It's funny how this thread and a couple others sum up my issues with the Bills. I just don't think you can beat 3-4 good teams in the playoffs with this defensive philosophy, especially with these players. Each one is good to decent, but they lack the size and "difference makers" to shut down good teams when it matters.
There is no way McDermott is losing his job. My plan is just to draft almost all defensive players. Bigger interior dudes are preferred. Maybe a couple will hit.
We are lucky to have these problems as a franchise, but McDermott's defensive philosophy and poor strategic decision-making doom us to earlier then desired playoff exits. Welcome to Marty Schottenheimer 2.0.
