Stay the course my friend! They'll get over it. Its kinda like a frat here. The newbees get shamed and blasted (some deserved), but the usual's and long tenured can post all kinds of things and no one says squat to them.

I welcome your opinions brudda! I read your post and didnt think anything was wrong with it. I too have thought about the fact that we lost all of our SB's to the NFCE. If and when we get there this year, we aint losing to either of them unless Josh isnt playing in the game, which he would with One arm and no legs if he had too.

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Whats crazy to me is how there are some (Clark) himself that stated that Lamar, out of the many other great, current Black QB's most identifies with the Black community, which is a slap in the face to Hurts, Stroud, Daniels, Love, Geno Smith, and many other Black QB's. I ask myself, why? Is it because Lamar wears Grillz? Clark is part of the problem that tries to rope in the Black community with stereotypes and there are not many that agree with his BS in the community. Lamar has 2 MVP's already, which the second one i dont agree with, so if it was a Black/White thing, then he wouldnt have even won any. He is praised way more than Josh is by most. Good thing is Lamar himself is a top tier human being and would never get caught up in BS that Clark and others stir up. Josh Allen loves Lamar and respects the heck out of him, going as far to state that he is one of the greats and he was honored to share the field with him. Clark needs to be fired from ESPN and moved over to CNN with a show that starts at 2AM on weeknights! I actually despise RC more that the other dipstick that said he couldnt stand Josh because his fans have American Flags and Dogs as their avatars. -
I lived in Baltimore working for the Orioles at Camden for several months. Buffalo and Baltimore are similar in many ways. Both cities have had our fair share of losing industries, crime and drugs ravaging our once beautiful cities, as well as being looked at as a Third tier city and treated ignored by our government because we arent DC, or NYC. You all have had more success than we have over the past 20 years or so, with at least 2-SB wins. Imagine being us, always on the cusp, but never quite good enough (or lucky enough) to actually win it all.

I'd take a 1-year flyer on him. I doubt he wants to play much beyond a year. I dont believe the Chargers will pay him big, so he will have to take whatever they give him, which probably wont be much more than 8mil, which i would pay to have his vet presence, as well as his productivity. Von wont be back with us and there are some prospects on the draft, but we will be taking a DT with our 1st and after that it will be CB and WR with both 2nds if we keep them, so we are looking at a 4th round project DE most likely, which is fine if we have Mack, or even better Kendricks.

Good stuff! The way to get past all that is just to keep a positive mindset. Visualize us celebrating on their field and watching Mahomes pout and storm off the field, while Kelce gives Josh props and wishes us good luck in the SB. Stressing it aint gonna do much for you, except stress you out bro. Keeping the positive mindset and visualizing us winning convincingly will manifest this victory.

Not nervous at all. This is the most confident ive ever been facing them. Yes, they aren't the team that we beat earlier in the season and the have most of their weapons on offense back healthy, but we are also different and are somewhat healthy as well. Josh and Brady just have to game plan for heavy blitzes. I would love to see a lot of play action and roll outs for Josh.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
jaybeezee replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are right about the psychological aspect of beating a team that ends your season consistently, but after that Ravens game, I believe that Coach McD is ready and has the team ready. What a great start to 2025 this will be when we beat them in their house. Most of America is already rooting for us to do this! -
He had 17 sacks in 2023/2024 season. I know he only had 6 this year, but they did change up their Defense this year. I agree that it is a risk, but watching him play in the post season showed me that he still has some juice, plus he doesnt have the injury history that Von does. Plus he would have to want to be here and from the way the he sounded, he would likely prefer to stay in LA.
-
I would be onboard taking him for a year. I think he has just enough left to make a difference and would be a suitable, potentially affordable replacement for Von. This would bring his career full circle. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/43518964/source-pass-rusher-khalil-mack-decides-play-2025

This year??

It's not negative to address an area that we may need to focus on going into our biggest game. He will be targeted quite often by KC.
-
Neither did Milano, Bernard, but what I saw was them target his area and the people he was covering more than anyone else in coverage. Again, I didn't say he was trash, I just stated that he will targeted in KC. Keep receipts if you like. Being a liability does not mean that he sucks.
-
No need for insults. I promise you wouldn't call me that to my face This wasn't an negative post! I didn't day he cost us a game, or to cut him now. I just said that he is a liability in coverage and Mahomes will target him.
-
Watch the all 22 and tell me that he wasn't the target on several crucial plays.
-
This is what I was saying and it is a liability. People act like I said to cut the man! Talk about sensitive.
-
I didn't say he sucks, but he was covering the late td, as well as the huge first down. He is a warrior and I never doubted his work ethic.
-
I know there are many who love Taron, but imo is is a major liability. He gave up big play after big play and I am positive that Mahomes and Reid will target him. It's not just this game, but there have been many this year that he gives up a big play.

Personally, this Ravens matchup is my "McDermott Game."

You left out McVay as well. I would be pleased if he at least got us to a SB. Preferably won it all, but at least got us to one like Taylor did with the Bengals. -

We know enough to know when we get bounced every year that it's time for a change. Great teams have done it in the past and won titles. It might be what we have to do as well. Or we can continue to waste Josh Allen in his prime and run the excuse that " it's hard to win in the NFL" while we have some noodle armed QB running the show when Josh retires. Let's not forget that this is the same coach tgat thought it was best to start Petterman in a playoff game. Then bring him back tge next season as well. -

Just because he beats the Chiefs in the regular season means squat if he cant beat them when it matter the most. If, and I hope a big IF we lose on Sunday, then that will be 3- different teams that came into our house and sent us packing for the season. I dont care if we lose our division and get in as a WC and get to the SB. I personally would want him gone if we at least got to One SB, win or lose, just get to One. It would at least show progress and give many of us hope that we can get there. -

Because he has also won SB's dude with the team that he is a coach of! Technically his defense is the reason that they have only 1 loss this year. It definitely aint because the offense was outstanding this year. McDs defenses have never won a SB. Ever!
