  1. Commanders vs Giants will be interesting because of Daniels (as someone who likes LSU, finds him an exciting player and has the Commanders as my second team) Rams vs Cardinals may be interesting as both teams usually play close and Harrison Jr is an interesting player to watch to see if he breaks out.
  2. People hate being proven wrong and Allen proved a lot of the so called "experts" wrong with his play. Honestly, I think this ***** motivates Allen going back to when he was fighting to earn a spot on a college team. Greats like Brady were also ***** on by the so called "experts" early on and Allen follows that trend.
  3. Lewis never had a QB the caliber of Josh Allen. Lewis's best QB was Andy Dalton, who was a glorified game manager and has struggled to hold an NFL job the past half decade or so. Lewis Bengal teams often beat up on inferior opposition in the regular season but choked in the playoffs due to the QB position and his defense not doing the job against more legit offenses. Schottenheimer had the same issue except when he was in San Diego and got some great QB play. Great regular season. Choked in the playoffs when facing very good teams. McDermott has had much better QB play thanks to Allen. We should have won two out of three playoff games against the Chiefs if McDermott could actually coach well against legit QBs/offenses. McDermotts defenses have factually not sacked Mahomes once and haven't intercepted him once in multiple playoff games. This despite McDermott pushing the defense to be spoiled with a disproportionate amount of draft picks and free agent resources compared to the offense. Look at all the first round and 2nd round picks and free agent money spent on defensive players McDermott pushed for who could not stop Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs, failing to even sack him or INT him. Oliver. Elam. Rousseau. Boogie Basham. Miller. Tre White. All failed to do their jobs partially because McDermott failed to coach properly (McDermott factually took over duties last year so had more blame - failed to sack and int Mahomes once). When you spend much more resources on a defense and still cannot beat the Chiefs , despite Allen breaking post season records, it's on the defense and coaching. Injuries are just an excuse. Belichick shut down the Colts and Manning with most his secondary being hurt and having Troy Brown , a receiver, play corner. Won a super bowl doing that. The Patriots won their first Super Bowl against the Rams with Brady doing next to nothing that post season (especially compared to Allen) because Belichick could coach the hell out of a defense. Same with their last super bowl victory (13-3 over the Rams). Belichick also outcoached us in a super bowl. Dude's defenses frequently stopped MVP caliber QBs like Payton Manning in the playoffs. When was the last time a McDermott defense factually dominated a QB on Mannings level in the playoffs like the Patriots did in 03/04? Hasn't happened despite Allen leading us to more points than Brady led the Patriots in those games. McDermotts defenses have beaten Thompson for the Dolphins in the playoffs, Jones for the Patriots, Rudolph for the Steelers, a retiring washed up Rivers for the Colts and Jackson for the Ravens in a wind storm. One of those wins against the Ravens is a legit win. Against league leaders on the caliber of a Manning, such as Mahomes and Burrows, McDermott factually ***** the bed. So the slightly better than Marvin Lewis and Marty Schottenheimer point stands. Schottenheimer was routinely beat by great QBs like Elway, Kelly, Brady in the playoffs. Lewis lost to great QBs like Big Ben. They both failed, like McDermott, to stop legit offenses in the playoffs. Anything short of a Super Bowl appearance and McDermott should be replaced. He chose this current defense and guys we have with injury problems. These wins are nice in September. Beat the Chiefs and at least make it to a Super Bowl and I'll be more supportive of him. At the moment, we are a regular season power, largely led by Allen , that cannot beat top QBs in the playoffs despite Allen going off frequently.
  4. The Dolphins management, coaching, ownership and fanbase is simply just as braindead as their QB. Miami should have tried to push Tua in a trade during the draft while his value was higher to a desperate team and undergone a sort of salary purge by trading away Hill and others for picks as part of a reset. Miami has not been able to consistently beat good teams with this group so purging and resetting would have made sense. A team like the Giants or Falcons or Broncos may have given up enough to them so they could get a QB and reset the past draft. However management, coaching, their fanbase, etc all thought they would win this year so here they are.
  5. Panthers maybe. I can see that owner being that stupid to try to save Young as a project.....which means Dolphins get a good draft pick.
  6. People who disagree really lack a proper understanding of McDermott's record in the context of NFL History. The Bills have beaten two teams led by backup QBS in the playoffs (Steelers and Dolphins), a washed up Philip Rivers Colts team, a Patriots team with Jones whose poor play led him to being kicked off the team and a Ravens team in a huge wind storm game that was very close where we beat Lamar Jackson. That Ravens win was great against a great team but the other playoff wins not so much. McDermott's defense meanwhile blew it against the Texas and Watson when we had the lead, blew against the Chiefs in the 13 seconds game (2021 season), and really blew it last year as the Bills offense did enough to win but our defense couldn't stop anything really for a good portion of the game (and people shouldn't use the injury excuse - the Patriots won a Super Bowl under Belichick with a wide receiver, Troy Brown, playing CB in 2003/2004ish because so many defensive players were injured and the Patriots made it to other Super Bowls to win with numerous injuries - Allen has played factually/statistically/eye test better than Brady in many playoff games but doesn't have the wins to support it due to our poorly coached defense). We got completely outclassed in another Chiefs playoff win in 2020 season and the Bengals in the 2022 season. When McDermott coached (and often picked) defensive players go up against competent offenses in the playoffs, they usually choke. Same story with Schottenheimer and Marvin Lewis. They padded their records during the regular season but choked against very good QBs in the playoffs (Elway, Kelly, Roethlisberger, Brady, etc). Belichick was known for crossing lines to win if necessary, which McDermott refuses to do so... During the Patriots/Colts playoff games in 2003/2004, Belichick had Patriot defenders mug/hold/interfere with Colts players every play knowing the refs wouldn't call it every time. McDermott could have had defenders just grab Chiefs players at the line, get the 5 yard penalty, and waste clock in the 13 second game to prevent that. Belichick frequently did little creative things to win, cross lines, and McDermott doesn't. Andy Reid does it and wins. Allen is good enough to get a Super Bowl, and has had record breaking post season games. The coaching is a huge issue.
  7. 13 seconds doesn't happen to a truly good coach. Belichick wins us that game. If McDermott gets us a Super Bowl, then I'll say he is truly very good/great. Right now he is Marvin Lewis/Marty Schottenheimer with a slightly better playoff record.
  8. At least Hamlin fixed his K/D ratio last night......dudes a gamer to have come back from what he did and to make some impact plays this year.
  9. Chiefs didn't for the most part when they won the super bowl the past two seasons.... let's aspire to be them and hold them up as the standard.
  10. That fanbase celebrated Wilkins sexually assaulting Allen in the pile and guys like Milano getting hurt. So I am loving this karma.
  11. I have Tua. He was one of our greatest weapons today.
  12. The Marlins won a playoff series more recently than the Dolphins won a playoff game
  13. I wonder what Bass did to piss Allah off. Thought Allah hated pigs. Not bass fish.
  14. Maybe we are waiting until his second deal to get him on the cheap long term ...
  15. Hope Tua medically retires and still gets the bag /shakes down the Dolphins for the next half decade. Dude needs to be in Hawaii with a flower necklace drinking mixed drinks and surfing with Tito. Not playing football
  16. Dolphins fans were celebrating Milano and Johnson being out for this game and celebrated Wilkins sexually assaulting Allen in the past. Karma
  17. Hopefully Thompson doesn't go out there and look great. Dolphins gotta be in hell for the next half decade imo
  18. McDermott the day after 9/11 with the Bills in the lead - الله أكبر The league may have done him a favor scheduling this so close to 9/11
  19. There's a reason why Scantling is a career bum
  20. Miami seems to have issues when they can't cheat with the sideline sunlight ***** during day time games
  21. Amazon should cough the money up for the Manning brothers to announce games
