Nope bacon lettuce and tomato on my burgers So this is a scientific engineer who is smarter than I will ever hope to be. Kind and caring zero pretense and loves ideas that are so out of the norm that he just gravitates to them. Excellent Dad husband super positive and optimistic don't know anyone who ever had a bad thing to say about the man. Generous fun loving and VERY eccentric I enjoyed it cause I didn't get messy what people don't know is he brings a change of clothes to the game of the exact or similar to what he wears and changes after

Well if you know Kenny you know that he takes crazy challenges from all who propose them the crazier the better... thus it's really Kenny who deserves the limelight lol I was just a prop with an idea lol 😆 You have obviously never done a bowling ball shot, crushed chips with the Cornell state marching band playing Louie Louie, crushed grapes with your feet and made wine destroyed old TV sets in a new way each game etc... some of the traditions Kenny has are far more insane than that Didn't have the same joyeux de vive lol

Calling it now: You're all about to witness the arrival of Shakir
JP51 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not taking away... cause you were not wrong... but I am categorizing this Shakir season as a pleasant surprise.. I feel like he was going to produce well given the increased focus... and he did.... maybe even a little nicer than we expected... but no his is not the 2nd coming of Nacua either... hopefully he has some more in that ceiling... but for his 1st real year as a focal point well done 10. -
Jets begin Coaching Search in the most Hysterical Way Possible

Rex! Rex! Rex! Rex! !!!! wondering if Rich Kotite is available LOL -
I am not sure if anyone cares or is interested in knowing... but I will write it and if no one cares we can delete it... but it is such a fun niche in Bills tradition... It was 2 days before Christmas in 1990, the Bills were playing a huge home game against the hated Dolphins... So, all traditions and superstitions were on full display... no one willing to break any one of them. Kenny J (Pinto Ron) had a tradition of eating a Hamburger cooked on a shovel with ketchup before every game... only... this game... Kenny forgot his ketchup... he came to me in a panic... "JP51!! you have to find me some ketchup!!! " so I went to the tailgate next to us and told them and they went into the Mobile home and produced a 12 oz bottle of Heinz ketchup... I came back to Ken with the ketchup and said... how about I get on the hood of the Pinto and squirt the ketchup on your burger that way... Kenny said Brilliant... so, to no fan fare or anything I got on the hood of the Pinto and squirted ketchup towards the burger... well. 20mph winds had different ideas as none of the ketchup was going on the burger... but all over Kenny .... and the cheering started... I literally had to get down off of the Pinto and shake the last vestiges of Ketchup on the burger to keep with tradition... We won... Next week Kenny comes with a 36 oz bottle of ketchup and says we have to do this again... so up I went... and used the "Blind and Blast" technique... nail his glasses so he couldnt see... then blast him with Ketchup.... and a tradition was born... as time went on we moved to a 64oz bottle, and crowds of people chanting Ketchup Ketchup Ketchup... news crews coming to film etc... then one day (me being about 235lbs at the time the roof of the 80 Pinto dented.... worried about the sustainability of the roof and wanting to continue the tradition... in the offseason Kenny tore the underside of the Top out and reenforced it with steal... (true Story lol) as time went on, Mustard and relish and other condiments were brought in and you have the ceremony in its present form... And that my friends is the rest of the story....

Yes as well as a guy like Drew Lock tanking his chance at starting so he can get cut and the Giants get a better pick to draft his replacement... i get the thought but not so much agree with it
-
I do think that the GM is best making those decisions and not the fans lol
-
I don't disagree with your premise at all, just not sure why you attached my post to it... i mean that's fine but I wasn't suggesting a coaching change nor was I talking about the head coach. My post was related to Babich and the need for both the Defensive Personnel and the Coach both to improve. Whether that is internally or by addition in the off-season or what ever I would look for significant scrutiny in the off season from the FO on the d performance this year
-
I agree I think he is more of a problem than a solution... that said interior DL and Saftey position must be addressed in off-season maybe even edge need some help here... babich or personel I think a bit of both

The Bills beat the Jets because of you... (superstition/karma reasons)

Roast Beef is 6 -0 at home .... I of course had Roast Beef ... my friend was like I am getting sick of Roast Beef !... I looked at her with a psycho killer stare... and in the most evil gutteral voice said.... it eats the Roast beef when it's told..... needless to say there was no more discussion on that topic... -
Early 90s SB years back to back games against the Jets and Raiders got out at Pinto Ron's tailgate and one of the guys that was an army ranger smeared medicated vasoline on my face and said it's minus 35 wind chill your face will freeze in 3 minutes without it lol... we had to hold our beers over the burn barrel to stop them from freezing when we pulled them back to drink they immediately became slush and then we held them over the barrel again... I think I went to bourbon at something lol

I do think player performance is a problem... Especially with Oliver and Jones... and likely Miller although he is better this year than last.... but I also thing you have a completely new Safety tandem, Floyd is gone, Williams is new and Bernard cant hold it all down. Pass rush with 4 is non existent, OL dominating DL and small LB getting manhandled. Its a combo of both for sure. Babich I do think is a problem, but not for the reasons most think... I think if he had the personell he would be ok. I just dont think he has the moxie to adjust scheme based on skill... I think that the safety tandem and the LB getting mauled especially their pass coverage dictates that we only rush 4 and keep an extra DB out. I have never seen Taron Johnson on the field so much and so critical to the D when he isnt... I have no idea what you do about it now... other than go for broke and become a high percentage Blitzing team and hope that you dont get killed.. but our Defenses death by 1000 paper cut focus is not stopping anyone and keeping Allen off the field... maybe its better to give up a big play or two and get to the QB... I just dont know.

All this focus on MVP, I really think he wishes it would just go away and focus on winning the SB... MVP or not he knows that is the ultimate measure...
-
Yes I remember when you played a 3-4 or a 4-3 with Lineman and the linebackers blitzed an rushed off the edge... Bryce Paup was an LB and bigger than some of our DLs... Cornelius Bennett... etc... now you have literally 4 LBs on the field, 2 small, 2 larger (Edge Rushers, I believe Von was drafted as an LB) ... and an extra DB... to combat the pass happy NFL... seems like there is a bit of resurgence in the running game as of late... I wonder if we see adjustments in the next offseason or two.

I wasnt even alive at this point... but I sure knew about it from my Dad and Uncles, almost like I was there.

Will He Reinvent Himself: Coach Sean McDermott
JP51 replied to waterglass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Run game D is bottom of the league, pass rush with 4 is a huge problem with Pass D giving up 3rd and longs and not getting off the field, I also think our safeties are less than all world.
