Good thing Romo isn't calling this game. A man has limits before his body has had too much excitement for a week. -
And the good thing is Allen seems perfectly happy not having to take over a game to win it. It was nice seeing us win against Miami even though offensively we didn't do a whole lot, Allen included. We just didn't make stupid mistakes and scored enough to win. And Allen was perfectly happy with it. Allen has had to learn he doesn't have to force everything to win at times, and that game against Miami was a good sign of his growth. Take the easy plays and work the system and make the occasional big play when needed. Some QBs are egomaniacs who want to be the big star in games and it's nice to see some of the ego being checked with Allen in taking what is given.

I know someone who is a Raiders and Mets fan since the 80s...makes me wonder sometimes ....

Bengals in September. They don't get the memo that the season has started to about October. -

I refused to date a woman because she liked the Patriots. Didn't matter she was blessed physically and was mentally sharp in other areas. I couldn't get over the Patriots fandom. Im really glad my wife doesnt like football but let's me watch it whenever I want with my space. No conflict. -

Hoping both teams look like this and it's an ugly 6-3 Patriots win (Jets are the better team imo so rather see them lose) -

https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/shilo-sanders-files-for-bankruptcy-colorado-dbs-debt-stems-from-allegedly-assaulting-security-guard-in-2015/ His son handicapped/crippled a security guard and basically is trying to use bankruptcy to get out of paying legally owed damages to the victim. Same son is a known head hunter on the field. Real piece of ***** family. I hope they all fail. -
Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start
ProcessImproverMan replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Daniels has looked pretty good so far. He isn't making really stupid mistakes throwing the ball. He has shown good escapability the past couple weeks and hit some big throws when needed against the Giants to get the win. And he seemed to learn to avoid big hits the second half of the last game. I'm seeing some growth. Washingtons line is weak and they have one legitimate receiver in McLaurin. Williams has a much better receiving core and is making the stupid mistakes Daniels isn't. His line also sucks but Daniels is escaping the rush better and making better throws to win games. -
Well the Bills are my main/first team. Other than that, I like the Commanders second (lived in Virginia for sometime and have friends who are huge fans) and Cardinals third (Pat Tillman was a hero of mine and I really liked watching Kurt Warner). I actively root against every other team and hope they all fail. I used to like the Panthers when they had Cam Newton as his playing style was so fun to watch. Glad Allen has his physicality but better accuracy.

People thought I was insane for saying Daniels is the best QB in that draft class and that Williams would bust ..... -

Patriots also had Welker, Edelman, Gronk, etc who were guaranteed first downs on third down. Brady often threw to wide open guys or guys who could simply out muscle people (Gronk) who never really dropped passes. I'm still waiting to see Bills receivers be that automatic on third down. Shakir is starting to look like that. That catch while getting cheap shotted in a crowd by Poyer was amazing. Kincaid has shown flashes. Kincaid and Coleman need to step up to be that. -
Week 3, Jagoffs v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
ProcessImproverMan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 24 Jaguars 23 Bills come out flat during the first half while Jaguars come out desperate. Bills losing at half time but Allen leads a 4th quarter comeback, throwing two TDS and hitting a touchdown pass late to pull ahead with basically no time left. -
Bills vs Jags Game Week Thread - MNF
ProcessImproverMan replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. We had some ugly trap games last year (Giants game, Chargers game, Broncos game) where we looked past opponents/underestimated them and barely won two of those (lost Broncos game). Every year we come out completely flat against a few opponents. We came out very flat against the Jags back in 2021 and gave Urban Meyer one of his few wins. -
I'm just hoping Penix comes in at some point. I had Daniels as the best QB coming out in the draft and Penix as the second best.

Non Bill, unheralded, under the radar favorite player.
ProcessImproverMan replied to Savage's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Commanders are my second team behind the Bills (lived in Virginia for some time and have good friends who are huge fans) and absolutely agree. He was one of my favorite players to watch due to the heart. It was clear the difference between him and Wentz/Howell with that team. Washington went from an 8-8-1 record to the basement last year (4-13) when he left and I think that played a role. -

What the government did to cover up his cause of death and the overall treatment of many veterans of those conflicts is truly saddening and infuriating. His family deserved the truth but the military lied at first to avoid the issue that we did have of soldiers dying accidently of friendly fire due to piss poor training and planning. What I find very interesting and respectable about his character is the multiple opportunities he had to take larger pay days and material comforts but refused. The Rams offered him a much bigger new contract than what the Cardinals offered and he chose to stay with the Cardinals because they took a chance on him with a late pick, despite the fact he lost millions doing so. Halfway through his military contract, the Seahawks and NFl offered him an early out. Strings could have been pulled to get him out of his military contract 1.5 years early to make millions and be safe. He refused because he signed a 3 year commitment and would finish it. His honor and honesty was important to him. When you have NFL players screwing over the teams that took a chance on drafting them all for a bigger pay day and only caring about money, his loyalty is why he's one of my favorite players ever -
Bryce Young already benched in Carolina
ProcessImproverMan replied to mushypeaches's topic in The Stadium Wall
Murray, and Flutie are smaller and made/make it work. Young just lacks the speed, elusiveness and football IQ to make it work. Cardinals have been to the playoffs with Murray and Flutie got us to the playoffs twice. -
We've gotten our fair share of no calls PIs to win games at the end the past few years (Cardinals game, Bucs game last year, Giants game last year).....
-
Refs did some home cooking favoritism for the Bengals when we played them in Cinci last year (Allen getting called for intentional grounding when it clearly wasn't (wasn't pressured and was clearly going towards Davis - Allen also got called for a weak taunt and then a Bengals defender gets away with a taunt after a cheap shot at Allen's legs for the second year in a row ) https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-josh-allen-controversial-intentional-grounding-call-cincinnati-bengals

Yep. With the Jaguars and Ravens both being 0-2, honesty, there should be no excuse now to not be 4-0 playing Houston in a few weeks. Cardinals today showed me more than those two teams in two weeks.

Raiders beat them last year in KC and usually play them very tough. Chargers are better this year. That division alone will be a challenge for them
