Around the NFL - Week 5
ProcessImproverMan replied to DaBillsFanSince1973's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both guys have made Super Bowls. They have a longer leash than McDermott. We can't even get out of the Divisional Round consistently -
Forget Adams, go get Romeo Doubs

If Seahawks lose again I'd call and see if they want next year's first and a second for Metcalf. They have two other good receivers but need long term answers at QB and offensive line so they might bite on that -
Do we trust McBeane in next years draft.

One can never have enough undersized linebackers who cannot stay on the field, slow corners who blow coverage's , defensive linemen who cannot sack the QB and tight ends who don't get schemed open consistently ... -

Harrison Jr just bailed out Murray. When was the last time a Beane/McDermott receiver did that this year? -

Just fumbled the ball away and were up 23-10 at one point. Harrison Jr just bailed out Murray. When was the last time a Beane/McDermott receiver did that this year? -

A Shannahan team collapsing is tradition at this point. -

John Elway was known for playing like ass at times for three quarters then having huge comebacks -
Josh Allen - is he playing injured?
ProcessImproverMan replied to GoBills!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. And if we don't help Allen, I can see him doing something similar in the future. His partner is a Hollywood celebrity. Stafford left for the Rams because the Lions failed to properly help him after Calvin Johnson retired. Allen could be gone by 2029/2030 if we don't help him -

Even Tom Brady would look off in games if he got hit hard often and early due to poor pass protection and could not find open guys. That last season in New England in 2019 he looked off when he was throwing to a corpse crew of receivers and his line was shakey -
Add the Steelers if they get in and have Watt healthy.....we lucked out not dealing with him last year

Fact vs Fiction: "Keon Coleman is not a separator"

Why we should have sold the farm to trade up for Nabers. Nabers would be more impactful than Coleman, Bishop, Carter, etc combined -
Who is more at fault? Beane or McDermott?
ProcessImproverMan replied to TonyBeets's topic in The Stadium Wall
Belichick or Reid has a Super Bowl for us in 2021 (13 seconds season) with these same guys so McDermott is to blame. We would be better with one of those two coaches. -

Hopefully we don't see a return of the Jauron slogan "it's hard to win in the NFL." -
Lets see how this holds up next week............

The goal is winning a Super Bowl. Not barely squeaking out a division win (no guarantees we beat the Jets even the way we looked today)

Receivers dropped 10 passes and struggled to get separation. Allen wasn't the issue. Give him one of Chase, Jefferson, Nabers, Harrison Jr, Thomas, Metcalf, Tyreek Hill, etc and we are not having this conversation. Two weeks in a row our receivers failed to do what they are paid millions to do. Get open and catch the ball. -

You clearly didnt watch the game and see receivers dropping passes and not getting separation..........And Allen lacking clean pockets most the game. Burrow just lit up the Ravens defense because he has Chase go off for 10 catches, close to 200 yards, and two tds due to being wide open on numerous plays......Separation our guys do not get for two weeks now (was at the Ravens game where they also smothered our receivers) Watch our receivers and compare the separation theyve gotten compared to teams like the Bengals with Chase, Vikings with Jefferson, etc.............watch film of the last two games closely and if you think Allen is the issue.......well you dont know ball. -

10 dropped passes and a line that repeatedly failed to block for Allen who had receivers not getting separation..............but go on.......Allen is the issue there -

If Pegula doesn't fire McDermott after this game (which proves for about the 20th time that McDermott is a choking ****head when it comes to calling defenses at the end of games), and instead hire Belichick and Josh McDaniels as a one two punch (a combination proven to win multiple Super Bowls)...........Cancelling my season tickets and not giving this team a single cent next year. McDermott is Schottenheimer/Marvin Lewis 2.0 and those are the facts. Definition of insanity is doing the same thing time and time again and expecting a different result. He is who he is which is why Philadelphia let him go. Bills fans need to seriously boycott Pegula, who desperately will need money with the new stadium being built. Belichick and McDaniels are sitting right there! -
