  1. Allen is pressing with this pass rush pressure. Meanwhile, all the pieces are falling into place for Cincinnati, which is not good.
  2. Dawkins smoked two plays in a row
  3. Haven't seen him on the field yet now that you mention it
  4. If Epenesa played the Jets every week, he'd be a rich man.
  5. That could have been caught by Coleman, but Allen should have thrown the shorter option.
  6. This defense playing this way is not capable of winning the AFC.
  7. McConkey produced in college at a very high level program. No surprise he produces in the pros.
  8. Just this chart alone is worth the price of admission. Not surprised to see O'Connell and Reid in the upper right. Vikings are a well coached team: see Darnold, Sam. Nice to see Daboll making good decisions. McDermott is about where I'd expect, a bit less than a coin flip success rate and a median number. Small sample size, but I'd bet he's been a little better this year. I hear what you are saying about scraping data. I have a little personal experience with that starting years ago and it can be touchy. I'd bet a paid site would be unhappy at best, I too would steer clear of that here.
  9. Looks very cool. Let us know when you get it hosted. Thanks!
  10. This year it seems like opposing offensive linemen are often getting to the 2nd level to get clean blocks on the LBs more than previous years. So that's on the interior DL. The LBs also seem to be less able to shed blocks.
  11. Bills 24 Jets 17 If we go at least French vanilla. Full on lactose free vanilla and we get beat.
  12. Hopefully the offense will be at least French vanilla this week rather than just plan old vanilla.
  13. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to matter
  14. Hope Steelers win but Mahomes led Chiefs have blown out Steelers last few years.
  15. I sorta doubt this will happen, but we'll see. IMO, if he was going to be the future CB2, he would have been active for all games this year. When everyone is healthy, he often gets scratched. Maybe the coaches just don't want him on special teams if he is a backup CB, but it's still weird to me. He's a really good athlete but he just doesn't get his head around consistently when the ball is in the air. Ball awareness is a good term I suppose. There are many people playing college football that are just like this. Elam seems to not be able to make that step. If you don't, you can't play in the NFL.
  16. I haven't re-watched the game, and given the holiday week probably won't. Watching the game it sure seemed the Pats threw to Elams side a lot more than Benfords. I read that Douglas said he could have played against Detroit. It'll be interesting if they put in more defensive starters against the Jets. Maybe it'll depend on the Steelers/Chiefs result this Wednesday and whether the #1 seed is even still in play by next Sunday.
  17. Agree, look bad. Looks especially bad against the Patriots. I almost got confused which team was which at my advanced age.
  18. Maybe I missed this in other threads, but I have an honest question from yesterdays game. Has the coaching staff or anyone else indicated why Spector was starting instead of Williams? Does Williams still have a lingering injury? I know opinions vary on a lot of topics on this site and elsewhere (it's ok, kinda fun with all the highly engaged fans), but I don't think I'm stepping out too far on a limb to say that Williams is better than Spector. My not so hot take might be Spector is in the running for least effective player on a not too effective defense lately...
  19. Yeah I'm totally with you on the #1 seed, I just have little hope it'll happen. The Bills should win both if they play better than yesterday. However I just don't see KC losing to Pittsburgh and Denver the way this year has gone. KC has been really lucky and they are super clutch when needed. The biggest things are I don't want to play Cincinnati (unlikely) in the wild card and am definitely not at all looking forward to Baltimore (likely) in the divisional round.
  20. Yup, changes need to happen for the Bills to have a good chance in the playoffs. There are always bounces and strange things that can happen in any one game, but beating 4 good teams in a row is almost impossible with a defense like this.
  21. Pats played a lot of man coverage. We were fortunate on turnovers. Very ugly. But it was a W.
  22. Can't even turn his head around most plays and continues to be grabby. Pretty clear why he's been inactive many weeks.
  23. Sure Andreesen can't be worse than Spector? Time to send a message IMO.
  24. This is the worst defense I've seen in a while. Spector is useless. Von can't finish anything. Zone is getting killed. Early blitzes ineffective.
