Come on youbooootay!! We need to get him some experience! -
Yea, let him walk so another team could waste a huge contract on a sub-par running back. mwuahahahaha

I think that WILLIS MCGAHEE IS OVERRATED. Yes, I said it, he is OVERRATED and I think the Bills should trade him. The Bills could probably get a late first, early second round pick for him and I think that would be a great value! Willis just doesn't have the heart that Marv Levy is looking for. He never breaks any tackles or finishes off his runs (and we all know that with the shape this guy is in, he could probably do some spectacular things, too). I think that Anthony Thomas has proved this immensely. He hasn't been able to stay on an NFL team the past few years, but he is making Willis McGahee look like a benchwarmer out there. Let's compare there numbers, shall we: ATT YDS YPC LNG TD A.Thomas 59 243 4.1 19 2 W.McGahee 154 579 3.8 32 1 With this being said, I don't think that Anthony Thomas should be the Bills starting back in the future. One guy I'd take over Willis is Michael Turner, but he is an RFA. But if the Bills were to sign him, I'd crap my pants with joy. Another guy I'd like to see the Bills take is Michael Bush. The guy was a Heisman candidate coming into the season and now the Bills might be able him in the second round. Some other prospects I'd like to see in a Bills uni are: Garrett Wolfe, Selvin Young, Alvin Banks, and Jon Cornish. GO BILLS!

Very Nice, The future does look very bright. Thank god you said something about Willis because I thought I was the only one who didn''t believe all of his hype. The Guy never seems to break tackles (like the A-Train). I do like Michael Turner, but I believe he is a restricted free agent. Maybe the Bills could take a look at a guy like Michael Bush in the draft and trade Willis. Then Bush could split time with the A-train his first year and develop into the successful Travis Henry like back we had in the past.

Why not draft a qb in the later rounds?? (Jamarcus Russell)

I agree 100% with everything you said. I think that Quinn is a lot like Losman, he is very athletic but he just doesn't have that intangible thing that makes great qbs. Also, I really like Jamarcus Russell.

worse, a JETS fan!
-
The only problem with this is that the Raiders blow and I don't want to get shot.
-
Yea, I'd take Blalock out of all those guys. What is your opinion on the Bills drafting a qb like Troy Smith in the mid rounds?
-
I've lived in Florida my whole life however my Dad brainwashed me at an early age about the Bills. I can't even go to school without getting mocked when I wear my Bills shirt. Now my girlfriend is not even speaking to me because she embarassed as well. I'm 16 years old and am looking for some advice. Please help!!

I think it would be great to have a team run by the fans! The fans all decide upon who their team will hire as head coach, draft, sign, cut, etc... All of the fans vote as to who they what they want there team to do. I think this idea could be genius!

It would be nice to see Marv have a draft...

hmm, he sounds like he could be the real deal. -
1st rd.) Trade the pick and move down to late teens, early 20s. (pick up another 2nd rder) 1st rd.possibilities: 1.) Justin Blaylock, OL TEX- our o-line blows. 2.) Levi Brown, OL, PSU-our o-line blows. 3.) Buster Davis, LB,FSU- Fletch could be gone, and this guy will be a stud. 4.) Sydney Rice, WR, USC- Big, physical reciever. Would be a great #2 target. 2nd rd #1,#2.possibilities: 1.) Doug Free, T Northern Illinois-our o-line blows. 2.) Aaron Sears, T TEN-our o-line blows. 3.) James Marten, T, BCU-our o-line blows. 4.) Aaron Ross, CB TEX- Nate Dogg will be gone, and this guy would prvide solid depth. 5.) Troy Smith, QB, OSU- (My #1 qb coming into the draft) He could be a true insurance plan in case JP never pans out. 6.) Drew Stanton, QB, MSU- Same thing as Troy Smith. *** I think that it would be very smart for the Bills to trade down in this draft and pick up some more draft picks. Picking o-linemen top ten is an extremely dangerous thing to do. Also, the extra picks will help the Bills address their other needs. *** I'm callin it, Troy Smith will be the steal of this draft. Granted, we all know that Troy Smith has the best team in the nation but check out his numbers: Cmp Att Yds % YPC LNG TD INT SACK RTNG 170 256 2191 66.4 8.56 58 26 4 12 168.69 Man, I would love to see this guys in a Bills uni.

The biggest mistake Ralph made was letting this guy get away. Take a look at what he's done with the Chargers. Lets face it until Ralphs willing to cough up some real money will be in this stage for along time.
-
I know where you're trying to go with this, but I have been about as high on gerrerd as a stoner that only had one asprin. Seneca Wallace seems to have that intangible something that only the solid qb's have (the thing that JP seems to be missing)
-
For some reason, I really like the guy. He is only 26, he's speedy and he looks to be a good player and leader. I wouldn't mind seeing Marv signing him this Off Season. Numbers (excluding today"s game) G GS Att Com % Yds TD INT RAT Rushyds Att 4 2 87 48 55.2 514 4 4 68.8 71 8

Let's compare last year's first seven games to this years. Rush Defense This Year 792 yds given up. My impression of this: The Bills may have a worse record than last year, but I think they are better off. JP has better numbers than he had last year at this time (although he only played in 4 games). He is also getting very valuable experience. Also, our rush defense has also improved greatly. With that said, I would say that the Bills are definitely improving. JP is getting more experince under his belt, the rush defense is improving, and the Bills are on pace to have another high draft pick this year ( ).

McFarland Was On Bills' Radar: Many thought that when the Colts traded for DT Anthony McFarland from the Bucaneers that he would have been a great fit for the Bills. He did play in the Tampa 2 which the Bills defense is based on. As it turns out, according to a report from the Sporting News, the Bills were interested in him. The report says the Bills were looking at trading Nate Clements to Tampa Bay for McFarland. When the trade fell through, the Bucs sent him to Indy for a 2nd round pick. The Bills would not part with such a high draft pick since there 2nd will be much higher then the Colts pick. They were probably willing to part with Clements since he is most definitely gone in the offseason as a free agent when they agreed to not use the franchise tag on him again. The Bills then went to plan B and traded for Anthony Hargrove who was in on two tackles in his Bills' debut yesterday.
-
Ok then who would you take as coach?
-
-
-The Bills need to clean house again! -Dick Jauron shows about as much emotion as a statue... The Bills need a vocal coach. (I'd take Dennis Green) -The Cover Two Blows, these players don't fit that system well at all. We used to have a great defense, let's go back to that style of play. -The only O-lineman I'd keep is Jason Peters. It is so obvious that a team wins at the o-line. Look at last year's Super Bowl Matchup, The steelers had arguably the best o-line in football and the left side of the Seahawk's o-line was a better blockade that the Great wall of China. These turnstyles for o-linemen suck. I'd go out in the off-season and pay huuuge money for o-linemen (i.e. Leonard Davis, Max Starks, Vincent Manuwai, Porkchop Wolmack.) I know how no free agent would want to sign with the Bills, so I'd offer them monster contracts, I wouldn't like a cheap as$ that rolls around in a Ford Taurus ( ). I'd also draft O-lineman, Joe Thomas looks like he will be a stud.
