disingenuous? I think the text is pretty clear, and sure it makes sense to me. This “buying in” and accusatory tone of your writing as if you are the arbiter of truth. I shouldn’t be surprised since you write like this all the time, but still surprises me. This doesn’t seem like a hard concept, similar to brains and minds. Brians are the physical object, and the mind is that structure working. Which is similar to the definitions I posted, for clarity rather that my belief since there seemed to be (and obviously still is) confusion about what the word gender means.
