First thought went to oh god, are they going to make a play for Hendrickson now? But, if the working theory is that Cinci has no interest in trading him to us, they probably have even less interest in moving him to KC unless they get absolutely blown away with an offer they can't refuse (and if that were to happen, hopefully KC would have to give up so much it ends up biting them. Bonus points if they get him, pay him 30+ apy and he does his best Von ACL impression).

Was going to boycott the game and had a change of heart at the last minute. SO glad I did. That was GLORIOUS to behold and I loved every second!

Sad to hear. One of the poster children of the drought years, but seemed to be a genuinely good guy, and as others have said, its not like he had much to work with during his time here. During training camp one year I'm at a Barnes and Noble and look over and there is he is by himself, totally unassuming over by the checkout desk trying on some reading glasses. I went over to say hi quick, and he couldn't have been nicer. RIP and condolences to his family.

Love the full weekend of football! That said, most of the Saturday & Sunday matchups with the exceptions of Rams/Cards, Broncos/Bengals and Packers/Vikings are not super compelling just looking at the matchups at face value. I suppose a few get more interesting factoring in potential playoff implications but still. Wonder if there's any chance we get moved into the late afternoon or Sunday night slots.

Selfishly hoping if the stars align and we make it to the big game, its not against Philly. I live in Philly and walk around pretty much every day with some sort of Bills gear on. I generally get a lot of genuine support since we're not a rival and people here seem to like the Bills, but I imagine that will all change drastically if we end up squaring off for all the marbles. Definitely don't want to be public enemy #1 here in Philly leading up to the game and if we win, and definitely don't want to deal with the gloating if we lose lol. Plus, Philly just scares the crap out of me with their elite lines, run game and pass catchers that are likely to give our defense fits. Would want to see Detroit or even Minnesota, given if we lost to either of them I'd at least feel good for that fanbase getting their long-awaited title.
