Lets face it, the Bills are rebuilding and I'd rather have a great impact player than a run stuffing TE.
