The Chiefs are now 1-3 in the playoffs after beating the Bills
JP51 replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
actually 1-2 -
Anyone on the Bills you think could be traded?
JP51 replied to KentuckyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would say Rousseau, Oliver, Milano, Knox, Kincaid, Rapp, Anderson, Miller and Jones are all tradeable depending on whom is looking for what... Clearly to me Jones and Miller are too old really to bring in much, Anderson someone could be looking at like they did a Wyatt Teller saying I think this kid can play... Rapp someone might look at for a depth piece ... Oliver's contract and production dont match, but I could see someone who sees him better in their scheme... Rousseau and Kincaid would be the real "Chips" per se... but I dont think anyone is giving us a 1 or a 2 for those guys.. -
Bills expected to hire CB coach Pellegrino from Patriots
JP51 replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really dont know anything about this guys... but it is encouraging to see them doing something to address that problem that was our defense all year.... successful? We will find out but at least they are not running it back... -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
JP51 replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dont disagree 0 looked closer to an every down receiver than 1 injury derailed... ironic part is we thought it was Worthy that was gonna get beat down.. but they do take great care not to put him in that situation. -

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
JP51 replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still not convinced Worthy is a special player and will turn out to be more of a weapon than Coleman... Although if year 1 was round 1... Worthy won the round... in the end.. I just want Beane to stop trading with KC ... especially draft picks.. helping them get what they want to improve their team.. even if its not what we are looking for doesnt seem to make sense to me.... -

Full List of Bills' Current Selections in 2025 NFL Draft
JP51 replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that is exactly what happened... I know we are being mentioned for a 3 or 4 comp pick, but I do not believe we have a 3 this year. -

I thought we traded our 3... maybe I am mistaken... -
Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
JP51 replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am so torn here literally, what you say is 100% truth... we had the opportunity to win the game... we didnt. We are woefully deficient on Defense... it needs to improve... our defensive scheme seems old and stale and not matching our personnel... it needs to be looked at... I am glad that the team is not just blaming the officiating and looking inward.. That said... obvious calls that went against us that if they were called correctly impacted the game... we still could and maybe should have over come... but they were still a significant impact on this game and impacted the over all outcome... that doesnt mean KC doesnt pull another 13 seconds or play the game differently etc... but things in the game would have changed and we will never know how it would have played out... I hate this... for us and the sport... especially when it is right there on replay to see... In the end... look at your own self in the mirror.. control what you can control and win next time... regardless of the officials. -
Ryan Fitzpatrick: Hall of Famer? or First Ballot HoFer?
JP51 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just love that this is out there and has trended from 5 years ago LOL... that is all 🤣 -
Better. Happy for Josh, Happy for the new Defensive coaches... happy there is some level of hope in getting a game wrecker like Garrett or Crosby no matter how much of a longshot... happy to hear McD talk about needing a game wrecker... Happy so much attention is being placed on the officiating as I think no matter what the x files answer is it needs to get better... and actually optimistic that the NFL got Taylor to the SB and might just be fine with the Eagles winning it... so we get a reasonable officiated game... and like every year looking forward to how we are going to draft and sign FA ... even though we seem to fail there more often that I would like... there are successes...

Yeah, to me thats his... he can get the swag... he deserves it... Super bowl swag is the next I am gonna buy... just where I am at...

Happy for 17 great recognition for him... speech was packed, classy and to the point... great night for a deserving guy. Now lets win it all....

Bills Hire Ryan Nielsen Senior Defensive Assistant.
JP51 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
You can call it euphemistaclly what you like problem, continuous improvement, pre goal, opportunity to improve et al... defense isn't good enough and bringing a new set of eyes in in my opinion is very positive -

JP51 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let us pray.. Outside of bringing in a new DC... I dont care... I think getting a new set of eyes on the Defense is absolutely in order... have no idea if he is the one... I dont really know him... but I am with you on your premise.. at least they know they have a problem... that is the first step... so color me encouraged. -
Quite honestly, I think we are aligned.. for the most part Brady was excellent.. a couple games where he got schooled but for the most part glad he is here and staying another year... I think he will definately improve. Also, I love the adjustments that they made at the half... I just wish I would see better anticipation from the get go.. not many teams can spot points like we do and come back that easily.. although maybe it is by design... we would rather confuse them in the 2nd half when its more difficult to adjust? I dont know... the truth is out there lol 🤣

Anyone else for using our draft capital for trades?
JP51 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
yes at this point you need to pay for the experience after you have proven time and again thru the draft or FA that you are not good at it... -
Break tendency is the key... this is quite honestly from a Brady standpoint a bit of a flaw.. he really didnt anticipate how they would break tendancy well.. he does pretty well thru the season most times.. every now and again there is a clunker... However, Babich... this is my main concern with him... as evidenced by the fact our defense looks literally lost in the 1st half and it isnt until the 2nd when he makes adjustments that they settle down.. a bit.. until the 4th Q. At issue I believe is his inability to anticpate what other folks will do in response to our defense... how they will expose it.. and then EFFECTIVELY plan for that... he may do it but its not effective... he in not a defensive genius or guru... mind you he also doesnt have the players he needs... but I honestly expect better from what we have... the regression of key players... (some due to age or injury I am sure) like Douglas, Oliver, Jones, Epenesa, Milano and the lack of next step development from others like Rousseau, Bernard, maybe Williams... is also concerning... either his scheme is not designed to their strengths, or he is just not an effective developmental coach.. or a bit of both.. Bottom line, with the proper coaching and coaches I think we are a bit better especially on D... the lack of anticipation from these coaches was evident in the KC game to me... it didnt flow.. seemed like a struggle all game... Brady, still young, I hope improves here... but Offensive genius he is not yet... Babich, I hope he takes a step of massive lessons learned this year... but in the end, I just dont see it.. too much there that seems to not work ... He may be better off as a position coach... and we may be better off with a DC stud that can reimagine this defense... and of course some upgrades just about everywhere... and a pass rush, ... well and a D Line that can keep people off of our LBs and Safeties... maybe some better coverage corners.. with depth... and a game wrecker.. ... LOL... ok I digress..
-
I would love to keep him just for his effect on the locker room.. but I also think he is very underestimated on a ST unit that was highly questionable.. as a receiver he is a big physical force... like put 20lbs on him and make him a TE lol... obviously strikes no fear into the hearts of a boundary CB covering him unless its a jump ball.. but seems to find a way to make a catch or 2 a game... sometimes big catch.. just like the dude. As a 4 or 5 WR...

Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly
JP51 replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never really thought about this... I like it... So, I don't hate them per se... I am happy to see a 9 am game and extend my football watching on Sunday... but speaking for me... its a bit of over exposure... like too much... what is the end goal... to have teams in Europe? I am not sure I would want that... I dont like what the travel does to my home team... its a big trip with lag both ways... happy to play a team coming back from say Germany the week before... so hate, no... but when it involves the Bills especially when we lose a home game for it... just not a fan.. I think the fact it is for the money and they are putting "our" sport on the road for more money.. that kinda rubs me the wrong way.... But to your point, I do wonder what the players think about it... like ... dude that was cool got to go to ... France or Germany ... Brazil whatever and see cool stuff... or are they like ... I hate this.. thats a long a$$ flight living for a week in a hotel room ... blah blah... I suspect its a mix... but I do wonder if its an over all net positive or neg for them. -
Eric Moulds for that matter too would have been great here with Josh... Lee could fly though... like a John Brown that had a complete route tree and great hands...

I go back to the early 70s... the transition of the league is similar to me to the transition in music when it was creative, raw and had this local feel to it... it then progressed to this processed, scripted, over played, entity that focused on the Dollar and not the music... I listen to the Who's good by sister disco... plastic, deaf, dumb and blind... I think the NFL is becoming plastic, deaf, dumb and blind... too full of themselves to think that they could ever be knocked off the perch... ok LOL that was a stretch comparison.. but on one cup a coffee its the best I got right now
