  1. He definitely looked better today. Just our luck he potentially starts rounding into form and might end up suspended or something… To be clear, not glossing over the horrible allegations surrounding him. If he’s guilty get him the eff off the team. Fingers crossed it’s not true.
  2. All fair points. I just still feel like it took a lot of time for these players to say anything outside Hyde until today. As others have pointed out repeatedly, if that’s my coach who I love and respect and I think he was slandered, I’m making a point to come out immediately to set the record straight. Forcefully. Point is, I guess we’ll never truly know how accurate Dunne was in capturing true player sentiment until years from now when this era is over, if we ever know.
  3. Well, I’ve seen enough. Give that man the MVP to help heal his boo boo. While we’re at it, throw in the Walter Payton because that on field “passion” really enhances his work in the community. Always thought he was oddly a way better person than his lowlife wife abd family somehow. After that pathetic display I guess we see he’s not so classy himself.
  4. Right back at you sir. Fair points. Like I said, it’s absurd to compare football vs. presidential corruption but I don’t hear anyone refuting the stories, even if players are saying the characterization of McD is slanted. Maybe I’m just over McD, but I also feel like they kind of have to defend him - are they really going to come out and say “yep, he’s an incompetent a*shole” at this point when they’re in the middle of the season abd fighting for a playoff run?
  5. Yeah. It was on local CBS in Philly not a streaming service and they just kept going with the Cleveland game. They didn’t even bother cutting over once the Browns were in victory formation and then even showed the handshakes instead of the Bills game. Infuriating.
  6. Same issue except I watched it directly on CBS network TV in Philly. So mad missing basically the first quarter and our first TD. At the very least they should have done a split screen. It’s not a youtube issue. CBS screwed the pooch.
  7. Yes and no. The article says in many places McD treats his coaches and administrative staff like crap. This is not the mark of a high integrity person. That does get to his character and if true rips back the curtain on the persona he presents to the public of a decent christian man. And if he’s not that great a person, what are we doing? I suddenly feel a lot less bad getting rid of him since clearly he’s not learning from his mistakes on the football side.
  8. Agree. Sure, it’s a hit piece in that it portrays McD and his leadership/behavior negatively. But bottom line though, if McD didn’t do any of what’s alleged, there’d be nothing to write about and this piece never gets written. As someone else said, you could call Bernstein and Woodward’s expose on watergate a hit piece too, but it doesn’t make it less valid. The whole point of the press is to hold those in power accountable (as objectively absurd as it is to compare the two situations of course!).
  9. I guess he could lawyer up, but the stories cited in the article would need to be untrue. The 9/11 fiasco was already confirmed to be accurate by McD. Not sure why Dunne would straight up make things up if he expects to stay in business or avoid such a lawsuit.
  10. Yes, but the statement itself seemed less enthusiastic than one would expect from a captain and longtime player under McD in my opinion. Also, a reporter shoves a microphone in his face after practice. What is he supposed to say?
  11. Exactly. Not exactly a ringing show of support by Hyde.
  12. Ok, argue, debate, whatever synonym you choose frame the exchange, your opinion is not indisputable nor is it fact. I think we’re good here.
  13. Here’s the thing though…it is arguable. Matter of fact, we’re arguing it right now. Not worth belaboring the point. Agree to disagree.
  14. I guess we have to agree to disagree. Maybe as a defensive captain he felt compelled, particularly as nobody else seems to be rushing forward. As someone else said, for a guy who’s been here 6-7 years under McD, It felt like he was going through the motions and saying the minimum expected.
  15. Disagree. I didn’t come away thinking there was a ton of passion. Felt like something he felt he had to say.
  16. Agree. The fact that Allen has not come in hot to defend McD yet, at least that I can find, is very telling
  17. While I'm not convinced McDermott should stay, this is very well said. I still think if McDermott can't show us something the rest of the way, time to move on and thank him for what he's done to turn the franchise around.
  18. Wowza, I was always a sceptic of bringing Daboll back (if even possible) to replace McDermott given his struggles in NY and McDermott’s history of relative success. Just finished the whole article and half of it’s true, McD truly has to go after this year latest and we need to figure out a way to get Dabes back, or at least get a couch who will put the focus on building around Josh as it should be. Yeeshhh
  19. This. Except all whites, not a fan of same color pants and jerseys…it’s just too much, especially if your colors are bright blue and red.
  20. He and Bills brass had different ideas about tight ends. Hey-ohh!!!
  21. Kincaid is like if MarQueis Gray and Jason Croom had a baby, but that baby got on the field and was good.
  22. Von’s gotta be a scratch. Forget the off the field stuff, which is of course awful. Dude is a waste or space right now on the field until proven otherwise. This is a perfect chance to get him off the field for a multitude of reasons.
