MNF Thread Jets at 49ers - CMC INACTIVE
ProcessImproverMan replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Also his play was uninspiring enough to let us learn the valuable lesson that the grass is not always greener with a back up QB (Peterman) -

Well either the 49ers offense is that good or the Jets defense is that bad surprisingly. -
MNF Thread Jets at 49ers - CMC INACTIVE

The play was originally ruled a catch and 49ers didn't need to use a challenge flag, which is odd. -
I think it depends on how many younger people turn out to vote. Roe vs Wade being overturned and Republicans trying to stop student loan forgiveness and an affordable payment program through the SAVE plan has caused many college graduates, particularly women, I know to register to vote for the first time. I've known a good deal of apolitical (20-30) year old people as a former educator until those two things happened. Republicans basically want to hit those people in the bedroom and their pocketbooks so it's pushing the needle some. These people aren't being polled either. Trump won in 2016 with independent women helping him and he's losing some of that and not gaining as many new ones it seems. As someone who is an independent who has some Democrat views (student loan forgiveness, healthcare), some Republican views (anti illegal immigration and want stricter border policies, pro military, pro police) and Libertarian views (military neutrality) Im voting Democrat simply because Republicans want to kill the SAVE plan im on, which would increase my student loan payments from about $120 per month to $275 per month. As someone who owes taxes every year who has helped bailout small businesses with PPP loan money that I and my employer did not need (program was funded by tax payers like me), who bails out people on Social Security who want to raise the age of it so people like me can die before collecting (social security is funded by current younger workers , it is not a bank account where one deposits money for later use), who bailouts foreign countries like Ukraine and Israel with my tax money and who has helped bail out banks and corporations with tax money......I think it's absurd Republicans say we "have to pay our own way" when I and others with student loans are still taxed by Republicans as well to pay for those things which are not "paying ones own way." If I could keep my Social Security contributions (aka not pay into it) and could get a huge tax break so I'm not bailing out others, fine I'll pay my own way, but since not , there should be some sort of student loan forgiveness. What I pay out in taxes and social security would have my loans paid off much quicker.

This is coming from a quarterback who has had to have a study clause in his contract due to his video game addiction (believed to be Call of Duty related) https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10047006-kyler-murray-opens-up-about-criticism-from-study-clause-in-cardinals-contract#:~:text=NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported, the deal was subsequently scrapped. :https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/weamew/a_statistical_analysis_of_kyler_murrays/ With the recent news of Kyler Murray's (recently rescinded) study hall clause, rumors are rampant that Kyler Murray plays too much COD. I was wondering what statistical validity there might be to these claims, so I scoured the internet for past 2XP events and other promotional events across all Call of Duty console games. For simplicity, I am referring to all COD promotional events (2XP, 3XP, etc.) as a 2XP weekend. I cross-referenced this data with Kyler Murray's stats from Pro Football Reference and compiled it here. Here are the results: Passer rating Murray's average passer rating on non-2XP weekends is 97.43 and 89.65 on 2XP weekends, showing a -7.77 difference on 2XP weekends. Passing yards Murray's average yards per game is 251 on non-2XP weekends and 245 on 2XP weekends, showing a -6 YPG difference on 2XP weekends. Completion percentage Murray's average comp% on non-2XP weekends is 67.29 and 67.17 on 2XP weekends, showing a -0.12% difference on 2XP weekends. Win-loss record Murray's record on non-2XP weekend is 18-16-1 (0.529) and on 2XP weekends it is 4-7-0 (0.360), showing a -0.169 win% difference on 2XP weekends. Conclusion: Kyler Murray's performance on 2XP weekends is worse in all categories. Clearly there is no explanation for Kyler's performance deficits other than that he's busy grinding for rare character skins and excessive amounts of XP. If you have any improvements to my shaky statistics work or if I missed an in-season 2XP weekend, let me know.

Daniel Jones leaving the stadium to intense heckling
ProcessImproverMan replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep, and Jones chose to play in the NFL, which comes with heckling and other forms of legal harassment from fans for poor play (nothing the fans said was out of line nor illegal - if fans start burning messages on his lawn or physically threatening him or sending death threats, then I will have a problem but until it crosses an illegal line, nope). Imagine if Jones was playing in Philly.........He got off easy....... -
Yep. If Trubitsky started yesterday, we get killed. If he was the guy last year, no way we win that Steelers playoff game (where Allen again took over) and no way we have the hot finish. Only other QB that would have us playing at the level we are now is Mahomes. Jackson has a lot more help in Baltimore and Stroud has alot more help in Houston than Allen does here. Burrow is significantly overrated it appears when Chase and Higgins aren't on it.

Injury Updates After Game - Arizona
ProcessImproverMan replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it's going to be a position that is really fixed in the draft. If he falls to us, definitely can see Xavier Watts from Notre Dame ending up here. 4.49 speed for a safety and dude is a smart ball hawk. Hyde and Poyer leaving at the same time really hurt us. Pair Watts with Bishop and we may have something. -
Daniel Jones leaving the stadium to intense heckling

As someone who used to work with juvenile delinquents in an alternative school setting who got swung on, shoved, and other forms of attacks.....and insulted weekly by students with criminal records.....all for about $55k a year......I have zero sympathy for this "hardship" Jones is going through. As someone who is friends with corrections officers, military members, police, etc.....Jones doesn't know the meaning of "I have it rough." I will gladly walk through that line of insults if I had millions in the bank and could retire tomorrow being set up for life. He is getting paid very well to produce wins and good results. He isn't doing it. I've refused jobs I knew I wasnt qualified for despite the fact I would have gotten a higher salary. Some QBs walk away when they know it's over. Jones still wants the bag and should suffer the consequences of his poor play and choices.- 101 replies

Thank God Williams didn't touch the ball again for the Rams. Won my fantasy game by 4 points....

Bad Ref call thread ( for season)
ProcessImproverMan replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall
WGR reported after the game it was the first time this crew had worked together for a game. So basically the league subjected the Bills to incompetent idiots. -
Another way for the league to influence games. Lions lost due to that some years ago
-
Hopefully Rams close this out. Dans act in Detroit and the media love affair with it is annoying.
-
Jameson Williams has looked nice. Would love that speed on our team.
-
These teams pounded the ***** out of each other in the playoffs and seems like the bad blood is still there some.

Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Post Game Thread
ProcessImproverMan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cardinals are sneaky good with Murray as a starter (made playoffs with him in the past and were .500 with him healthy last year) so I'll gladly take this win. Just win baby McDermott worries me though. Alot of mental mistakes today that we've seen for years. I think the lack of actual preseason snaps for our starters is causing issues early in the season the last two years. Allen is a bit rusty week one because he doesn't really play preseason. Same with other starters. I had a bad feeling like week 1 last year. Difference is we rebounded and Cardinals strength is offense, not defense, so we weren't stonewalled in the second half. If Allen doesn't go superman, we lose which is worrying. -
Dorsey's first game as Cleveland OC

If the Bills had done to Allen what the Browns did to Mayfield and signed Watson, I'd really struggle being a fan. To go through football hell with no competent QB for over a decade and then kick the best one they had to the curb like that .....stupid. Hoping Allen retires a Bill. It is so hard to find a franchise QB and it bothers me that an ownership would do what the Browns did. -
Biggest plus today was his physicality and ability to catch the ball. Davis and Diggs struggled with drops last year. Coleman seems to have very good hands in making contested catches. That play he made today was something Worthy doesn't do. Much credit to Coleman there. He set up the winning TD. Hopefully he punks Ramsey Thursday. I really want to see Coleman win a contested pass for a TD and strong arm that trash talking ****head to the ground. Allen and Coleman need to continue to put him in his place.

I'm worried about the league doing something to favor the Dolphins in the game. Hill factually got handcuffed today for reckless driving and refusing to obey lawful commands from an officer right before the game. Not suspended. Dude then jokes around with a celebration about the event. If not fined for his thug behavior, yeah, I can see the league pushing Miami agenda going on .

ProcessImproverMan replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watching the Browns offense crash and burn is so fun after what they did to Mayfield (let him go after beating a hated rival in the playoffs and playing a whole season with a torn rotator cuff pretty much) and did in signing Watson. That franchise deserves every bit of negative voodoo karma
