I do like the lack of respect... always relished the underdog role... less because I think it makes us more prepared... more because hopefully the other team gets a bit more complacent then they should... sometimes it works out sometimes it doesnt.. but I will take any little smidgen of help we can get at this point.

I am agreeing here... these guys can get you every which way but loose... I think you identify your strength... shore up you weakness recognize they will move the ball and shut them down to FGs in the red zone. I do not think a re imagination of the defense at this juncture buys you much against their attack. You have to step up and make plays sure... get turnovers sure... but to me the bottom line is the Offense needs to score TDs to win this game... if you can play Red Zone defense you can win. Our offense needs to beat their Defense worse then their offense beats ours... simplification I know but thats how I see it playing out.

I agree need a dominant 1t and edge... going back to the Superbowl days... Bruce was an absolute train wrecker... teams had to game plan around him... and everyone... benefited from him being there... Biscut, Conlan, Talley... I mean we got away with Jeff Wright at NT... so, I really dont care where the focus is per se... getting a dominant D linemen (1t or edge) if we can somehow would be immense... Rousseau single teamed if its a 1t LB's not getting mauled... if its an edge Safeties and CBs not having to cover for 4 or 5 seconds... I think that was the idea when we went all in on Von... worked out minimally but not like we thought... but how ever we get said person I do think it is pretty critical
