Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
ProcessImproverMan replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a family member who used to work as a Bills scout and another member who scouted for the Jets. Both worked decades ago though. I know the process some. Unfortunately no ins considering Ralph Wilson is dead and other different ownership in NY Can't give names though as it would out me online. -

I had Josh Allen tied with Baker Mayfield as best QBs in the draft. I then had Mason Rudolph third , Lamar Jackson fourth , Sam Darnold 5th (I don't trust USC QBs) and Josh Rosen 6th. -

I'm not a pro scout but I hit on Metcalf while Beane took Cody Ford ......and I hit on Jefferson over Diggs (watched a lot of LSU football over the years)......And I have Legette and Thomas (could have easily traded up for him) over Coleman. If I am correct with these guys, well I should be hired .. -

I swear some people who defend Beane are the types of people who would gladly work for Pravda and defend evil tyrants like Putin. -

We lacked receivers who can separate and we draft N'Keal Harry 2.0 when Legette was there yesterday. Beane is officially a dumb ***** when it comes to selecting receivers. -
Do You Like What Beane Did in the First Round?
ProcessImproverMan replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trust the process. Beane has a long track record of bringing in elite WRs like Kelvin Benjamin, Terrelle Pryor, Tavon Austin, Marquez Stevenson, Ray-Ray McCloud, Brandon Powell, Justin Shorter, and Austin Proehl. Beane also has a long track record of bringing in elite defensive talent like Ed Oliver, Kaiir Elam, Boogie Basham, AJ Epeneza, Gregory Rousseau, etc who cant even sack or Int Mahomes once in the playoffs. Trust the process. -

Diggs traded to Texans for picks
ProcessImproverMan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I attended many games last year and it was clear watching Diggs that he really had lost it the second half of the season. He is also known for disappearing during key playoff games and choking (see drop last year against KC, some other boneheaded plays (fumble) and lack of separation). This move should free up a lot of cap space for us next year to reload. This draft is also receiver heavy so we will get someone. We may have a bit of a drop off this year but we will be much better off in the future. -
Seeing the refs largely allow offensive lines to get away with murder during the playoffs where top defensive linemen are often neutered by uncalled holdings, go wide receiver. We need to take advantage of a league that favors offense and finally give Allen multiple legitimate threats at receiving core. Drafting another defensive lineman in the first who will be neutered in the playoffs is the wrong move. Go wide receiver first and make defenses really fear our offense.

Moody is no choker like Bass.

To think we could have had Warner instead of Edmunds....

With Kelces emotional outbursts.....gotta watch out for Taylor. She may have a black eye tomorrow.

Allen, the Super Bowl "window," and the KC hurdle
ProcessImproverMan replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. Allen had basically the greatest post season run statistically the year of the 13 seconds game. Brady didn't approach those stats during his super bowl runs for a stretch of post season games and neither did Manning. The difference is both teams had a defense that could bail them out at different points, especially at times when the offenses looked bad (Manning had poor statistical post seasons both years he won the Super Bowl and Brady had some poor statistical games where the run game and defense carried him) , while Allen couldn't even rely on his defense to stop the Chiefs for 13 seconds one year and on his defense to even sack or INT Mahomes once. McDermott still had first round picks playing on the defensive line against the Chiefs this year and our top secondary players playing and couldn't sack or INT Mahomes ones. Year in and year out McDermott is given more resources for his defense than the offense gets and yet without Allen pulling so many wins out of his ass, we would be terrible record wise. Hell Allen left the field 4x with the lead this year for the Bills defense to then blow every game at the end.
