Wildcard Weekend Weather
TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in The Stadium Wall
The weather Channel says 15-20 degrees on wild card weekend - saturday/Sunday. Seems pretty standard for orchard park in mid. January ? -
Does anyone not want allen to win MVP? I'm just envisioning a world where allen loses MVP and is facing lamar in the divisional round. Not that he needs it but could you imagine the extra motivation it would give josh. And on the flip side, the immense pressure jackson would be under after winning his 3rd MVP facing the man many thought should have won the award.

Not really. If the game were played at 1pm they'd have the ability to decide whether Denver makes it or not but that's it. They wouldn't have the prior knowledge of knowing whether it's Denver or indy or cincy or Miami. Panthers @ Falcons could be a possibility. The falcons could need a win for the division. But then you'd have to hope the Bucs beat the Saints otherwise the falcons game would be meaningless. I agree there's no good option. The best of which may actually be the chiefs at the broncos. But that gives the chiefs a competitive advantage and I know the NFL likes to discourage that as much as possible when scheduling the final game.

I believe 2 games get flexed to Saturday , with the penultimate game played on Sunday Night. Lions vs. Vikings seems like a slam dunk for Sunday night. But what happens if the Vikings lose to the Packers and the Lions clinch not only the division but the #1 seed. There's really nothing else that appealing: -chiefs back ups vs. Denver on Sunday night ? Yuck... - The NFC south may still be up for grabs but the Bucs and Falcons don't play each other, so you'd potentially beshowcasing a meaningless game. The last time the NFL didn't have a Sunday night game was in 2017 when the bills broke their playoff less streak. But that was New Years eve so it's understandable the NFL didn't want a night game.

20 mph sustained wind and rain... Going to be tough for Josh to put up big numbers unless he's committed to running the ball, which I don't imagine he will be given the lack of importance of the game. And we know voters don't care about the weather. It's one reason why it's so difficult for a qb from buffalo to ever win.

Bills vs Pats December 17 2000. I remember it being blizzard white out conditions, and after the game getting lost walking in circles trying to find my mom's car. Things were a lot more difficult back then as a 13 year old without a phone. Anyone remember this game? https://buffalonews.com/news/this-day-in-buffalo-sports-history-december-17-2000----bills-and-pats/article_bc860b68-7982-5065-8ddc-bf5f102acc95.html From the article : "Snow, 45 mph wind and -1 wind chill, some call it the worst weather bills game ever "

Baltimore probably wins the division and plays buffalo in the second round
-
It's a huge advantage Chiefs are going to play someone like the chargers or steelers in tye 1st rd, then the bills .... whereas the bills could have to beat ->bengals->ravens-chiefs
-
Bills are really going to have their seeding determined with 2 games to go.. wow. I don't care what most people say... I'd rest everyone up for two weeks. Maybe one or two drives in each game to keep "game ready ". But I'm definitely not going all out risking an injury.

Week #18 Chiefs @ Broncos will be flexed to Sunday night if things play out the right way. Huge implications: Chiefs win they are #1 seed , Broncos miss the playoffs and the Bengals sneak in as rhe 7th seed to face Buffalo. Or Broncos win and they're in the playoffs and face Kansas city for a 2nd week in a row , while Buffalo gets the one seed. As a bills fan just thinking about this scenario/game gets me as excited/anxious as a bills playoff game would.

So who do we want to win this game? Im somewhat afraid that Cincinnati makes it as the 7 seed. And even though Denver has a better record than the chargers, I think we still want Denver to win because of their remaining schedules. The Chargers hold the tiebreaker over Cincinnati as well. Chargers Remaining Schedule: @ New England @ Las Vegas Broncos Remaining Schedule : @ Cincinnati VS. Kansas City I could easily see a scenario where if the Broncos lose tonight they also lose to the Bengals next week and then week 18 vs. The chiefs will either be : A) The chiefs win and they are the #1 seed and Benagls head to Buffalo Or B) The Chiefs lose and they're the #2 Seed and face Denver.

Mahomes week to week, injured ankle
TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mahommes was ranked by PFF last week as the worst offensive player for Kansas City , was something like 27/27. He's been bad a good chunk of this year. Even chiefs fans are now admitting this. What makes you think putting Wentz in is "conceding the #1 seed"? I think Wentz can easily go 1-1 over the next 2 games . Rest up mahomes and then have him come back for the broncos game. -

It makes sense. They're going to play two games in 5 days vs. Good Physical teams. The chiefs know the bills are going 3-0 , meaning they need to win 2 of their last 3. Theyre hoping and praying that Wentz can manage to win 1 of the next 2 games. -
Best Player in Bills History
TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm sorry but Jim Kelly should make this list before OJ. QB position is so much more valuable. Jim Kelly was magnitudes more valuable to this franchise than OJ and it was for a longer period of time. But to answer your question, my choice is Josh Allen and If he wins a super bowl this year it won't even be close anymore. -
I know right ! Its so exciting! I was thinking about a scenario yesterday where Houston finishes #3. They hold tiebreakers over Pittsburgh and Baltimore and still play Baltimore so its entirely possible they sneak into the #3 seed. In which case I think id actually prefer the #2 seed over the #1 seed! Imagine a scenario where the Bills play home vs. the Chargers in the wild card round and then face Houston in the Divisional round at home. Versus the #1 seed Chiefs potential path of playing Baltimore at home , assuming Baltimore upsets whoever they face in the wild card round. My Ideal standings : #1 ) Kansas City #2) Buffalo #3) Houston #4) Pittsburgh #5) Baltimore #6) Denver #7) Los Angeles
